In Mumbai I went for Mumbai.But they said your appointment is cancelled and you have to reschedule your appointment. I was so upset because I didn't know how how my appointment was cancelled. My fee also freezed. Now I am not allowed to reschedule my appointment. I can't find any way.to get B2 Visa to USA

Bro.. mumbai consulate pe is there any facility to submit my phone and later collect it back. I mean, phone carry kar sakte hain na?
You can carry it in consulate but they will ask you switch your phone once you are inside the facility

There are a lot of rickshaw wala's which will take you to a locker facility (not provided by the US embassy) 2 minutes away from the visa appointment center to store your belongings safely for economical price.
For women , what can we wear for ofc appointment , is kurti ok? or formals are required. TIA
Yes, kurti/salwar kameez is okay, the picture will be black n white and it will be till the shoulder level. Recommended outfits would be semi casual (shirt with jeans) or proper formals (pant shirt)
Also sir is there any specific counter there for updating new ds160 form?

People coming from outstation have facility to keep mobile phones.. are mobile.phones allowed inside the visa office
Electronics devices are not allowed inside, its better to take someone with you who can wait outside with your phone.

Brother.i m from nepal. I have one problem. Actually i lost my passport after make cgi portal and i get appointment confirmation with that passport no. Now i have to take my vac with new one. Will there any problems for biometric if i will provide them photocopy of old passport?? Please reply 🙏
You can’t just show them photocopy. You should have police report stating that you lost your old passport. Also, you’ll be needing more documents, you must reach out to the US consulate embassy via email or call and confirm the other documents with them. Also, you need to ask them about DS-160 form. Because you may have to fill a new one with new passport number. Reach out to them and confirm all your queries.
I wrote Gmail in us consulate in Kathmandu but they said u have to take photocopy of old passport at the time of interview then it will be proceed. But at Mumbai consulate . Will police report necessary??
@@MDParbejMusic if you have VAC at Mumbai consulate. I would highly recommend you to gmail them as well and confirm once.

Can we carry mobile phone with us
You can’t carry mobile phone inside the building with you. You’ll have to ask someone(your friend or someone) to hold it while you are inside for your biometric.

@@amrutagodase8797 I’m not sure about the charges. It is 50rs or 500rs I’m not sure. The locker should be able to fit your small shoulder bag/phone/purse/wallet

Take CDC original and photocopy to be on the safer side. Also, at biometric they will put a sticker on the back of your passport, DO NOT remove it ever.
My biomatric date is near by but Fress CDC still in process. Can I carry print out of CDC in process form or I must need to carry CDC in hand
pehle consulate ho sakta hai kya ?
You can’t book the appointments separately. And you cannot have interview before biometric, first they need to put your biometric data into the system and then you can go for the interview. So that when you pass or fail, they can then update your status to the data they entered during biometric.
What is I 20?
Document provided by the US universities for the students who are enrolled with them.

@@startsmart3693 they allow bags and folders to carry along with you as i have been to VAC yesterday but for electronic items there's a charge of 500

And DS-160 confirmation letter is only barcode at the end if the page?or something else?
Take passport size photographs 4-5. Yes ds-160 confirmation page is needed.

bhai what is I20 document? Please explain briefly
I-20 is a document issued by the university proving that you are legally enrolled in a program of study in the United States and you have sufficient finance to fund your education. It is issued to the incoming international students which have information like student's name, university name, program name, 1 year's total expenditure(tuition fees + living expense + books & supplies). For better understanding, consider it as wedding invitation, without this invitation you cannot enter the wedding, in the same way without I-20 you cannot enter USA.
It is compulsory to take colour copy Xerox or black and white will be fine
May I ask what printouts? If it’s confirmation of DS 160 then black n white is fine.
