    I actually just had my bike tuned by RVS and had the ECU show up today. I have a 21 DH with the same modifications plus the cat delete and K&N filter. I started off with the DJ tune, but had a terrible part throttle hiccup that wouldn't go away. I tried contacting DJ multiple times with no response back. I finally gave up and contacted RVS and they got me fixed up and now my bike runs amazing now. No more hiccups, smooth linear power throughout the entire rpm range and the throttle response is immediate and snappy. I couldn't be happier.

      I actually have a weird hiccup with the throttle on my Scout. Every 50-150 miles I'll grab and it just uh-huh... I can feel it on the tank if my leg is on it. Stalled one time.
      Bikes got 6500 miles on it.

      This is my first send away and ecu flash. I hope that it fixes my throttle lag issue. Why Indian ships bikes that stall off the line is completley beyond me.

    Glad to hear your comments on the Challenger stage 2 cams. I have the 116 BBK in both my 2018 Chieftain and my 2019 Chief Dark Horse. The power gains and sound of that kit with the Indian slip ons are unreal. I thought about the cams on my Challenger, but to be honest looking at the HP claims seem very underwhelming. I have the Rinehart slip ons and stage 1 air intake on it and the sound is much quieter than I expected and doesn't really compare to my good ole' air cooled 116's. I'll take your advise and pass on those. I'll also start with the new Indian ECU flash. People so far seem to like it. Thanx for the content dude. Hope to see you on the road at some point.

    If you have not already did so? Get rid of the cat., and install a 2 into 1 exhaust from Bassani. The slip on exhaust mufflers and cat is hurting your performance.

    • @TwoIndians
      @TwoIndians  Před 2 lety +2

      Well aware of all the options although we can debate about whether or not the Cat and headers are hurting performance. Even the guys at Lloydz say there are no performance gains by following your suggestion. I have a full 2:1 system on my 116 Springy. Not against doing it but my concerns are that it would be too loud (yes I’m getting old) and I would need to re-tune again.

    • @therory6888

      @@TwoIndians the only two exhaust systems that I have saw that are available for the Challenger that will make good power is the Bassani and the Sawicki, both 2 into 1. And I am not a fan of the Rush exhausts. Their sound is good, and the finish is excellent. But their headpipe to cylinder head fit is cheap/terrible. And I lost power with them compared to a similar set of exhausts from Vance and Hines on my Harley.

    idk if this question has already been asked but how does the fair with one's warranty? i would assume a re-flash would void it, no?

    • @TwoIndians
      @TwoIndians  Před rokem +1

      Recent Federal rules regarding Warranty on aftermarket products(including firmware) dictate that warranties cannot be voided u less it can be proven that the alteration had direct causation for a failure. For example, they can’t decline a warranty claim for your clutch cable, brake cylinder, valve train or crankshaft. But if the ECU locks up or the bike won’t run because of it they could make a case for that. True story, my buddy has a Challenger with a Lloydz tune and the bikes rear cylinder stopped firing. First step in trouble shooting was to reflash the ecu to confirm it was not the aftermarket flash. Once they elongated that they worked on it for over a month and then determined it was timing issue and ultimately warantied the problem. BTW, the bike has 40k miles in just under two years and they still covered it. Hope this helps.
