For the biometric for F1 and F1, is it automatic after paying for your appointment, or does one need to book online for the biometric .

DS160 Application or DS160 Confirmation page? Afaik you're supposed to take the Confirmation page.
Do i need to carry my photographs? Or, will they click it by themselves at the VAC?
Secondly, in the video you said that you carried your mobile and they allowed it in switched off mode. But in comments section you replied to one's question that mobiles are not allowed in kolkata vac. Please clarify.
No they will click the photographs.
I am sorry for the confusion, I think you are generally not allowed to carry your phones inside. But it depends on the staff there if they are okay with you keeping the phone switched off in your pocket, then its fine.
Did you carry your other documents like marksheets etc. too in the folder or just 3 document? Were they allowing anyone to carry them?
I carried only the 3 documents in the folder, and those are all you need. But if you want, you can take them with it I guess, it wont be a problem.

I am not exactly sure about that. But I think yes. The best would be to call their helpline and just confirm.
Are mobile phones (switched off) and a bag to carry my file of document allowed in Kolkata (biometrics)?
No you will not be allowed to take mobile phones inside the center, but you can carry a small folder to carry all your documents.
I have to change my university and sevis details, so I should inform the person who will be taking my photo and fingerprints that right?

Yes, you will need to carry the DS 160 form print out. As far as I can remember, you can retrieve your DS160 from the US Department of State website, same website where you apply for DS160.

Is there a locker room or cloak room in the Kolkata VAC to keep our belongings?
As far as I remember, no. People were keeping their bags outside the center in a place designated for it.
