You remind me of myself when I was young, the memories I had of drawing the many cartoons I used to watch as a kid, I have been drawing ever since I could remember, many times my classmates would laugh at my work, but that was way back in like 2013, but that didn't stop me, I kept on drawing, watching tutorials on CZcams, and trying out different styles, many times I get mad because my work doesn't come out the way I want it to, but I didn't give up. Fast forward to this current year, I'm now 16 years old, turning 17 this August, and this video just popped up in my recommendations, watching how far you've come and how much you've achieved has inspired me draw even more, seeing what one can achieve if they really put their heart into it. I'm not really good with words (God knows I'm a terrible speaker), but thank you. I may have just found your channel a few minutes ago, but thank you.
Thank youtube for recommending me this 7 years later. In the past 2 years I’ve improved leaps and bounds with my drawing, but recently I’ve been feeling uninspired and demotivated to continue, I just can’t get myself to sit and do it. It was actually the most heartening thing to see that all this was done on paper, since I keep feeling pressure to switch to digital even though it doesn’t feel as natural as traditional. I’m trying to strike some sort of happy medium where I do half and half, but this encouraged me to for now stick to what’s comfortable.
Thank you for making such an inspiring video, and whatever you do, keep drawing.

This makes me feel so encouraged, I am currently in 7th grade and I am quite proud of my drawins but I do feel discouraged at times so seeing other people improve makes me remember that I will also one day be able to draw like my favourite artists. Thank you for this!

It's really cool to see someone else's art progress! I'm a Sophomore in Highschool right now, a bit older than the video's creator was when they made it. Our art progressed very differently, so this helped me point out issues in my art... and some egregious issues in theirs. It will be really funny to think of my art now in the future.

I remember watching this 5 years ago, and I was so inspired and motivated to work on my art, regardless of how difficult it all was. And now, I'm at a point where I have improved a lot from back then and I even plan to have a career centered around art and drawing. Thank you for making this video, it truly helped me when I was growing up and felt like giving up on art

You know those moments when you're proud of something you drew, then you improve your art style drastically over the time space of like, a month, and then you look at your art from a month before and think:

When I was little I would draw all the time, of course I sucked but I enjoyed it. Over time I kind of lost interest and stopped drawing by the time I was about 11. Then at the age of 13 I stumbled across this video. I loved it so much I wanted to draw again. A year later here I am way better than I thought I could be and drawing again. I have many friends who do as well, and we all meet up and draw together and learn from each other. You wouldn't believe the effect this video has on me. So thank you, for getting me back into drawing again. :)

u can learn really quick! use reference alot of reference until what you reference becomes natural and just sketch the frames of bodies. Recently i started drawing manga style again and looks back at a drawin a year ago to now and wow reference helps!

As a 4th grader, my mind always told me "if you keep doing what you're doing you'll improve"
i started drawing at kindergarten and my drawing went from stickmen, triangle shaped heads, trash anatomy, to a whole new improvement
i hope everyone will never give up on what they're achieving and always remember that if you push yourself to the give up hole, you wont go further through your dreams.

Its the opposite for me dude I can’t draw women and for the other eye its pretty easy just don’t draw one eye alone and then move to the other draw them both at the same time so you can compare them hope that helps!

All the images before 8th Grade I wasn’t a fan of the way you drew hair and face but the anatomy improvement was amazing! The poses caught so much movement and weren’t stiff at all!

Bruh, you were only in 6th grade and you mastered wrinkles, and here I am in 7th grade and I'm still drawing skin tight clothing!!
Kawaii Lilly the biggest help with drawing clothes that i ever heard is that folds and wrinkles r created by pulls and tugs. u gotta think about how the clothing hangs on the character. anatomy and thinking how things look in three dimensional space is crucial for drawing well. for example, the neck doesnt come straight down from the head, it comes out from the back, and doesnt just connect to the shoulders it gets wider further down due to tendons and muscles and stuff. check out manga for dummies from the library and the author does an excellent job of describing wrinkles and such. hope this helped ✌🏻️

That's how I feel about my drawings as well. If it doesn't match my goal of perfection, then I end up throwing it away or stop drawing it. Also, on another note, I was having a good day until I saw your pfp- :] Pain.
