I can see all of your points here though I think it's one way to look at it. Yeah, Mickey's fatherhood was never confirmed but neither was it denied. Yeah, Mickey never wanted a kid but there was the idea of something growing in Mickey toward Yevgeny in a few scenes so as far as I'm concerned their was potential. In regards of Svetlana wanting nothing to do with Mickey, that is a very real possibility, however when asked, the actress who played Svetlana, said she thinks Svetlana would want Yev not only to know Mickey but also to know him and Ian as a couple. Obviously the whole Yevgeny mess is debatable on many ends, which is why in my personal opinion at least, there was still a lot of potential in that storyline. If they had decided to pick it up again it literally could have gone in any direction. Well, they didn't but it sure as hell would have been interesting.

I’ve been thinking a lot about this scene and I really hope that season 11 brings us Gallavich babies, but the reality is that it will be difficult. They don’t have money for anything like surrogacy and they probably can’t adopt given that they both have criminal records so realistically, how are they going to get kids? They could kind of play on this scene by having Debbie agree to carry a baby for them, but instead of Mickey having sex with Debbie, they could do the turkey baster method. It actually would be kind of funny if Ian and Mickey are in one room and Ian helps Mickey “produce his specimen” into a container, which then gets passed off to Sandy who brings it to the room next door and uses a turkey baster to impregnate Debbie. It would be weird, but this is Shameless after all. The other idea I had was, what if Mandy shows up out of the blue and is very, very pregnant. She either doesn’t know who the father is or doesn’t want him to know about the kid, so she has her baby and decides to leave it to be raised by Mickey and Ian.
