Man this isn't once again realistic...you're pairing the r7 5800x3d with a 2060...still, you will not get such performance with that card, this is the performance you grt with a 1080ti in medium/high settings definitely not the 2060.
I'm going to explain:
If you have a CPU like a ryzen 5 3600 which is undoubtedly more adequate for a 2060 than the 5800X3D, it will be CPU bound most of the time, GPU usage won't be maxed out so what we would see is not the GPU performance. It's what the CPU can do, so pairing the same CPU with for example an RTX 2080Ti would get exactly the same results (with even lower GPU usage).
Now if you remove the CPU bottleneck in the system, with a 5800X3D in this case, both the 2060 and 2080Ti will run at 99% usage, giving us exactly what each card can do in this game, when not CPU bound.
Testing a game with a CPU bottleneck means that you're actually testing the CPU performance, GPU won't matter then (as long as it's strong enough to make it CPU bound). Your system is only as strong as its weakest component.
That's why in my CPU tests I use an overkill GPU, to make sure that the CPU is the limiting factor of performance 100% of the time.
Hope this helps you and others understand how CPU bottlenecks work!
I'll pin this :)
@@zWORMzGaming what he meant is, there is still a 5-10% difference in FPS between a 5800X3D and a 3600. No matter if it's being fully used or not. It's the way games are optimized, and since the 5800X3D provides faster individual cores, you'll see a difference in FPS.
@@zWORMzGaming that's why you need to pair with medium end cpu and gpu, people just want to know the fps number even if it's producing bottlenecking, no one really care if it's 100% usage all the time, because no one really built pc like this in reality
You are the one that doesn't understand this video's relevance, because you hang out on r/pcmr and dont realize that 99 percent of the regurgitated information given out there is biased, wrong, or just plain stupid. When\If PC gaming dies, r/pcmr will be one of the PRIMARY reasons, and I will make it my life's goal to let everyone know this fact!
Congrats on 400K! I really enjoy your benchmarks and commentary :D
Glad you enjoyed your vacation :).
Nice to see you back. This game looks amazing, even on 20xx series cards :)
i like Palit they make efficient fins for GPUs. On the 30 Series, they did a fantastic job and became alongside MSI one of my favorite coolers. Very cool GPUs literally and figuratively.
Congrats on 400k love your videos very informative and entertaining as well
Thank you very much 🥰
Congrats on the 400k, legend! Well deserved achievement!
Congrats on 400K! I'm playing this game on a 12400F and RTX 3060, and really enjoying it.
Thank you 😃❤️
Do your FPS stay above 60 at all times? I'm curious about that CPU's performance
@@zWORMzGaming Yes I'm getting 60+ all of the time at 1200p high settings with DLSS. I have a 16:10 display, so that's why I use 1200p.
Ah I'm very interested in this game and have pretty much the same specs, thanks for sharing info.
I try to play most games on 1440p though cus of my monitor.
And also congrats Kryzzp! You'll get 500k in 2023!
@@lukasgroot 1440p might be a tad too high for high settings, as I just barely get 60 at 1200p. it was getting down to 64-65fps sometimes, so I think 1440p will go below 60. Hopefully there will be better CPU optimization in the future.
congrats on 400k, the legend is bound to reach 1 million
Congratulations on the 400k subscribers my friend, congratulations on your effort and dedication.
Thank you very much 🥰
Congrats on 400k, well deserved

@@zWORMzGaming Keep up with the awesome videos/benchmarks!

congrats for 400K :)), u deserve a lot more, love u
Thank you 😃🥰
Bom saber que posso ajudar!
Já agora, qual foi o PC que compraste? :D
I just noticed you hit 400k and congrats! I one hundred percent agree that you deserve much more and hopefully get more in the future!
Also if you could, can you test out the 1070 in 2023? I'd appreciate it!
Thank you very much!
A 1070 video will definitely come this year, it's one of the few, popular GPUs I don't have yet :)
just swaped from ryzen 7 2700x to ryzen 7 5800x3D with 2060, huge difference. SOTF runs so smooth now. thx for the video!
great like always. and welcome back btw glad to have u back here, did u had fun?:)
congrats for 400K :)), u deserve a lot more, love u
Thank you Beuri! 😃🥰❤️
Congrats on 400k!
Thank you 😃🥰
thanks for the benchmarks, was looking to buy one and it looks like a solid card.
Get the 2060 super instead
I'm having a bit of trouble to get stable 60 fps, I normally go around 55 - 65 fps since I have a really old cpu (I'm bottlenecked with a i5-8400 using a rtx 3060ti.. yeah..) but I'll upgrade it asap. Amazing video as always man! Absolutely love your videos they are seriously useful and also entertaining, also congrats for the 400k!
Your cpu is probably bottle necking hard. I have an even older generation, 7700k 4 cores 8 threads with a 3080ti… yea heavily bottlenecked. I think I saw that my cpu ran at pretty much 100% with my gpu at 80% on ultra. Cant keep up.
@@harrys2331 Yeah same... I don't know why but I feel a bit indisposed to change the cpu due to the need to change the motherboard too and that is a pain to do, I love to build a pc but besides it would be very expensive, I also feel like I could get over the lack of fps if I'm completely honest.
@@apache6111 yup. And in every other game these kind of old cpu fast gpu setups work.
Pls try the max settings from next time in games , only testing in 1080p would also be good . Keep up the good work 👍
Thank you so much
CONGRATS ON 400K!!!!!
Thank you 😃
first of all congrats on hitting 400K ! subs on youtube El kryzzpo
love your series on sons of the forest but when will you test AMD cards in this game
btw love your content bro keep up the good work
Thank you 😃🥰
Yes I will test AMD cards ;)
@@zWORMzGaming HOLY SHIT!🙀🤯 i didnt expect you to reply to my comment
love you bro 😻
I have the same gpu as what you are using but mine paired with Ryzen 3 3100, I'm playing it in 1080p monitor with high settings plus DLSS quality getting 60 fps! This card is still a beast for me having a budget gaming pc!
Here we go, vega 56/64 will be tested tomorrow, I'm looking forward to test of this super card 😊

Perfect
It IS native 4k! DLSS is a reconstructive technique. In a general sense it IS pulling data for rendering from alternative sources (frame buffers, provided motion vectors, etc). It was only a matter of time before something like this was going to happen (talked about this in 2008). This is why it can fundamentally look "better than native," but also worse.
You can tell the game is terribly optimized when the 5800x3d spikes to 90%
Well. if u compare it to Hogwarts Legacy, it's top notch
@@yunglorn No, I can tell you right now that it truly isn't, my RX 580 + Ryzen 5 2600 can handle 60FPS in Hogwarts Legacy at medium, meanwhile the only time I can get 50+FPS is in caves.
still runs smoother lol
@@OneDumbOrangeCat My rig can handle stable 60-70 fps in Sons of the forest and in Hogwarts legacy it's like 20-110 FPS (constant stuttering), average around 70, so really nice XD. I prefer stable framerate with no stuttering rather than constant lagging and FPS spikes up and down
@@yunglorn That's... Surprising. For me it's the exact opposite way around.
Thank you❤
🥰👌
This game looks beautiful at 4K ngl
Nice!!! :))
You're my favorite person 🤩🤩
1k th like❤️
Honestly for me one thing that make drop from 60fps annoying is when you lock the fps to 60 but the drop from 60 also causing stutter issues or basically frame time spikes.
Will you do a 400k special? I really hope you do, the previous ones were great.
Probably not since I just got back from vacation and those videos take a while to make.
500K will be a big one though :)
if u still remember me i hope to be the car you drive on every car you drive every car you drive on gta 5 should be redman luv ur videos btw
siiiuu
I love your videos
It feels illegal to be this early.
congrats on 400k!!! and btw how do u got so low temps on the gpu, i usually get around 75-80 when playing this game ( dual fan)
Thank you!
Good airflow and low room temperature :)
Congrats on 400K, like AMD 5800x3d
Thank you 😃
it seems on solo with my i7 8700k 3060 ti i can get 60fps on ultra 1440p most of the time but a lot of stuttering but on multiplayer my fps vanishes no settings was good enough to stay above 60 even ultra low i was getting 40 most of the time i even tried 1 of my 16 gb of ram sticks because that is my fastest 3200mhz but the game kept crashing because it ran out of ram when it loaded and ate up 20gb of my ssd page file
Can you try out RX 6600 GPU too? It works nicely on my PC with high settings but I couldn't use FSR 1.0 effectively. It turns the game into a mud pile.
I was just going to look for this game with my graphics card and you upload this video ✌¯\_(ツ)_/¯👍
Good timing! Just got back from vacation :)
I have an i7 6th gen, how much CPU bound will i be?. How many less fps will i get
i got the super and it runs at 30 fps i have a Ryazan 3 what should i upgrade
Bro i dont get it i have a rtx 2060 super and a amd ryzen 7 and i cant get this gane to run at 60fps what should i do
Was the Texture Resolution Setting on Half actually on purpose the whole Time or which is the default Setting ?
Ps: Congrats on your 400k Subs. I really enjoy watching your Vids and so are many more People !
On purpose, I saw full vram usage when set to full and more stuttering.
Thank you 😃🥰
Congrats for 400k

@@zWORMzGaming gtx titan sunday ?
@@hamidogamer Vega 56/64
I played the game on 3700x and 6700 xt on 40 fps in multiplayer, cause multiplayer fps is broken sadly.
Will u do 6750xt review?
We want intel hd 2000 or 3000 benchmark video again
This game is so well balanced one can beat it to the end game within a hour just with a few sticks and brain damage.
I am running I7 6700k and 3060 12gb on 3840x1080 so basically 1440p but still more pixels and I am on 40s to 50s on medium/high, that cpu is hella big bottleneck I HAVE to do some overclocking
Test GPU's at winter time. I've noticed that winter have the lowest performance.
I'm running this with a i7 7700 with a mix of medium/high settings, full res textures and some manual optimisations, i can run this almost 60fps all of the time
Good to know!
Well done on 400k subs I'm on RTX 3060 i5 10500h 16 gb ram and yes its gaming laptop gigabyte g5
Thank you!
Are you playing this game? How is it performing?
@@zWORMzGaming It was sturring abit but it smoothed out for me i was on high settings 1080p and was getting 82-123fps did see some frame drops but was not bad
if u have a 1440p monitor would u play
at 1440p dlss on Quality (1080p)
or at 4k (with dsr) and dlss performance (1080p)
in AAA games as u said in 1 of ur videos that higher resolutions look good even if u have a lower resolution monitor ??
If you have the horsepower go with DSR or DLDLSS
@@zWORMzGaming yah it like 2 or 4 times mxaa
did you test a 1070 on this game? if u havent i really want to know if it can run it. i have a dual asus 1070 and dont have the game but still want to know!
I don't have a 1070 but the game ran on a 1650 and 1060, so it'll run on the 1070 as well :)
The rtx 2060 has the same FPS in this Game as my rx 6750 xt . Is it CPU bound ? I have a Ryzen 5 5600 x
Yes it is!
Pls help me zwz what motherboard should I use for 1650ti, Ryzen5
1650ti is a laptop GPU!
For a 1650, everything will do just fine, I'd go with a cheap b450
That's why i bought rtx 2060 12gb 🔥
Can you test RX 580 ?
Please tell me i can't play Hogwarts lagacy 60 fps on ryzen 9 3900x and rtx 3060 ti
You can, it's gonna drop sometimes though
Please review rtx 2070 super
I need help whenever I play the game with my 3060 m gpu is at like 60 percent usage and i am getting like 40-50 frames on medium settings if anyone knows a fix help would be greatly appreciated
What's the processor you have? You need to have at least i5 10400f or ryzen 5 3600 to get 60 frames per second
What the program you use for test fps in games?
MSI afterburner and RTSS
Can you do a review of the gtx 1070?
I don't have one, but probably this year
I have a 1060 6gb and the game runs pretty bad. Is there a dlss function for me? I cant find it but i really want better fps😅
Only RTX GPUs have DLSS
pls test a igpu like vega 8 or vega 7
I just can't believe that my i5 10400 and rx 6600 xt can't maintain 60 fps on the lowest settings lmao, this is outrageous
we would like to C the card on the last of Vram of us part 1👍
Pls also do some Rtx 4090 paired with I5 i5-13600K at 1440p & 4k 🙏
Very interesting Id like to know if a an I5 could follow an Rtx 4090 at 1440p & 4K could be interesting❤🌹
Amd gpu or invidia gpu?
Which is better🙆♂️?
intel
please do the rx 580 8gb xfx
I’m playing the game on rtx 2070 and i’m getting the same fps maybe 2 3 more . It could be the cpu , because I’m using the i7 8700k
I play on high settings with gtx 1060 6gb +oc and i7 4790k. How you guys have problems with 2060 and etc cards... wtf?
Can you please drive planes in gta 5 in your next videos
I finaly said goodbye to my gtx 1060 6gb couse i think i made a very good deal on a rtx 2060 6gb from evga its the ko model i paid 137€ for her so far its a very good performer.
Great deal indeed!

I use 140mbps recording and render at 4K 120mbps.
It's the CZcams compression
I’m on i5 12400f and Gtx 1650 4g GDDR6 model and i get the same fps then the 2060

I wonder if i like over sharpended look in my games because i crank up the DLSS sharppening slider a little bit. I just do it enough to where i like it. If it's to over sharpened then i turn it down. So hey i guess it's not over sharpened to me if you think about it. Because if it is i just turn it down like i said. 🙃
1050ti plz
Which DLSS version is in this game? You can update DLSS .dll file to 3.11 or at least 2.5.1. Since 2.5.1, Image quality (its very noticable in ultra performance mode) is much better, and DLSS Sharpening is disabled by default, so in-game slider for DLSS Sharpness just not working, because sharpening is disabled. So in 2.5.1 you shouldn't have any of sharpening artifacts. Here: /watch?v=h2j93dA8oio is very good comparison in RDR2 DLSS 2.4 vs 2.5.1 in ultra performance mode. Some games still uses even older, DLSS 2.3. RDR2 use DLSS 2.2 by default, which is much worse than 2.5.1. So upgrading DLSS to 2.5.1 or newer versions is really worth.
The CPU's utilization jump from 30% to 80% in just a second 🤔 That means the game has a poor optimized.

hihi can you do some rx 5600 xt pls
This game is a CPU killer :(
Yup!
I'm playing this game on my 6800 and I cannot tell u what it is but none of the nvidia cards look as good to me, I also noticed that back when I had both 3080 and 6800xt, and no its not because I am a fanboy, I have had nvidia cards for years and now recently amd.
And yes before anyone asks I enables full rgb setting in nvidia control panel, I just think nvidia looks bland inn comparison.
I think the color science of the AMD cards are different, you can dial it manually tho
I also think the Nvidia default looks washed so I play around with Nvidia's control panel, otherwise it looks awful
@@danielsgrunge hit the read more on my comment I already did all that, amds colors are just better imo, when I put my 3080 in after swapping out my 6800xt I put my 6800xt right back in sold the 3080.
I noticed that as well, every time I install AMD GPUs the colors pop more. It's not accurate though, but it's more vibrant.
If I set it to limited rgb it looks the same as Nvidia
Listen here guys RX 6600 or a RTX 2060 ?

No
Hell no. Please stay away from 3050, it's just a 2050 really.
