Jazakallah! I did have a question regarding the bee miracle in Surah Nahl. It is suggested that because the verbs are feminine that it is referring to female bees in verse 16:68-69. However, in 105:3-4: "And He sent against them Flights of Birds, striking them with stones of baked clay." striking is also feminine. So does that mean it is referring to female birds? Also, in 16:66 the pronoun for cattle is male so is it only referring to male cattle? I'm just trying to understand if the verbs being feminine in the verse about bees is truly unique. Thank you!@@FaridResponds

can someone explain how argument #10 is refuted? Im confused that if ibn abbas (RA) said that he "heard the prophet say" to only 10 hadiths wouldnt this still make all of his other hadiths unreliable?
If Ibn Abbas says: The Prophet said. Then he may have heard directly or from another companion. If Ibn Abbas said: I heard the Prophet say. Then we are certain he heard it. We accept both types of reports. Joshua didn't understand what he was quoting and was suggesting that only 10 are authentic.
JaFed the murtad with his Little Schalar. After watching the whole video, i was like "where was the arguments against hadith?!". One principle in usul al fiqh is enough to settle their doubts/ignorance, that any possibility based on speculation or without evidence is not the evidence and hence, must be rejected. Poor academic wannabes
03:00 why did you clip it short, he gives the same explanation you gave about direct listening. I was actually interested to hear your thoughts as a response, not re-iterate.
Excuse me? The only people who need guidance are fitnah mongers like you who accuse people who're part of Ahlul Sunnah of being deviated which is almost always Salafis themselves.
@ah6757 just go back to any arabian history book and i don't see what this proves as at best it proves people didn't write which is plausible because arabs were more of memorizers than writers (demonstrated in how they memorized their history and lineages) and the foundations of the ka'aba are ancient old
Watch the original video first. When scholars contradict popular consensus and tradition the people ALWAYS react with hate and disbelief and then they eventually accept that the Earth is not the center of the universe. Dont be so bullheaded that you refuse the possibility that you may be wrong.
The bottom line seems that in the end, people believe what they want. The Shiite say Sunni Hadith are inaccurate, and vice versa. The primary complaint that Muslims have about the birth of Christianity (being assembled after Jesus was gone) is the EXACT complaint that non Muslims have about the Prophet after HE was gone. It is only fair to use the same scrutiny and not be bias. It is naive to say that the followers of Jesus wrote everything wrong, but the followers of Muhammad wrote everything right. If a Muslim looks at ALL the hadiths and says "I believe most of it." then its fair to say that the Christian writings might be mostly right as well. Right? Fair is fair. The best thing to do is throw out inconsistencies. If hadith isn't popular, then its probably not true. The same can be said for early Christianity. there are close to over 25,000 translations and variations and they were written in different regions by different people of the time, but the one constant of all those variations of the gospels is that each of those variations still say that Jesus was crucified, died, and rose again, and was seen by hundreds (and 11 of his 12 disciples) for weeks after his death. There certainly isn't a variation or translation that does not hammer that point home to the reader almost every other page in the Bible. So, keeping with that "trend" you could assume that Hadiths that are agreed upon the most are probably the most correct.
Please do a rebuttal of his PhD thesis where he labels the Hadith of Aisha r.a's age a forgery by Hisham ibn Urwah. Absent a proper rebuttal, many would be inclined to believe it because he's convincing.
@@FaridResponds Well there's more to it then that. He carries out an ICMA + form criticism + geographic analysis on all the different Aisha age hadiths and based on this he argues that Hisham created this hadith after he moved to Iraq. He also derives from these analyses that the hadith cannot actually be traced back to their supposed Medinan sources. From there he explains the possible motive for Hisham to do so, which is to present Aisha favourably against the Shia. But regardless of whether he is correct about the motives for doing so, I think that the method of analysis he used to reconstruct the ur-hadith is interesting. There was actually a conference held earlier this year, organised by Jonathan Brown and Ramon Harvey to discuss ICMA as a method in contemporary hadith studies. Shame there was no recording for the public though
@@generalOpenMindedThe problem is that his paper is essentially a chain of inferences rather than solid evidence to any of his ideas. Joseph Schacht, an older Orientalist researcher and arguably the first to seriously assess hadith from an orientalist viewpoint, did the exact same thing. They construct a narrative and pick out features that support it without conclusively proving anything to be true on it's own merits. Hence why the argument that Hisham fabricated the hadith to rival the Shia is just a substantiated assumption and far from conclusive.
The fact that the author thought the sun set in a muddy spring, stars were missiles to firstly genies, and humans made from clay proves Islam is false bro..
Farid bro mashallah u have a very nice hairstyle and face but bro pls workout do pushups ull look amazing bro. Then watching ur videoes will be 10× more enjoyable
You did well in the first parts of the video, but to give an impartial critique, your last two counter-arguments were very weak. In the penultimate response to Little, you merely dismissed his claim without evidence. In the last 'refutation,' you simply engaged in circular reasoning. "They didn't lie because they're pious. And I know they are pious because they didn't lie. And the reason they didn't lie is because they're pious." (ad infinitum). It's also an appeal to authority fallacy. If Little is wrong in his claim that mass fabrications occur in tawatur reports, you should demonstrate why or how he is wrong. If he is wrong in his claim that narrators deemed thiqa by early hadith scholars also sometimes fabricated reports or misconstrued things, the onus is on you to demonstrate how and why he is wrong without engaging in fallacious reasoning. That said, your responses up til then were on point. :)
You leave the fold of Islam with your argument number 16. You admitted yourself that sources of history, including hadith, can contain contamination. The Qur'an makes it explicitly clear that God's revelations have no doubt in it. It's literally the beginning of the second chapter. If God is emphasizing knowledge that has no doubts in it whatsoever, you seriously cannot argue that God is authorizing another source where there is plenty of room for doubt, or in other words, contamination. And it is without a doubt that the hadith literature is rife with doubts and contradictions. Game over.
Farid what does the hadith mean by Ali ibn AbuTalib: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The eyes are the leather strap of the anus, so one who sleeps should perform ablution.
Ultimately Farid, there are sahih narrations that contradict each other. This is yet to be answered and presents a serious problem for the reliability of hadith.
I dont think the issue is Hadith. The issue is the weight behind Hadith that yall place. Every sunni constantly makes the weight of hadith the same as the Qur'an. Allah never promises the preservation of hadith.
False...no Muslim has ever equalled Hadiths with the Quran. We know the Quran are the revelations from Allah and Hadiths are the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). So you're obviously are not Sunni..so what are you to say such crap ???
Hadiths will forever be a point of contention. Hadiths forever will not never be Quran. More and more highly intellectual scholars view that if the hadiths are not in harmony with the Quran, even Shahih ones, they should be rejected. But Farid isn't such a scholar, yet.
Go study some principals of fiqh and then you will realise the lies of modern western academia and such scholars regarding the hadith. Or you can simply just read the authority of sunnah by mufti taqi usmani
Dude Farid, you seem confused and full of arrogance, no disrespect..just remove the ego and be like the Prophet. He followed the Quran alone, not Bukhari 🤣🤣
If you read the Quran which you didn’t, you would see it says to follow the acts of the prophet. Which is predominantly in hadiths. You don’t seem so smart with such basic arguments.

@@karimmezghiche9921 a terrible paradox but for you!! It’s like dude, we see how desperate u are to critique us, at least be honest in ur critique and don’t make grandiose claims that u have to backtrack from later on.
Maybe it is your IQ problem...
Whole corpus of hadith is including maudhu, dhaif, hassan and shahih
While shahih is below 1% of total hadith corpus and has been filtered out
So the discrepacies should be minimum compared to other hadith in all hadith corpus...

Wa alaykum alsalam
Bassam Zawadi has a lengthy video addressing hell. I recommend that.

Agreed tbh

Can u do the one where he says that the age of Aisha Hadith is fabricated and show his flawed methodology.
It is stupid. He just says that Hisham counters Shia propaganda about Ali being young by claiming that A'isha was young too.
@@FaridResponds fair enough Aki

Game over.

Ultimately Farid, there are sahih narrations that contradict each other. This is yet to be answered and presents a serious problem for the reliability of hadith.
Yes. What this also proves is that not only fabricators were fabricating hadith, but they were also fabricating chains of narrators.

you whine and complain about Dr. Joshua Little being suspicious of testimonials, then you again start glorifying the muhaditheen as perfect beings that protect the hadith
