      @Neil Brown, to add to your list:
      Cast aluminum frame, slightly longer wheel base, weight is carried low and balanced thus the bike rides and feels lighter, Fox air adjustable monoshock, specifically designed Metzeler Cruisetec tires...

    Great honest review Mr. Tall! Next time you visit Zippers performance, ask them how the quality of the Indian motor compares to the stock M8. On your124 build ,Zipper's noted some parts and problems with your low mileage motor that they made you aware of. Harley Davidson should have offered their liquid cooled Vrod engine on other models instead of discontinuing it since it was one of their best motors.

    I own a 2019 Chieftain and find the adjustable windshield very useful. During a recent roadtrip, being able to lower the windshield helped with bugs distorting my view while riding back home at night from a 300 mile trip. Because of the light weight of the bike, the Challenger is my next purchase for better handling on the highway against strong crosswinds.

    It boiled down to a Indian Chieftin or a SG when I was looking to buy a bike. Over 3 hrs drive to my closest Indian dealer, that decided it for me. They make a solid bike.

    Brother Tall, excellent video and content as usual....really like the location. That Challenger is refined. I agree with you regarding the plastic control housings and passenger floorboards, but the locking fuel cap and hard-bags are outstanding-checkmate! But the price for these bikes nowadays (Harley included) is through the roof. Another very important question for me would be: For a 3-year period, what are the expected maintenance costs for a comparable Harley & Indian ridden the same mileage. Blessings to you. Be well.

    Anyone that has had a power windshield on a bike knows how great they are for blocking what mother nature throws at you. I have one on my Trophy SE its truly awesome, get a little warm lower it down, when it pours down you put it up and barely get wet. Harley has some major catching up to do with this bike, at a time when they have crappy sales.

  • @2kanchoo
    @2kanchoo Před 4 lety +1

    The metzler's it comes with is a pretty big deal. Almost all bikes come from the factory with garbage tires or with decent tires but made cheaply with way less tread depth or just overall crappier construction IE made in a lesser facility.

Overall i liked the bike, just not enough to justify trading my ultra limited.
