1)Download and Install HI-Suite: consumer.huawei.com/en/suppor...
2)Unzip the P40 Pro Hack Package
3)Copy the Backup Folder (Huawei P40 Pro_2020...) to C:\Users\USER\Documents\HiSuite\backup
4)Start HI-Suite
5)Enable USB File Transfer on your phone from Dropdown
6)Wait for Hi-Suite to detect your phone
7)Go to settings on your phone, search for HDB and Allow HDB Access for HI-Suite
8)Enter the code for authorization from your phone in the HI-Suite Software
9)Let Hi-Suite install the Hi-Suite App for your phone
10)Press Restore in Hi-Suite on PC
11)Chose my Backup File (3 Apps)
12)Press restore
13)Enter Password ### techmagnetyoutub3 ###
13)Copy the 9 Files from the APK Folder from the zip to your internal storage of your phone

1)Open the LZPLAY APP (Purple G ICON) - Allow Admin and press blue bar to start download. Now close app by swiping up.
2)Go to file manager
3)Install APK 1 to 6
4)Go to settings on the phone and USERS&ACCOUNTS
5)Chose new Account and add Google Account
6)Login
7)Go to file Manager. Install APK 7
8)Check if playstore is ALIVE
9) GO to settings and apps - Search for Google Play services and uninstall
10)Go to file manager. Install APK 8
11)GO to settings and apps - Enable "show system apps" (3 Dots) and search for Google Services Framework
12)Clear Cache, Clear Data and Uninstall.
13)Go to file Manager. Install APK 7
14)Check Playstore is ALIVE.
15) GO to settings and apps - Search for Google Play services and uninstall
16)Go to file Manager. Install APK 9

If devices freezes during uninstall. Reboot phone. Try again to stop service and uninstall. Check if you followed the guide exactly!!!!!!!

I used this procedure and it works, for the new GAM for business accounts, do I have to repeat the entire process or just delete the old GAM and replace it with the new one?

This method no longer works. Pressing the G icon will keep telling you to enable your internet. Even with internet on, you cannot activate that app anymore.
Great thanks! Succeed at about the 10th time. Always stuck at step 14 and play store was not alive. Then I realize I have to wait for longer time (about 15 minutes including a few restarts) before it can get a new GSF ID. Once my phone got a new GSF ID everything just as perfect as the tutorial. :)
Is there any work around in adding google account after the procedure without reformating or re doing all the procedures?
It works, I had troubles in the last step, but listen to the video and be patient. I am very happy with my P40 Pro.
Finaly it works on a Matepad pro.
Actualy you've got to make sure that you close al the aps that are active in the background.

@TechMagnet thank you for tutorial, all went okay, just needed to replace your GAM apk with GAM 4.4.4 and log in via three dots site login, after that all good, I have just one question, can I do phone system updates now? Or is it gonna change and blocked all this google service and i need to start from beginning ?

Excellent tutorial...! Mate 30 pro recently bought...
The only thing I want to add is that I got stuck at google login (error contacting google servers...). I uninstalled Google Account manager included nad installed version 4.4.4 from apkmirror, after clearing data and cache of the original. I then pressed the 3 dots in the upper left corner when prompted to add google account and continued as shown on video. Zero trouble and notification errors!!!

@@don_obd You go to Settings>Apps>All Apps, choose Google Account Manager and force stop, clear cache and data. Then you uninstall it and install the 4.4.4
Followed all the steps and it worked just as described. After I copied everything from my old phone and installed chrome and maps I started getting the notifications again. Can I do anything other than reset and do the process again? Thanks

I noticed something on mine. The 5x lens does not actually activate when you select 5x sometimes. I am not sure why but I notice it jumping between the normal lens and the 5x one. Why is this so? Is it mine or is this a software thing? So it stays and 5x but then inside it decides to digitally crop and then sometimes it uses the 5x. Help. Mine is a P40 Pro.

You seems to be a guy that knows alot about the P40 pro. Have you tried the "moreapps" app? Can i download Facebook, youtube, spotify and messenger from there and there will be no problems using them? I contacted Huawei and the told me this but i'm not sure..

the purple G app, when opened says something which translated to there is a problem with your connection and refuses to work, was it patched?

from second time but works like a charm. always try from flash reset on the phone install this then install everything else and use phone clone.
Questions:
- no banking app should be not functioning because technically the device never gets rooted, right?
- is there a possibility (or likelyhood) that some google updates can break this process and have losing part of my data or having me going through all of this again?
- other than being aware about not adding new google accounts after the first setup stage in the guide is there anything else that differs from using any other android phone?
- would the device support OTA software updates still? I imagine so and that also probably this should not impact GMS, but does anyone have experience with this and can confirm they received some P40 Pro updates after installing GMS and everything worked fine?
I also want to know if banking apps will work when sideloaded. Seeing as I rely heavily on it.
@@talay2005 banking apps work fine I've not bad one that hasn't worked 9 confirmed working in UK. Couldn't try others because I don't bank with them.
the Biggest issue is the OTA of Google services and apps installed from the store. will they all happen?
seems like no one who uploads those kind of videos actually answer those questions.
what is the point of having all that running but after a day nothing is functioning like a real play store. Updates, Signing in, Notifications.
@@14onyx not sure what you mean by OTA but I've had 3 system updates so far from Huawei.
In regards to app updates in playstore just open the playstore once a week and install app updates simple.
Notifications not working from apps or Gmail is indeed an issue but how big an issue is up to you. I'll be honest I spent way less time on my phone now. My phone is primarily used for Google maps which works, Gmail which I open as and when I need too. CZcams and Netflix both work, Banking apps all work. Battery life is amazing is amazing as a result. If you feel the need to be connected 24/7 avoid this phone. If you want to regain some kind of control over how you use your phone then nothing beats it.
I can confirm that it still works as of 13th of June. Just follow every step carefully. The trick for me was to 'uncheck' sync this account when setting up in the Google account manager. Thanks for this! One question: I have a EMUI update, is that safe to install or do I have to start over again?

Could you check that it's still possible. I have a feeling the latest Google Services update has stopped it. I've tried following every step three times. I get to the point where i installed 008-GMS Core Mod B and as soon as I do, Google Play Store will not work. I just get an error and even if I try anyway, I still get loads of error messages...

oh BTW what I want by adding this .edu account is just to use gmail app to sync email, but the gmail app can only sync my other regular gmail accounts now.

@TechMagnet First of all, thank you so much for the nice video, worked like a charm on my P40 Pro. One thing i noticed is that if i used TwinApps, for example, a 2nd copy of WhatsApp, the annoying notifications come back lol, once the TwinApp is turned off, they go away, I guess it's because TwinApp creates a duplicate of the GMS stock apps right ?
So what can we do? For cloning what'sapp with factory clone-er?......

Looks like google released something, since as of a few hours, GAM (tried versions from 4.0.1-5.1) is not allowing people to sign in.

What about push notifications ? Still not working ? What about that ADB method, will that destroy any of this ?
Didn't try this but it is unlikely push notifications for any app uses Google bsckend push messaging notification service (Firebase) as long as the GSF ID is not GMS licensed/certified.
How about Gmail corporate account activation? I manage to use personal Gmail. However when add company Gmail account it ask to install device manager and do the activation via Web. Ended up unsuccessful. I'm using Huawei Mate 30 Pro.

I completed all the step and It seemed to work until I found my google voice can't sign in. I tried to repeat to install app 1-5 but I could no more finish install app 3 and 4. it dept telling me there were already app installed with newer version although I uninstalled everything with "google" in the name.

Managed to get through the whole tutorial and worked on my p40 plus. But one day later CZcams app has msg - CZcams won't run without Google play services which are not supported by your device. When I use the Gmail app, it auto shuts down as well... Help!

I do something wrong when i try the first time and after this i decided to delete all what i do and after i try so much time to install agtain and again but after i instal the APK 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 i got so much notfication and i cant connect to my google account and i'm blocked :D

Did not work using the pc but using the usb to restore the app with g logo worked but netflix does not work I can't find it on the google play store. I rememberd that I uninstalled the app with the g logo before trying to install netflix is that the problem? And youtube doesn't work in 1440p maximum 1080p.
