I'm pretty sure they are canon. In fiora's statement when she refers, "fighting like a poro". You can easily cross reference those statements in real world scenarios like people saying "ahh you fight like a dog", as a common insult. It also doesn't make sense to say poros aren't canon when riot are clearly trying to flesh out their lore by adding descriptions and references for the player ingame to get a better understanding of what poros actually do.
He's not. That what a headcanon is. It's something that's not canon, but is so in your head.

CIthria's character is god damn awesome. especially in this game. to a waspy country girl to a strong willed commander.i hope she got a proper storyline or much better a champion in league.
and her interaction between garen is freaking cool.
What i am wondering the most is...how did she survive the shadow isles? I mean we know how most adventures into those lands ended. But clearly she must've survived somehow because when she went to the shadow isles(atleast from how it looks on the card) she was a squire not a commander so clearly she must've survived that one which makes me wonder just how fucking strong she is xD
@@dennishiestermann3055 I think that some of the armies retreated and by her actions in the shadow isles is how she got her nickname of the last card. Also in the shadow isles i think that some of the quotes were from demacian survivors.
What does she say to Garen?
Why do so many people want regular humans as champions in LoL? She has no special abilities, nor special weapons. There is a reason why "soldier with a melee weapon" are the most boring champions (Jarvan, Xin, Garen, Tryndamere).
I'd like to know as well.

8:48 It seems that the Mageseekers are similar to the "ancient order whose mission had been to gather and protect the most dangerous artifacts in Runeterra" from the Blessed Isles of which Tyrus of Helia and Thresh were members. So maybe the fact that this mageseeker holds one of Thresh's keys is a nod to this order. It could also be linked to the Demacian expedition on the Shadow Isles. And maybe the Demacia vault Ryze uses to hide the World Runes is an old Mageseeker vault, thus bridging the gap between his master's ancient order and the Mageseekers.
Furthermore, could this ancient order be the Sentinels of Light from Lucian and Senna's lore? If that is the case, that would ironically make Thresh himself a Sentinel of Light.
I truly love the armor of the Dauntless Vanguard. One of the only armors that actually looks really good.
The more i look at the art, the more i'm starting to like the way demacia "looks". Their desing is simply cool to look at, yet its memorable, smooth and has a very high dose of fantasy in it

Necrit, you should accept that Poros live everywhere. They may be from Freljord but you can have them like exotic pets in other countries. They are not considered like magic creatures, they are just animals.

It's funny because the old prononciation is actually the correct way you say it in French, the new one is just blatant gibberish.

at 03:24 The "How appropriate--you fight like a poro!" from "Fioras Riposte" card is a reference to the LucasArts Adventure "The Secret of Monkey Island" from 1990.
There you had to do sword duels against pirates, where you had to pick the correct answer to their taunt to win.

Sorry I know it's been a year but this is just wrong, that guy is actually the same guy in Arachnoid Sentry splash art where you can see him holding the roses. First off, they look totally different and that guy is Noxian which is where he met elise. You can also see them together in the Arachnoid Host art

She would probably have to hide her demacian origin instead of her magic, so it would probably not be very different than living in Demacia
On top of the stigma of being a Demacian, I don't imagine she would like a country so brutal and warlike, regardless of whether or not they care about her magic.

To me, it seems like these cards and the Shadow Isles ones signal that the Black Mist attacked Demacia, since the card of the sentry with the giant horn, expelled it, and then they sent a fleet to the isles to get rid of the problem once and for all. Because that rocky coast where the blacksmith was working seemed like the coast of the Shadow Isles, and the ships on the back seem like the ships on the Vanguard Squire art.
Love turning these vids on in the background when i'm gaming.
That last card looks like an awesome opening to a cinematic
Fiora Laurent. She does have a french accent. So i always pronounced it the french way. Made sense to me.
Btw. "I long for a worthy opponent" is the best line in the entire game, when Fiora says it. Gives me chills.
14:34 the sword breakers were used primarily in rapier fighting in place of a dagger. They weren’t only for people who knew how to use them, but people who could afford them, as they were very expensive.
I think the same Radiant Guardian actually survived her card since a "Radiant Guardian" is the one delivering the quote in the Remembrance spell card, there could be a lot of them, but it's more interesting and badass to think that she managed to hold off that army of undead and manage to actually avenge her fallen comrades

I'd like Cithria as a champion and even more if she somehow was marked by the shadow isles mist during the demacia campaign and wasn't entirely consumed but ended up in great pain and couldn't control her new found powers or whatever and had to be helped by a mage who's residing in the isles, like the soul shepherd. I think it would be better if said mage wasn't all the good so Cithria continued to question her beliefs about them.
It would give us an interesting character, an insight of the campaign and what exactly led to it, explain how there are still people who wanders these lands and a lot more. An opportunity in my view.
i think thats stepping too much on sennas toes. shes already supposed to be the character who has been marked by the shadow isles and made it back.

Apart from talking about noxus' cards, you can make a video talking about what kind of stories or easter eggs you want them to reveal in faction that is not from the six we got in the game, for example Shurima(?)
I wonder if the quote from Tianna Crownguard is something that she tells Lux after the comics. That is, Lux sneaks back into Demacia and Tianna finds her (or is waiting for her/ambushes her) and chastises her with the quote.

So I've been on a lore binge recently and considering the Battlesmith card @9:23 . Couldn't it be a reference to the blacksmith that incited the city into "rebellion" in the turmoil city? It could be his shop since I believe Turmoil happened in a coastal city.
First Demacia is fighting 2 front, 1 expedition against Shadow isles and lost and another against Noxus, you can see it witht he last card and the back to back we can see behind weapons of Noxian.
Katarina in her card she fight demacian soldier.
A) Tianna's Card has a picture of a blonde woman riding a horse and casting what looks like a beam of light from her finger which is a really confusing detail IMO.
B)Radiant Guardian's quote in the card Rememberance makes me thing she survived her battle at the shadow isles. As far as we know she might have been forced to retreat, but in context, it does make sense if she is remembering her fallen comrades
I dont think lux needs the staff for magic but to channel it and control it. Her ult is usable while using her shield in LoL and the new splash art in LoRT shows she doesnt need it to cast her ult. Her ult is probably just raw uncontrolled magic. that she unleashes.
If you look at the "Remembrance" card the quote is bt the Radiant Guardian, so she must not have died on the shadow isles

You said no-one other than Garen knows she is a mage but if you read the lore her mother and Galio along with one independent magic annuller also know she has magic.

you should talk about the champion quotes next, there's one of Katarina asking Garen for dinner, and one of Garen flirting with her.

Notice that senna has brown eyes on these cards. But green eyes at the end of the cinematic.
If there's one thing qi dislike about the cards is how clean everything looks, no chiped armor or blades, no scratches, mud, dirt or blood. It's really hard to believe those helmets have passed on and if they are, do they even use the helmets ?
Love your videos. One improvement you can make though is try to use "and then" sparingly. It is very noticeable when you use it back to back for multiple cards.
I thought Poro's could be in other regions as well, I swear in one of the Zaun character's back story or short story I once read something about a poor poro who was being forced into a circus or something like that-
I like how from this game we can see like animals from Ionia and stuff but idk how i feel about them expanding stories from lores i think they should keep that in lol universe so we can know for sure what is canon and what isnt
