Glad you liked it buddy. 1 tip. If ya cook it in the airfryer, wrap it in foil and put it in something to catch any juice/fats. Let it cool completely then sli e and fry in a pan with some of the fats you collected and it will brown it up perfectly. Also i use 50/50 beef and lamb somehow it just tastes better to us. Great review my friend.

L'il tip(ooh err missus)if you're making burgers, meatballs, meatloaf or kebabs. Add half/three quarters of a teaspoon of bicarb to each kilo of mince/seasoning, mix then rest in't fridge for 30-60 mins.
Lightens and tenderises it a treat. My Croatian sis in law told me about it, she's an awesome cook and makes the best cevapcici...Balkan kebabs.
Try it, mate....you'll thank me one day, but not too much bicarb or you'll be eatin' soap and blowin' bubbles 🧼💭😜👍!

Zorba The Greek 😍I love it. I remember buying some of those Tongmaster seasonings years ago. About 8-9 years ago. At the time I found them quite disappointing. They've obviously improved since then. I will give them another try. I remember buying the Angus burger seasoning, chargrilled burger seasoning , tikka glaze and some others. We weren't keen on them at the time. I still buy stuff from them occasionally but mostly herbs and spices these days. I cook a lot of Turkish food and they sell the types of chilli flakes that I use. Looks great Pappa ⭐👍 I would have a bit of garlic mayo with it and some homemade pizza shop chilli sauce 😋

Lol, great vid Pap but please try this for the best homemade Donner recipe I've found so far after years of searching, everything is from Sainsbury's mainly because they've got everything and its only down the road from me.
    500g 20% Fat Lamb Mince
3/4 ts Mixed Herbs (Not Italian)
1 and 1/2 ts Onion Granules
1 and 1/2 ts Garlic Powder
1 ts Hot Smoked Paprika (Its in a red tin)
    1 ts salt
    1/4 ts ground black pepper
a couple of small hot red or green chillies de-seeded and finely chopped if required for extra heat.
Chuck it all in a food processor and and give it a good chopping up until its like a paste.
Put the mixture on to tin foil and shape it into a rectangular sausage, tightly wrap the foil around it and put in the fridge until needed.
To cook, middle shelf of the pre-heated oven Gas Mark 4 for 45 minutes.
Remove from oven and peel back the foil to let it cool for 20 minutes.
MOST CRUCIAL PART.... Pour all of the liquid from the baking tray into a frying pan/wok with a lid.
When the meat has cooled slice as thinly as possible, I find it easier to cut the meat sausage down the middle length ways and then in half.
Put the now thinly sliced meat into the frying pan/wok and gently heat through while preparing your salad and naans, keep turning the meat to coat it in the juices.
When everything is ready put the meat in your naan with salad, add Crucials Mint & Yogurt and Chilli & Garlic sauces. Guaranteed the best 100% homemade Donner that you can get!

She has the flavour is fairly close to the doner we all know and love.
However, the texture is more to that of an American meatloaf.

    Homemade Kebab 👍
I agree with the pinned Tip.
My airfryer has a rotisserie function but it's horizontal, not vertical. I'd have to use one of those meat socks commonly used for pork roast cuts to stop the kebab from falling off the bar. That happened to old food guy when he attempted a kebab roll.
I'll ask my local butcher for a length with my next sausage purchase.

Just so ya know I mix lamb and cheapest fresh beef mice 50/50. 1kg of each, then add the seasoning and that makes over 2kg of doner that tastes better than any takeaway I've eaten from and it costs about the same as your single doner. Me my missus and son have kebabs for a couple days then we freeze at least half of it. Its that much cheaper than takeaway we haven't ordered a kebab in at least 18 months.
