  • These instant noodles really take me back to my childhood, because who didn't love a cup of noodles?
Not only are they simple to prepare, but they taste just as good as instant ramen, without the styrofoam and with healthier ingredients.
You can customize these noodles in a ton of different ways! I have three ideas for you here today.

    00:50 - Formula/ layering for instant noodles:
    1. In the bottom of the jar we’re adding a flavour base - I like to use Better Than Boullion.
    2. After the flavour base, we’re adding noodles. I'm using al dente cooked spaghetti, but you could also use rice noodles, or ramen.
    3. Next we’re adding protein - chicken, or chickpeas for a vegetarian option.
    4. Last, we’re adding in the vegetables such as zucchini noodles, spinach, or a (fully thawed) stir fry mix.
    02:52 - Equipment
03:53 - Sesame Ginger with Chicken
    05:06 - Chickpea Zoodle
    05:53 - Thai Chicken Curry

They DO make a veggie better than bullion for a complete vegetarian version. These look so good.

Yes, I should have reshot the sound clip for that but they have a 'no chicken base' that will work for this recipe if you want it to be truly vegetarian :)

I'm a newbie to cooking and meal prep, so I always have to look for online recipes and yt vids to guide me. But most content creators have very complex recipes that need 40 ingredients, half of which I don't have yet. So thank you so much for producing content like these!! You're my new fave cooking CZcamsr 💕

I feel like whisking up the liquids & bullion first, would be a good idea to help them be fully incorporated rather than getting bullion lumps, but these recipes look tasty!

Fellow Better Than Bouillon fan here. It’s cheaper, easier to transport and better for the environment than the stock in a box. Oh, and I think it tastes better! And there are several great vegan flavors including a mushroom one!

My favorite is the garlic. Add poultry seasoning and a little soy sauce and it tastes like chicken broth

While it's true glass jars that most non-perishable foods are sealed in are not able to handle the shock of adding boiling water, Classico pasta sauces are specifically sold in heavy-duty Mason-brand canning jars; Classico jars WILL withstand the introduction of boiling water into a room temperature jar (not frozen).

Love the Weck jars, but they aren’t airtight unless you use the rubber gaskets that comes with them.

  • @flauschigeswoelkchen
    @flauschigeswoelkchen Před 4 lety +7

You're missing the rubber band for the weck jars. If you use them, they are way more leakproof. The recipes look delicious.

Hey guys, YES. The vegetarian version is not truly vegetarian as written but we felt you guys are smart enough to know that you could swap the chicken base for their 'No Chicken Base' which is why we didn't re-record that sound clip. Find the Better Than Bouillon No Chicken Base here: amzn.to/2O4DRk5

  • @claretan5469

The eye rolling and attitude towards ramen noodles is annoying. Like cool you don’t like ramen noodle but this is a video about a recreation of cup of noodle but healthier.
