Champion of what exactly?
I had one grandfather who flew bombers in WWII and became a commercial airline pilot for Delta afterword. He and my grandmother traveled all over the world (including Australia), he bought her Cadillacs back when Cadillacs were good, and he was a genuinely good person. Mom's dad was in the Army Corp of Engineers in WWII and was part of the Omaha Beach invasion. He was a multi-instrument musician who played in the Big Bands around Atlanta before the war and an artist and graphic designer when he got home. In contrast, I'm now 47 and feel like I have never and will never measure up to anything they did. I looked up to them both when they were alive and now that they're gone I miss them dearly.
You have family heroes! What treasures they are!
This reminds me of my grandfather. Military with explosives, worked/ran a huge mine, had his own tv and computer shop, many adventures, and the coolest guy at the retirement home. I'm only 30 but man... They easily had already full lives by my age, and another one by your age.
That's pretty Solid of you, to see that we're not the heros they were. Don't worry, keep them in your head and keep telling others about them. They can serve as inspiration, along with Ozzyman and his video, to ALL of us, to be more than we are. If I could be half the man, my father and grandfather were, I'd be pretty happy.
My father was a mechanic on basically anything not electrical based. Cars, golf carts, houses, oil rigs, planes, etc. He was a chief mechanic on the B29 Hurricane Squadron. Built a mobile home out of a school bus, before the internet. Street raced cars in his youth and motorcycles a little later with trophies that would line all fours walls of a large shed from top to bottom. Was married more than once, had more than one home, several cars. One house even had an inground pool before that was normal.
Me on the other hand, can only claim survived homelessness for 1/4 of my life and was in the Infantry for a few years and left home when I was 18. I can not fix anything, can not play any musical instruments, tried many, but can not speak a second language. Thinking back, no wonder I feel like a loser
“Here’s a herd of retirees learning how to floss” damn, ozzy man, that’s next level lol

The switch broke my rhythm, but did not put an end to it.
The story of my life.
That was weird, then went to what just happened.
I saw a couple of dirt poor brothers who owned a farm, Both of them in their 90s. They had bodies that would make 30 year old men today weep with embarrassment. They were a testament to us all that one of the secrets to health is to KEEP MOVING.
Or not be able to afford food.
Both, really. 😂
Much like exercise, the secret is to not get injured and wreck your ankle knee or back while moving. Oh and great genetics and nutrition and not walking into traffic. That's all.
Pics or it didn't happen. My farmer grandfather is very healthy, but thin. As men age their hormones drop precipitously and studies show you lose about 1% muscle mass per year.
@@MushookieMan 2 words, testosterone supplementation.
"being a young at heart doesn't really mean you have a young heart."
That line got me, good one Ozzy.
True
My 82 year old Puerto Rican grandma has more of a life than I do. Before Covid, she and her girls had taken a months long trip to South America and I saw her getting hit on four different times at music festival.
A true legend.
What's the secret to having a smoking hot body in old age?
Cremation.

That was awesome. Loved that little old lady that was taking her pet microwave out for it’s daily stroll 😂
When I saw that woman pulling the microwave like a dog I smiled inside because for the first time I didn't feel alone
That made me bust out laughing, it reminded me of my father in law when he had enough of the retirement home, he comes walking through the lobby pulling a dining room chair with his cane, I never laughed so hard in my life.
I never realized I've had a pet all this time
I don’t why but when he said “ Getting Knighted and becoming best mates with liz” made me laugh so hard

Why don't you why?
I don't know why either.
My grandpa (and personal hero) was an avid runner. Two years ago he lost his battle against cancer, but literally 1 day before he died he ran a race in San Francisco. He came in 1st in his age group.
I can't wait to be old tbh. Rest in peace Grandpa Georse, the ultimate renaissance man.
Amen
NO!!!! Old age HURTS and you don’t recover from stuff, even little stuff, like you do when you’re young. It will happen soon enough, enjoy your youth, it is fleeting. 🥂
That doesn’t even make sense… People can’t die from cancer but run a race the day before they die from it. I call absolute bullshit. Do you think that we haven’t seen cancer victims or something?
The race was who could die from cancer first
@@anti-ethniccleansing465 Seriously, some people are such bad pathological liars.

My grand grandma was always walking in the middle of the road in her little town. She was 90 at the time. When we called her on it she said: " I m 90, I do what I want..". Old folks are great.
As someone who takes care of my 98 year old grandfather (not that he needs much help really), just wana say thank you for making this video. 🤙

Sir Tom Moore died a few weeks ago,
People tend to stay away from the word "dead" after something like that.
Ozzy Man: "He was a DEAD SET LEGEND! DEAD. SET. LEGEND!"
Can't argue. Puts the rest of us to shame.
He was vaccinated to death wasn't he?
@@143DREWID nope - he wasn't well enough to be vaccinated, bless him. Dude was hella old tho
@@4492 Thanks for info.
He survived a war in the jungle, had a wonderful family, lived 100 years, raised loads of money for others, and was loved by a whole nation. What a life!
That moment when a 70 year old rock climber puts your so called younger body to shame!
Thanks Ozzy. I'm not at all depressed now :P
We have more time though, we could get fit but does the old timer have the time to get fat and pale? Probably no.
@@krashd Ha ha, very true. Being young, fat and pale rocks... :P

Here’s to Ozzy Man living and posting long into the future, we’ll be watching him from the nursing home
Ozzy man will never need the services of a nursing home.
Ozzy Man will be the director of the nursing home. We all gonna be part of weird things.

Bruh, that line behind nomads :D
Why don't people overtake them?
@@SF-li9kh Double solid lines, I guess that means no overtaking allowed. You go, nomads!
And this is why you're supposed to build sidewalks, America.
@@OntarioTrafficMan I have a feeling that even if there were a sidewalk right next to them, ol' Madge and Edgar there would still be using the roadway.
I think that's the Florida keys. That's the only road in and out too. That's a lonnnnng bridge lol
That last old person certainly made me question my life. Damn, I need to go to the gym.
well at least he showed us what's possible at 70. No excuses gents. I need to know his diet.
That guy is a Russian, Diduh Andrey Andronovich, from the Siberian city Krasnoyarsk. There isn't much on him, except that he is indeed in his 70s, and he's been a climber since he was 15. He's done much of his climbing in the Stolby Nature Reserve.

I had a long-time widowed Italian great grandmother that was like that. She was always making comments about young, fine hot dudes. It never ceased to crack me up.
@Mr. Meeseeks if she was a man, and the guys were women, the old man would've been called a creep probably :/
@@-Sober- Except not, because there was this video going around of this young woman showing her grandma the male cast of the Marvel films, and her granddad the female cast. They were both making thirsty comments and just about all the comments to that video were positive and light hearted. I hope you're not just trying to seem oppressed. Most people are fine, it's just internet culture making us assume the worst about others.
"This guys drugs are juuuust kicking in" 😂😂😂
Best Ozzy Man video in the "Old people" category was the old guy kicking the deadly snake - a classic.

Notice that the barking dude was standing without his girl the second time, lol :P
Yes!!! Hahahaha!!!
Got tired of putting the muzzle on him....
He’d be good in The Walking Dead or a zombie movie.
This makes me wish my grandparents were still alive. I'm still mad at the universe cause my grandfather on my dad's side died at fcking 99. NINETY NINE. Like y'all couldn't let him see 100 years? BS. And he was still sharp as a tick even down to his last days. It was both amazing yet heartbreaking too. I wanna be like him when I'm older. He was like a walking encyclopedia he seemed to know everything and he inspired me to learn Italian since he immigrated to America with his parents from Italy and that was all they spoke-he taught it to my dad and his bros and now I'm trying to learn it. I love old people. Raised by my grandparents....I have some of the best memories with them. I hope they stay longer by my side....damn it..tearing up
That 70 year old human mountain goat is in better shape than I was @ 25...
As someone with elderly clients, it bothers me that so many young people ignore them (they don't realise one day they too will be old), the issues with having no family or friends to keep in contact and leaving them isolated, and of course the health issies. It scares me that I will end up as a lonely elderly person that no one will notice or appreciate.

This is awesome Ozzy Man. My mom took care of a 102 year older lady until she passed in January. She was the funniest and most classy elderly lady I'd ever met. I hope everyone has an elderly person who they can love and appreciate :)
70 may seem old but was playing football with friends on field and we got a game going and some 68yr old was in tip top shape he outlasted 20 yr olds who play in college. Never underestimate.
Old people dance like there's no tomorrow.! One of your best videos for sure.! An homage to humanity.
That's because we know everyday we have fewer tomorrows😁. Seriously though, when young people see old people they forget that at one point we were young too (I don't mean you...I mean others). I think that's something that a person finds out as they age....the body may be slowing down, but you still feel younger in your mind. The mind seems to always think it's younger than the body....that's what Advil is for!
The two on their mobility scooters were actually filming Easy Rider 2021😎
So very very true. Thank you for dwelling on the awesomeness of these people. We so badly need their inspiration x
