    I would just put the salad dressing on a much smaller container like a condiment container and carry separately. I would use a rectangular food container as well. It’s a lot easier to eat a salad out of a rectangular food container. I used to make salads in a mason jar but have learned to do them in a rectangular container instead.

    Brilliance! I love it 4 years later. I can shake and pour when serving to ensure everything is coated with dressing. This is perfection without over consumption of dressing, which I always do. Thank you Lacey

    Hi Lacey, what a fabulous idea. I always get lazy whenever I planning to cut fruits, vegetable and chicken for making salad on daily basis but now I have your amazing idea. I will surely make it but my only concern is about Jars, I am leaving in Dubai so do you have any idea from where I will get them.

    Hi Lacey
    I just discovered your channel and love your content. I wanted to ask you if you use organic meets and fish? Just curious if they are better than the meats in the stores. Thank you and Im so happy I found your channel. Lots of great tips and tricks to health😊

      There are studies showing benefits for organic and grass-fed beef, which is a reason to go for that, but I have not seen any on other types of meats. I’m not an expert in this, however, but I do not solely purchase organic meat and fish. I hope that helps!

    Hi took your idea and made a salad in a mason jar with out salad dressing in bottom. I had so many people at work tell me what a great idea!! I have 1 question...if the salad is in the fridge in a mason jar does it need to be vacuum sealed? will it last 5 days without wilting? The honey mustard dressing looks delicious.. I will try it.

      This makes since because you filled it to the top so air can't get in. Air is usually why things go bad...so thank you for this. Can't wait to put my salads together!

  • @patriciagriffiths398
    @patriciagriffiths398 Před 5 lety +1

    Sorry I'm a bit confused why is important to use a mason jar or can I use any glass or plastic jar. And then when we use surely the bottom of the jar is going to bring the food to the top. Or perhaps you to use it all in one go. Thanking you in advance .

  • @TheVegetarianBaker

    These look delicious. Could I make the honey mustard vegan by using agave or maple syrup. I know that it would technically no longer be "honey mustard," but do you think the flavor would still be similar?

    Will the chicken still stay fresh after 5 days in just the fridge? Normally I would freeze chicken if i have to use it after more than 3 days.
