This entire trial has felt so weirdly hostile from the CW and Judge.
I've been through the worker's comp system AND social security, and if you know anything about that, you'll understand when I say that those are very hostile systems. I dealt with incredibly hostile judges, and attorneys for the insurance, etc. However, ultimately, in the in between moments, they still basically acted like human beings. Of course, I was in court trying to receive benefits, not on trial for murder, but my point stands. Every trial I've ever seen, opposing council are usually quite courteous to one another, and even the most miserable judges typically act with some measure of decorum.
In this case, Lally fought about and nitpicked *every* single issue, no matter how minute or insignificant. It felt like he did it purely out of spite. And Bev acted similarly, making the process feel so combative, no matter how polite and benign the defense acted. She also never backed up her decisions, at least not publicly, which I have never seen that I can think of. Usually judges will say their decision and cite case law, or at the very least explain the reasoning. And usually they did this *to* the jury! She never did. The idea that the jury shouldn't know the reasons behind objections also feels so strange. The entire process should be as transparent as possible, so why hide that? I don't understand how saying something is hearsay, or argumentative, or leading, etc could be considered prejudicial.
Anyway, I genuinely feel like Lally deserves to be reviewed by the ABA, because he has acted unethically (esp with that inverted video). I'm not sure if it can be said that Judge Cannone has gone so far as that (although maybe, by not polling the jury?) But I do think she has acted in a very unprofessional way, and I would never feel comfortable with her as a judge where I live.

The CW has become a completely nauseating thought for me. I can barely stand to hear them speak, much less look at them. I can't wrap my head around their arrogance.

I watched the reversed video in the Sally port several times. You can definitely see Proctor by the right back taillight. He walked out with a small black bag with pieces of Karen's taillight so he can go plant evidence.

Craig, my putting that inverted video back in the correct direction very likely saved Karen from just getting railroaded and convicted. Thank you for that! As someone who sometimes finds themselves in the wrong place at the right time, I feel like I could have just as easily ended up in Karen's shoes or similar ones and I am thankful for people like you who make things clearer for jurors who hold the very life of the defendants in their hands. It has been luck that I've only ended up in embarrassing situations and never any legally embarrassing ones.

When I first saw that video, I kept watching what I thought was the driver's side because I wanted to know who drove the car in there. I was trying to figure out when someone would crawl from the driver's side to the passenger's side to get out of the car. I guess the prosecution was hoping that no one noticed.

Someone commented during the trial where did all the blood go. Someone answered her question and said, the blood went out in the trash with the Albert's concrete floor.
