Green is a color associated with nature. The green guy is running. This is a game about racing trucks. Trucks are responsible for a large ammount of carbon emissions. With all this information we can conclude that the green guy is a subtle yet masterful reference to global warming and how nature, if personified, would try to run from us humans and our carbon emitting trucks. The glitch that allows players to move at incredible speeds by moving the vehicle backwards is a reference to the idea that we should go back to before the times where nature was destroyed and humans were doomed. The green guy in Big Rigs Over the Road Racing is an extraterrestrial from a distant planet.
