Today we are discussing the return of Fabius Bile... and his betrayal of The Deathguard!
The events we are discussing today are from the short story "A traitor's trust" by Dirk Wehner. And this is a FREE short story as part of the Psychic Awakening campaign, on the Warhammer Community website. As always I really recommend you read the novel for yourself first. The Spider is just such a good damned character. He's pissed off so many loyalist chapters, and traitor legions, and he always makes it out.
With all the changes happening in the universe, particularly in the Imperium and Chaos, I guess it's good that Bile is still being Bile.
Feels like he could have a Saturday morning cartoon show and be the villain. Nothing good comes out of being around him. Honestly at some point saying trust me should translate to shoot him in the face right fucking now.

They are amazing books you absolutely need to read them , fabius has an awesome ragtag group of traitors with him : a worldeater, word bearer , iron warrior, death guard.... basicly a "we used to be apothicaries" squad, its sweet, the world eater is the best, you'll see.
Also if you have not read them: Ciaphas Cain series is the best , absolute best, you gotta checkem out - 3 omnibi and 1 book so far, and its amazing

I definitely recommend the Bile series. He is a much more complex character than the mad scientist vibe he gives off. He is obsessed with pushing mankind's evolution and doesn't care what he has to do to get there.
@Execute order: 65! I loved how he possibly alone out of anyone else still believes in the imperial truth and completely disregards chaos and demons. He truly is his own man and faction.

This story really does portray Fabius as one of the main villains of 40k.

Because I often talk about chaos forces lumped up as one giant faction of forces, I tend to forget that there are factions that absolutely hate each other within their ranks.

Death Guard and Thousand Sons. No telling what they might do to you for stealing their stuff but I know it won't be pleasant.

Clean and wholesome fun compared to the Emperors Children and what Bile can offer.
And if you steal from the Thousand Sons chances are they saw it coming and doing so will screw you over somehow.

Bile is a beast! Love it ... only he could have the arrogance and the skills to poke an entire legion. You really should read Primogenitor. I just started it and it is awesome.

I can highly recommend you Fabius Bile books. He is just such a wonderful character, that mad scientist who has his vision of universe and just goes after it, he comes across to me (please don't burn me as a heretic) the same as Belisarius Cawl, only difference be Bile doesn't have imperial sanction for his actions. I would love to one day have these two to meet up and after bunch of poking and maybe a little fight discuss Primaris and New Men, what went wrong and what and how to improve

Wolf I'm a huge fan of yours I love the videos...as far as fabious goes...he always has a plan...and he usually makes himself valuable to the enemies chasing him..what's at the cadian gate I can only guess but rest assured it's beneficial too bile

This whole event seems to be another lead to something big happening within the death guard. I could seriously see a Nurgle Civil war between Typhus leading the forces of decay and apathy VS mortarion and the forces of hope and rebirth.

Fabulous Bill is something of an anomaly... I dont even think the emperor understood what he created when Bill began to walk on Terra. Fabulous Bill will surely have a hand in the downfall of the Imperium as much as Abaddon does and the Daemon Primarchs
The Imperium won’t fall and Bile may actually end up destroying chaos.

Wolf Lord, could you read us about that time when Fabius came face to face with Slaanesh and was like " You are not real. There are no gods".
He is technically right. But also very very wrong.
Slaanesh isn't "real" he/she/it exists in the warp, a dimension outside of reality. But at the same time is powered by and even sustained by the thoughts/feelings/actions of sentient beings in real space. So slaanesh's continued existence is contingent on the continued existence of humanity and to a lesser extent the eldar, and any other sentient races really.
After all, as Cormac McCarthy once said: "where man cant survive, the gods fare no better."
That's okay Death Guards only moves 5 inches anyways.
The first Fabius Bile novel is currently on Humble Bundle available in the first tier of the bundle, highly recommend it!

Typhus is pretty vindictive. One of the stories in the Maledictions anthology shows how dogged and how creative he can be in pursing a grudge.

Fabius tore a (heh) bloody strip out of the Blood Angels just as they were getting over the whole 'false Sanguinius' thing with the help of a delusional Grail Priest, or whatever the Blood Angels call their apothecaries. Fun stuff.
I mean... if I had a choice to meet a "man" that has enough rot in him to make all of my equipment rusted and broken, and also smelled like THAT, then yeah I would probably scramble.

Wolf Lord Rho you won’t regret it. He’s written with real depth
He has 6 clones he operates atv1 time. He's corpsus is in a living sarcophagus of wrailthbone. He has his new men on thousands of chaos and imperial planets. Typhone is a wonky advisory to deal with.
The old Typhus model was awesome. The new one sucks. I wish GW did for Typhus what they're doing for Bile. Just updating the model and making it more detailed.

Blood Ravens managed to get "gifts" from the fucking Custodes, Trazyn the Infinite stole fucking Creed, but Fabulous Pimp Cane Bill just stole some Relic from the Death Guard.

Fabius Bile has a young face, only his hair is like an old man.
@@magnusthered5994 Not really. He changes bodies (transfers his consciousness to a clone of himself) fairly often (every couple hundred years) so he goes from having a young face to having an old face and repeats the cycle.
Moritz Frank Then Christian Bale should play him. He could do both young and old Bile.
I'm a big fan of Fab Bill myself and humbly ask for more vids about him.

Fabius is such a great character. I don't think he has ever, at any point in his existence, given a single fuck. Like you said, balls with the density of neutron stars, and the arrogance to match.

I find fabius bile to be a thoroughly interesting character, I almost wish that HE was the one to have made the primaris after turning loyalist again when meeting his loyalist clone of fulgrim.
But on the other hand, he brings trouble everywhere he goes, feels like he is the benny Hill theme taking form in the 40k universe.

You need to look more into Fabius. man as clone lot of the primrachs, created the noise marines enhancements, stole blood SANGUINIUS from the blood angels. Best part is death means nothing to him due the fact he has clones of his bodies on the event of his death his mind and memories move away to one of the bodies. He is one of the original legionnaires of the Emperors Children, and being one of these members he suffers from the blight that nearly destroyed legion.

If this artifact is so dangerous the Death Guard, who scoff at the dangers of all kinds of disease, keep it in stasis I wonder how Fabius is going to save himself from being turned into sludge once the stasis field is turned off.
He doesn't have to the disease could kill him outright he has backup clones on standby and can " download" himself into it easily and has done so in the past
Kinda curious what Typhus's relationship with Mortarian since his return.
Typhus doesn't want to cooperate with Mortarion, but when Nurgle tells him to join forces to attack Ultramar, Typhus cooperates with Morty.
He won't accept orders from the Primarch due to his conversion to champion of Nurgle and sees himself in higher status
Mortarion could be shooting for redemption...

Fabius Bile is so insane that he might end up killing Typhus for the relic, who knows?
He is going to rebirth a chaos version of all 22 Primarchs and start a real black crusade with them. (That is right 22 Primarchs. I always in my heart of hearts believed the 11th legion was lead buy a set of twin Primarchs. Even before I found out the 20th was. So in my crazy mind is there are 22 Primarchs.) Of course I don't think that's what he is really going to do. But it wouldn't surprise me if he tried. He has an ego bigger than Horus, Fulgrim, and Lorgar put together.
