Of course, 2 days after we released this video, out of nowhere, a Rioter confirmed that the massive crater behind Noxus is likely just the outcome of Runeterra's tectonic movement.
So although Ryze's home was in that area, that specific crater may not have been caused by the Rune Wars. Rest of the video is completely fine ＼o／

Necrit about the War of Three Sisters, those "Old Gods" are extremly unlikely to be the Watchers, they should be the demigods, Ornn, Volibear and Anivia. They have been refered as Old Gods in the lore and there's no reason why Lissandra lies would be in her bio. Here are some mentions:
"...unrepentant worshippers of all the old gods from across the Freljord."
"It was truly ancient, said to have been crafted by the old gods. The time of those deities was long past, of course. Some of the heathen tribes still worshipped them, but in time they would be brought around to the true faith-voluntarily, or by the sword. Regardless of whether they accepted it or not, the ice would claim them."
Watchers have never been refered as Old Gods, while the demigods have. The Watchers were surely frozen on the battle where Avarosa and Serylda died, it doesnt makes sense for a bio to be that biased.
Also Ixtal didnt make the diaspora, they were made by it. It was a westward diaspora, if it began in Ixtal it wouldnt have passed though Ixtal and Targon, it must have come from some unknown estearn continent. The diaspora first passed though the Blessed Isles and created Helia, passed though Buhru THEN passed though Ixtal and founded the nation and then founded Targon.
BTW this bit about the migration beginning in unknown lands in the east has been confirmed in the same Q&A where they confirmed that the Ryze crater isn't this one. I will add the link here if I can.

@@wanderingsoul7690 If the sun of Runeterra is Aurelion's creation, then that indirectly makes him responsible for Runeterra-- so yes, an accident, but still his doing. Although it depends on if there was some other sort of celestial influence to the manifestation of the planet, which wouldn't be surprising. Also, it's been hinted here and there that Aurelion might be talking himself up a lot. At this point I'm not sure which way they're gonna take that part of the lore.
@@wanderingsoul7690 Without sun light, there would be no life, which mean even if the celestial created human on earth, they wouldn't be able to survive without aurelion sol since he created all the stars. So that technically make Aurelion sol as the factor to create and maintain all life in the universe.

so you're telling me the whole fall of shurima could have been prevented if Azir had simply told Xerath about his plan to free the slaves a little earlier?
yes. xerath was basicaly the only person who ever cared about azir and vice versa. after multiple times xerath saved azirs ass azir decided to promise xerath freedom what was a plesant suprise. but when azir came to throne, instead of reforming the empire to end slavery or simply telling xerath (who was basicaly the only person who azir could trust because xerath was constantly saving his ass from oposition, assasins and even his own family) to wait and inform him about his plans, azir decided to start wars and conquest and when xerath started to get scared that azir forgotten his promise to end slavery, azir did the probably worst possible thing he could and told xerath to remember his place as he is just a mere slave. azir basicaly made xerath believe his worst nightmare of slavery continuing on for centuries. soo xerath's act was not only justified but also quite heroic. practicaly till the very end xerath was convinced that his friend became one of the fucked up emperors like the the one who led to fall of icathia. after all the thing that led to icathias uprising was inhumane treatment and slavery.
also when xerath killed azir he cried a tears of sorrow. that says something.

The image with the swords in the battlefield suggests that the giants were like huge warriors. Malphite is basically a living mountain, so I don't think he would match the Giants.
@@alanglauco2014 Malphite doesn't really have anything for himself now so why wouldn't they give him a drastic change? Make him one of those Giants but without a sword because let's say story reasons. I could see it work

I have the book and I can confirm necrit made a mistake about the westward migration. As it said that ixtal's culture is an *older* *part* *of* *the* *westward* *migration* . Not the westward migration coming from ixtal as necrit said.

Starting with a rough "start to now" and then break things down into its peaces, while everyone kinda knows when something happend and what happend before and after so you actually have logic involves and not just "read everything to barely understand the topic and being far from knowing what to do with it". Hey Necrit, so I've been thinking. Shurima is the southernmost continent on Runeterra (that we know of) and also seems to be really hot (because it's a desert). Then there's also Ixtal which resembles a tropical rain forest, I have come to believe that Runeterra is only half-finished. What I mean by this is that there will be a southern half of the Map. I'm pretty sure this has been thought of before, but I would like to see what a knowledgable lore person like you would think about the idea of this.
The ascended were created as living weapons against the void, and they literally became that by ending up as darkin sealed inside their weapons. Honestly pretty tragic.

So, I am going to write this before I see the timeline of the video. I am currently in the midst or writing a story for League of Legends. A series actually, that gives people an insider perspective on the world of Runeterra. I HAVE NOT READ THIS BOOK YET. As a result, I am not sure If my assumptions about the world are correct at all, and if my story no longer fits within the lore as I have tried to do for so long. I hope that I did a good job, and now I will find out.
(edit) Whew! Alright! I got it right, so far at least. Now that I know this, I can determine the next path for my characters.

I think "the old gods of the North" would fit better as a description for Anivia, Ornn and Volibear; They would usually be ruling the Freljord and so they had to be defeated, in order for the sisters to truly rule. I wouldn't call the watchers the old gods of the north. They seem more like the many allies Lissandra sacrificed to win.

Probably yes since Pantheon in his newest story fights with Xerath who, from context, seems like arrived to reclaim Nerimazeth quite recently.
Well once Azir fell from the disc and died the disc fell too due to Xerath's ascension taking its entire juice. But in Talyiah's trailer the disc is right back up which is what happened once Sivir's blood resurrected Azir. So yeah most likely.

Is there a possibility of you making an up to date video about skins based on lore? For example, Justicar Aatrox and Varus now much better fit the theme of them being pre darkin, or ascended forms of them. Would like to see a somewhat canonical video about lore based skins. For an empire that covers a massive part of land and is also very influential is like the obvious choice, bcs the most of citizens of Runeterra would probably know this date unlike events that were either forgotten or lasted too long to precise them.(Fall of Shurima-Azir's death or Rune/Darkin Wars)

@@gilsai4990 Definitely agree. Tho I wouldn't be so certain about Lissandra. Three sisters are basically a legend of Freljord. Given that they believe Ashe is a reincarnation of Avarosa the sisters might have developed some "special powers". Afterall Serylda went on crusade to fight celestials, Lissandra went for the Void and Avarosa stayed to establish peace among humans. But if not for the legend, I believe there was a mention Lissandra can switch bodies, but I'm not 100% sure where is that from.
4 out of 5/6 world runes so he's done pretty well for himself. Not to mention he had to run across the world on foot remember, there hasn't always been tamed animals and carriages
