How to Install Google Mobile Services on the Huawei P40 Pro - EASY!

- A step by step guide on how to install the Google Play Store and Google Mobile Services on the Huawei P40 Pro, Huawei P40 Pro Plus, etc.

Download the Zip file to your computer and copy it as it is to the USB Stick. You will have to plug in the USB stick to your Huawei Phone to complete the installation.
Any USB Stick, Flash Drive or SD card with an adapter will work for this installation.
To install Google Play on Huawei p40 Pro you have to follow all the steps in this video. If you skip a step you will have to start all over again. All the Google Apps like CZcams, Maps, Google Photos, Google Drive work on both the P40 Pro and P40 Pro Plus.

But with P40 Pro u have to sign in to Huawei I'd, can't skip that part after reset, , same goes with Samsung phones 🙄🙄.
But non the less, I logged in and did all your steps. And it works fine with me.. 3rd time 😁😉

Huawei and Google officially requests all user with huawei devices to never install gms in your devices as it is against terms and conditions and USA has banned huawei from using Google services. By installing.. You will be doing something against an international ban.. So from now if your device gets any problems.. Huawei will not be responsive for it especially when your device security is compromised.

Thank you for sharing your 2 part videos on installing google services into my wife's P40 Pro. I really appreciate it. I only ran into one issue where I sign in to a Google account and the sign-in page was blank. To those who also encountered a similar issue as I did just have to set back the time and date to the current date under setting and you will be able to view the Google sign-in page. :)

Hi Alex, is the manual installed Play Store show as Play Protect certified under the setting?
I had error The deivce isnt PlayPortect certified. tried to restart. open close play store still having issue to make play store works. Any advice? Thanks

you would need to install a different launcher to make the phone look like a pixel phone

Thank you so much for this video! Some helpful tips guys, remember to take out your sim first and reset your phone. Once your phone turns on, change the system time/date to two years prior (2018) before installing apps 1 ~ 6, then change date back to present before running the yellow icon app. If you keep getting the error notifications when you complete the last steps my best recommendation is to repeat from 7:42 over and over again or even from the beginning - I tried about 8 times :)

You basically have to uninstall the google play services from settings/apps and install it again from the USB drive. If it doesn't work after you try 2-3 times you may want to start all over again with a factory reset

Sometimes you have to do it 4-5 times. Or you can just turn off the notifications for that app and should be fine
I tried it 8x already the notification keeps popping up! Annoying!
Guys you can turn off the notifications for the play store in the settings - apps - apps - play store - notifications, also for the other services if needed

redo it from the begining, I tried twice, it works without any notifications.
For that i retryied from the step 3, three times
Google play store keeps asking me ti sign in and when I do, it's always an error page: "Could'nt sign in" "There was a problem communicating with Google servers. Try again later.

Hi, in the first folder when backing up from usb device, there is no option the backup thus i cant see the app with G logo.
I did this a couple months ago on my P40 Pro, very similar method. Only annoying thing is I don't get Gmail notifications 😡 huaweis email app is rubbish and Outlook app is rubbish too but nevermind!

Redskull ye I've actually had two updates since and it's been fine, must admit though I've been very nervous when updating it 😂 I feel like it's only a matter of time before it breaks GMS 😂 let's hope not! 🤞

@@RedskullPro I regret updating my Mate30pro to EMUI 10.1 coz I can't open multi screen with the new style. Not sure if it's because I installed GMS (Google Mobile Service)... Damn it, now I have to reset my phone & reinstall GMS again & never updating again.

Hi Redskull, 1st off great video, nice step by step guides. After a few tries i finally got the play store open both times and to error messages before restart. Although after power off and usb remove and power on the messages started again instantly. I did every single step exactly as on your video, only issues after restart. I can install all the apps i want but they have some kind of glitch all of them. Its like 95% there but not quite. Can there be just a last small fix to get the error msgs gone?
