    Had my tune done this weekend at Thunder beach rally in Panama City beach. They are very deceptive on the price of the tune. On the website it shows $599 so I went in to get it done. Tune was by Jeff at Lloyd’s and when I took the bike in nothing was mentioned about it costing more. Bike was there less than 30 minutes start to finish. When I picked it up they magically jumped the price to $804.00. Said that the extra $200 was for labor of removing seat and hooking up ecu. Straight up rip off. Price should be upfront with no hidden charges. Do not be fooled by these folks.

    • @CountryBoyMoto
      @CountryBoyMoto  Před 2 lety

      I originally was going to have mine done at my local dealership so I called first for a total price and they told me about the extra 200. That’s the reason I removed it and shipped it myself. I think it was another 60 bucks in shipping cost but I still saved a little bit

    I did the cat delete, and added the zombie pipes from tab, that really changed my 2020 challenger, but the bike was acting a little odd , I’ve ridden my bike for months, the performance was really much better, with these additions, but the bike just needed a little something more, I took my challenger up yesterday to lindian of charlotte,and they did the flash to my bike while I waited,I trailered the bike back home, I live 3 hours away, and couldn’t wait to try it , so I went riding last night, man what a difference, you’ll notice it right away, it’s really running great now, you really have to get this done, if you loved the performance before, wait until you try this. Scott in Fayetteville. Plus the crew their is really great, especially the girl that does the videos for the shop.

    I had true duals from Bassani installed on my challenger, and ever since I had nothing but problems with my bike, from check engine light being on, engine misfiring, o2 sensors misreading and just bike not running well. Contacted dynojet people and they sold me “power commander 5” and again same problems or worse.
    In fact no map to match my exhaust, some maps they suggested made it even worse.
    Until I heard about Lloydz ECU flash,
    Thank you Lloydz, and thanks to Music City Indian Joey and his crew, my bike runs amazing, I cannot believe the difference.

    • @CountryBoyMoto
      @CountryBoyMoto  Před 6 měsíci

      I did a stage 1 upgrade with the air intake and Rinehart pipes. I love the sound, not too loud but a great tone. No cat delete so far, I don’t see a need for it at this point. The bike has enough power as is for me so squeezing out another couple horses just doesn’t matter. I have added some led lights to the bags and a better adaptive headlight. I also put on toe pegs which are smaller and better looking than foot pegs (to me). I upgraded the seat to a Saddleman Road sofa tho it didn’t need to be changed if 500 mile days aren’t in the plan for you. The bottom line on the upgrades for me is that the handlebars are the only necessary upgrade, everything else is just a “want”. After 4 years, I still really love my bike!

    • @CountryBoyMoto
      @CountryBoyMoto  Před 2 lety

      It can be completely stock. They just want to know if you have made any changes because it may slightly alter the tune to match. So if you get it now while the bike is stock you will have to reflash it after any stage upgrades or cat delete. I think it’s 100 bucks to reflash after the original tune. Thanks for watching. • @CountryBoyMoto
      @CountryBoyMoto  Před 2 lety +1

      That’s a great point! When I was buying my bike it came down to the Challenger or a Street Glide Special. The main deciding factor was that it was gonna take me thousands of dollars less to get the challenger where I wanted my bike to be than the Glide. In my humble opinion the flash isn’t necessary but is a great performance improvement like the other aftermarket items we can get to personalize our bikes, but wouldn’t it be a great day if the bikes came off the line just as we wanted to begin with? 👍

I had the Lloydz flash done and even though my bike is stock, it really woke it up. Throttle response is great, no dead spot off of idle and no more speed limiter. This is something Indian should be doing for us owners, but since they have not, you really need to have the Lloyds flash to get everything right and unleash your bikes potential.
