- Mist filters are a must for some cinematographers. These allow that cinematic film look and create nice soft roll blooming effect from the highlights and can make your footage look much better and create more atmosphere.
Freewell have created these mist filters with a variable neutral density in one! This makes it much more convenient when you are wanting to shoot wide open on high key lighting situations.

Really nice
If you already have the regular VND filters, buy a Freewell magnetic mist filter. That way you can mount your VND on top of the magnetic mist filter and transform your VND to a magnetic VND filter :)
Was never sold because they're usually pretty expensive, might give these ones a crack though. Jelly you got to play with the new Sony. Great video bro!

can u shoot in full auto with slog? or able to do run n gun stuff with slog without having to worrry bout exposing 1.7?+
You can shoot full auto but I never do. The cameras just don’t exposure how it should and it is too unpredictable
200+ for a piece od glas and we are calling it cheap...

Yeah right! I know for what we get I can see how it does seem overpriced. I guess the major pro is that it is in built with a variable ND 🤷🏽♂️
