About the new characters overshadowing old characters, hoyoverse took care of that problem in HI3. They keep releasing the same characters in different forms and battlesuits. I do think they are also gonna do that in star rail, look at inhibitor lunae. Maybe not as much as HI3, but it is great to see already known characters stronger and in different forms

I do not know lore well, but I feel like Mel can turn out to be Orianna. They both look like gracefull balerinas and Mel may be not let to be killed by the rocket and thus implanted in many ways by Victor and Jayce to save her

Ah yes, in lol one whole set of skin with completed everything from effects to animations costed $500. In dota 2 a piece of gem that its purpose was only use to change an immortal grade skin radiance color costed $600 for 1. Example: terrible immortal grade skin original color that is emanating from the skin is red. But if you want to change it to like white or blue then you have to buy 1 gem of that exact color and each of the color and gem color all have different prices but all are above $600. So an immortal grade terroblade skin set is about $35 and the gem is $600 😂 Not to mention a piece of weapon skin that cost over $2000 and all it does it give you a new sound effect and sparks when attacking

This might be a hot take but I think it's good that these skins are worth much more than all other skins, considering what they represent. If the skin was cheap it wouldn't be as exclusive, and it's also not just another skin. It's a tribute to Faker, and assuming Riot is going to gift this entire set to Faker on release, I personally like that other players can't easily get that as well. Faker has dedicated more than a decade to becoming and staying the best player, achieving a legendary status within the community and now within the game, and it wouldn't make sense if every other player could get the same for just thirty bucks.

I hit gladiator in like 5 games after the patch that introduced it. Now it just makes my Arena God climb so freakin hard since with SBMM, everyone is playing meta and playing it well. Ranked in ARENA as the only mode is dumb and that is my opinion.

i always thought that Shaco's lore should be connected to mordikiser. why? well in my headcannon shako was the courts jester to the king mordikiser, one of his most loyal and trusted people after mordikisers death, shaco who respected and adored mordikiser and his rule thought of him as his league and himself as his utmost loyal guard. even if mordikiser was gone he knew that death wouldn't be something that would hold his dear leage back. as to patiently wait he used magic to transfer his essence in the costume witch his king was ut most found of. for years shaco soul was dorment till it felt the familiar presence in runtera once more in the depth of old noxsus territory, he awoke. that's what i think they could try to put shakos story direction. idn's cool to think of shaco as a loyal jeste to the king that had long since perished and returned stronger and grande the never.

So here is my response to this: it sucks. Not because I want the skin but because a company/game/universe I care about is being predatory. However, while I will continue to acknowledge this fact, trying to boycott riot or whatever is the wrong move. Yes they do bad things. But they also do good things too and we should acknowledge that for the MOST part their product is positive: cool characters, great stories and a world I am continually invested in. All that to say that we can ignore any toxic/bad stuff that riot does (as in dont purchase the skin) while enjoying the parts about lol that we love. This has not ruined that for me.

Especially if you get permabanned, broken patch or if for some reason riot decides to do a league of legends 2 or stop services. If i was gonna pay $500 for the best esport player in the world signature, i would make sure to frame that shit with me and him in the picture, thats worth something, not $500 of pixels.
