Indians depreciate quickly in the second hand market.
What a tease “I wanna show you 0-60 in all modes” I grabbed my popcorn, guess I’ll have to stay tuned. Great video.
Lol GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOO LOL
Slick move he did there on us.
Can also start the bike by simply pushing the starter switch on the right cube. It'll power the bike up, then hit it again and it'll start.
We’re taking a ride up to Springfield, Mass at the Indian dealership there , I love the challenger and who knows I may trade in the street glide , lol
thats my bike and i didnt know half of this!! Thanks tallman!
Awesome video. You actually showed me the key on the fob which I thought was lost. I looked in the bag that comes with the bike and there are 2 keys in there. I had no idea there was a key. Thanks.
I'm glad that I could help. Thanks for watching.
On the right hand side is where the stage 1 air cleaner goes, so you can increase air flow.
I got one & I love it
Boy this bike screams Victory. I love it.
Great video....I’m eyeing the Indian Challengers as a possible “next” bike.
Enjoyed you video learned a bit more Thanks
I am a harley owner, but if i was interested in a touring,, i would go 4 an Indian challenger
great video. Thanks for sharing!
Man I’m loving this bike!
Hey Tall, you have the ride command in night mode, that's why the display is so dark. I'm enjoying your channel, keep up the great content.
I currently have a 2013 Victory Cross Country and I think this is gonna be my next bike.
Recently discovered your channel and am enjoying the content! Now I want a zippers sleeper for my '15 103 SGS! Keep up the awesome videos and recommendations!
Zippers makes good stuff . If you live anywhere near them take it to them for the work or contact them for a recommendation for a shop near you unless you can do the work yourself.
Hugh Snyder will do thanks for the tip!
My 82 Wings got vents like that.
I do like the locking side bags... i know Harley offers them on the CVO... BUT come on Harley they should come on all the bikes, but AT LEAST the Ultra Limited and CVOs.. especially for the money we pay for them.
I have 08 goldwing and it has locking bags remote
The Indian doesn't have them on their base model only the limited and dark horse trims.
You can start any Indian touring bike by pressing the starter button twice. Hit it once and the bike powers up, hit it again and it will start. You do have to use the power button to turn power off. Just a little trick I learned doing demos
Great video. You showed all the features that I'm certain the dealer will have no clue about.
This is a great machine, maybe someday but a used one cheap once the brand levels out in the market.
Great vid nice shirt
Victory also placed the airbox under the gas tank.
For performance. Sucking in air into your motor that is coming off of your front exhaust header is not optimal performance. Vic and Indian seem to have figured that out.
They started it. The challenger was going to be the next victory vision.
The Challenger is, straight up, a victory. The 108 liquid cooled engine is a natural progression from the 106 air cooled unit. Not a 111 Thundetstroke.
Completely agree. It was the next generation octane motor...
So like a ram air duct?
The left side cover is not where the horn is ...horn is up front under the fairing.
Rather than pushing the Start button full down initially, consider 1/2 click down & wait 2sec for fuel pump to pressurize, then start.
Not trying to be picky bro, just helpful.
Ride On-
Man i really like those bikes, got the Scout, might have to trade it in.
I traded in my scout for a limited just like this one and as much as I miss the scout this one is so much better for me. Highly recommend it if you've got the money for it.
I can clearly see what a beautiful Victory you have bro lol All joking aside seriously if no homage is paid to its predecessor , that would be completely unjust . With saying that . I wish you the happiest miles and safest rides 😉👍🏽🇺🇸
Nice teaser for next video.
Do you know where the Navigation unit gets it's weather data from?
Thanks, just got one at Biketoberfest Daytona....love it. Still not sure about the rear suspension adjustment?
Great machine, nice job by Indian. Can you confirm the primary is gear and no primary chain? The more I see of this bike, I am convinced it is my next bike. Thanks for posting. Ride safe.
Gear driven not chain
First one to give thumbs up
Thanks for watching
The horn is located in the faring
U don't even have to press the power button to start it you can just press the kill switch down to power up the bike then press it again to start it. Good little efficiency hack. Also there is a 12 volt car lighter style outlet hidden under the hinge mechanism in one of the saddlebags can't remember which n don't feel like going to check lol but very helpful to know may come in handy one day. Maybe u can add that in ur next video but appreciate the Challenger content. Do u own one now? I remember u being biased towards the road glide in one of ur comparisons. B cool to know where u stand now
Imagine this engine in a bobber body. Oof
Hey boss the auto is for night mode and day mode!! .. ps you're right it doesn't always work great..
Thank you, thanks for watching.
There was a ride command update last week that addressed that issue and resolved a few more.
Ridingfish The new download is supposed to fix that along with adding Apple CarPlay
@@dreddey Unfortunately it didn't fix the auto-dimming issue for me. Bright as can be daylight and my screen is dim as heck...can't see it. And no, it's not in night mode. Unfortunately this bug is still there...along with a couple new ones, darn it
Family Friendly Channel Means Five Star Rating! I want to see tons of info on this Indian CHALLENGER!
Will we be getting a full review of your thoughts on the Challenger? Very interested.
You need to come down to Mall of Ga Indian...
Informative Video. Do you still have your Street Glide?
Only the limited has those rear inserts
hello and good day sire. im from dubai and i have been searching for this bike i couldn't find a lot of videos, my question is. is tgis this bike reliable? because im confusing between this bike and the goldwing . thanks
Lots of farkles and gadgets that I don’t need or want. I haven’t rode the challenger but have rode the others just seemed cheap feeling to me, too much plastic. But they will push H-D to put out better bikes. I just hope they stay true to their roots.
You Tease 😂
For how long you will get to keep the Indian?
Aesthetically appealing, but sounds like a sewing machine running.
Alot of good things about the bike, but the pipes may get you killed because you aren't heard, I'm not talking about straight pipes. But it's entirely too quiet..
Thanks
Those bikes get up and go.... I dont think there is a vtwin bagger stock for stock that will keep up with it... other then the BMW 1600*'s
The BMW is not a V-Twin
Now that you have logged time on the Indian which bike do you like better?
Sadly I don't think Tall could answer your straight shooting question, I hope he does without a 50/50 split answer.
They took the placement of the air filter from Victory
Polaris owned/owns both of them
Do you every think you would trade up from the SG to the Challenger?
So are you switching from Harley to Indian?
I'll keep my 20+ yr old EVO powered Harley, thanks! Technology sucks!!!
1st) the horn is underneath the fairing not on the left side where you suspect. 2nd) You forgot to mentioned how to activate the alarm of the bike. Yes, if you walk away the fob will prevent the bike from starting BUT the bike can still be moved. You activate the alarm by pressing 2 times the left button to close the saddlebags. You will hear a small horn beep. If the bike is moved couple feet it will active the alarm and the horn will blast. This feature works in all models, including the base model.
Polaris challenger...
Hey Tall, Here is another Starting tip. You can start it by pressing the Start switch on the handle bars once to turn on the system and get the fuel pump to pump. Then you can press the start switch again and start the bike. Now, I'm not talking about the accessory button on the fairing, I'm talking about the on/off switch on the right side of the handle bars.
The Indian performs better than a Harley of course!! However, the Harley just is put together better 10 fold. I know that sounds weird, but when you look at all Indian motorcycles they are missing something. Like a Harley you see the quality everything fits like a glove. Harley's are premium motorcycles almost like a luxury car compared to an entry level car. Maybe over many years Indian will meet the same quality that Harley has mastered.
Lol. With switch gear that looks like its off a 1996 Buick Century... yeah real premium HD.
Do they have an all black version like the street glide special?
The Darkhorse model offers that.
They make a metallic black/chrome Limited and a completely matte black Dark Horse.
There are multiple black finishes. The Dark Horse is completely blacked out and then there are other black finishes with shiny chrome parts instead.
Check out the dark horse models
I liked the video except that the movement of the camera made me feel a bit sick.
I'm in love..now I'm gonna go burn my bike ;-)
Soo, where's the 0-60 video? 😂
I thought you had a Harley? Or maybe you have both👍
I have a Harley Davidson Street Glide. The Challenger was a demo from Indian.
It not a Harley-Davidson
I kind of don’t like fake stuff like that fake air cleaner. Love your videos though.
Stage one air cleaner goes there
I really hate how all the chrome on Indians is actually plastic
Does it come with Apple CarPlay ?
Yes the Newest update for the system was just a few days ago and brought Apple CarPlay into use with it.
A Ride Command update just came out last week that added Apple Car play, but I think you have to have navigation in order to use it.
Yes
@@ascendantmaster In reference to the latest Ride Command update, does it also include Android Auto?
Gabriel Cocco No Android Auto at this time
Its not a secret. It’s a cheap Harley Road Glide knockoff.
Tall, give that Indian back, and get back to making Harley videos.
Good luck with all of the electrical problems. Chinese junk parts assembled in the USA. 💩
Bike is just too ugly.
Thats an ugly bike! Those dash lines flow like a brick, sorry not for me.
Just not nearly as good as a road glide Polaris still has along way to go
Are you talking about looks because everyone else showed how it out handled and out perform the road glide
What do you mean? Out of the box it will out perform a RG hands down. More power, better frame, better suspension, better radio. Keyless entry, full LED lighting, power windshield. All of those items need to be upgraded on the RG.
THIS bike smokes any hd
Well if he is talking about the Indian then yeah out performs the HD any day of the week. If he is talking about the Polaris not really sure if he means the offroad vehicles or the snow mobiles 🤔 even those perform better than a HD 🤣🤣🤣😷👍
Hopefully you realize this machine is a recycled Victory, no matter what, never a Harley Davidson. CLONE CRUISER trying to be something. Japanese clone. Jokes. Not going to last. Indian motorcycle is a joke! Just go to Sturgis. HARLEY IS KING no matter what you got!
