Big Rigs - Maximum Truck Speed: 12.3 Undecillion MPH

  • What the truck sounds like while driving in reverse: • Sound of Driving In Re...
    Believe it or not, the truck's speed DOES cap eventually. The truck's speed can go up to 12.3 Undecillion MPH in reverse. After that the speed will reach a value of -001.$, and will light up every checkpoint and bring up the "YOU'RE WINNER!" message.
    If you're wondering, an Undecillion is a 1 followed by 36 zeros, or:
    1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000
    I used Bandicam because at the time, I didn't know how to run the game in windowed mode and it was the only capture software I found at the time that could easily record fullscreen games without a short recording time limit, and I was willing to put up with the watermark since it was at the top of the screen and not in the way of anything.

    I wanted some perspective as to just how fast that really was, so I tried to calculate at that speed how long it would take to travel the diameter of the Milky Way galaxy, only to find that the number was so small it can practically be said to not even exist. So, I widened the distance to being from here to the Andromeda galaxy, and this time found the number was still so small that I wasn't actually able to measure it in any meaningful way. Frustrated, I decided to go all out and calculate the distance from end-to-end of the observable universe. If I did the math right, traveling at the speed of 12.3 undecillion mph, you would be able to traverse the diameter of the entire known universe in approximately 0.65 seconds.
    You're winner.

    • @tomhuddleston1850
      @tomhuddleston1850 Před 6 lety +162

      It's going way faster than warp 10. This truck is the fastest thing in fiction. Essentially what happens in the game is that when it hits that much speed, the nearly infinite sandbox (black void outside the real map) and the checkpoints are all instantly cleared at once because the truck has become so rapid it exists everywhere at once lol. At 10 undecellion MPH the truck could explore the entire universe 60 billion times in one second. It could reach the edge of the universe (45 billion light year distance) in a time measurement not quite understood by humans. This would happen in real life if we were to somehow break lightspeed, a new universe would be created.
      The truck going that fast would gain some unique powers. Omnipresence: the ability to be anywhere and nowhere at the same time or multiple places at once, time travel, universal travel, phasing through objects. Mutliversal destruction. Universal Creation. Ignores gravity and laws of physics on a universal scale at that speed.
      But another ability the truck has that everyone forgets, is that it can instantly come to a stop the minute the driver comes off the gas. Going from 12 undecllion MPH to 0 instantly would unleash such a stupid amount of energy that it would probably destroy our universe several hundred thousand times over.
      So yeah, it's way faster than warp 10. Even the flash can't do shit to this truck, with his 1 attosecond reaction time feat. Bare in mind, 12 attoseconds is the smallest amount of time humanity can measure. The flash can react in less than one. In one attoseconds, the truck has traveled 581 light years of distance. It is, without a doubt, the fastest thing ever devised.

    Not only can this thing move at 12.3 Undecillion MPH, but you can also stop the big rig at any point and it will be perfectly fine. It can withstand the forces being exerted on it all the way up to this speed, and likely higher. Not only would this vehicle explore the entirety of the universe within seconds, it would also destroy every single fucking particle of matter that it touched due to the un-fucking-believable amount of force and friction that it suddenly introduces to an environment. The ripples of power being exerted as it enters any planet's atmosphere would rip the planet into atomic particles and cause explosions that would end entire galaxies. This is a more powerful WMD than anything that we have ever been able to dream of, and all it took was a motherfucking big rig.

      Not quite. The diameter of the universe is roughly 93 billion light years. To put that in perspective, the distance to the Sun is 8 light minutes. The Big Rig travels at 18.3 octillion times the speed of light, according to a Redditor's calculations. It takes a Big Rig 163 picoseconds to travel the entire universe, meaning that every second, the Big Rig travels that distance 6 billion times. If the truck just randomly whizzes around the universe at that speed, it would hit all the checkpoints in seconds, not accounting for the times it hit the checkpoints before reaching top speed.
      note: I like how Wolfram Alpha added a little note to the calculation result "neglecting relativistic effects"

      @Lonech Před 8 lety +158

      I mean, you wouldn't be able to because you wouldn't even see it, every atom within your body would be accelerated to the speed of light and beyond as they are torn to the smallest bits of fundamental units. This truck would rip apart the atmosphere and vaporize the planet with its inertia (at this point, it would have no mass at all, but photons can still transfer energy into a material, and thus change its inertia, so why not this?). It would traverse the entire known universe faster than I could put a period down in this sentence, sending itself into the void of the unknown after completely atomizing anything and everything in its path. A completely incomprehensible gravitational wave will rip apart the universe, but only propagating at the speed of light (which gives everyone who hasn't been completely quarked into nothing some time to react before every exaton explosion caused by the truck tearing through everything in its path wipes every piece of their existences from space-time).
      I don't know if the truck turned around to rip into the universe again, but it was doomed once the truck became a universe destroyer. If the multi-verse is real, then it's already fucked as every adjacent and parallel universe collapses from the sheer energy of the truck. That truck probably has more energy than this universe by a factor of 1,000,000 but I haven't done the math for it yet.

    • @JaftenLKA
      @JaftenLKA Před 10 lety +218

      InboardPG Well, assuming the observable universe is a sphere, it has a diameter of over 92 billion light years, a circumference of over 289 billion lightyears, a planar area of over 6.6 sextillion square light years, and a volume of over 400 nonillion cubic light years. At 12.3 undecillion MPH (18.3 octillion times light speed) you could cross the diameter of the observable universe in under 160 picoseconds and travel the circumference in under 500 picoseconds. The area and volume are the tricky parts, but I think I have a solution for the area at least; if you were to cross the diameter then travel along the circumference for the equivalent of one millionth of a degree, repeating this process until you made a full 360 degree turn, it would take less than 57 milliseconds. If you take the previous result and every time a cycle was completed rotate by one-millionth of a degree along the z-axis circumference and repeat it, it would take you slightly over 237 days to complete a round trip of the z-axis circumference.

    According to my calculations and calculator and strictly going by Newtonian physics, the amount of force that truck (which averages at about 50,000 kg according to Wikipedia) would exert on an object (rounding the time it took to come to a complete stop at 1x10^-20 seconds) is 2.2352 x10^60 newtons of force. An atomic bomb exsplosion (according to Wikipedia) exerts 8x10^7 newtons of force. This means that the exertion of force by that truck (going strictly by newtonian physics, ignoring relativity all together) would be approximately 2.794x10^52 times more powerful then a nuclear warhead exsplosion. And if you factored relitivity in to this things start getting bizarre. This game has glitched its way far beyond our universe's physical laws.

    This Big Rig game is quite possible the most destructive and frightening thing ever to be conceived by mankind. 12.3 Undecillion MPH (or 12.3x10^36 MPH) is 2.08x10^24 Light-years per hour. The truck would be traversing the width of the our entire universe 21.1 Billion times per second. The amount of energy required to traverse at those speeds (if it where even possible) the truck would literally be fueled by BigBangs and as it would pass through our universe it would tear all matter into a super heated plasma soup before annihilating it into pure energy. The Big rig would would also destroy the very fabric of space-time, and if you believe in the multi-verse theory, it would then pass over to the next universe and destroy that one as well.

    Even more amazingly, this truck just instantly stops without so much of a screech if you take your finger off the reverse key at any point in time! Where did all the inertia go? Did the built up momentum just magically... disappear into thin air? Where does all the energy go? Did this truck just create, then simultaneously destroy energy all at once?! There's no sound or further movement when you stop accelerating, so that means the energy wasn't even converted! This truck has broken the law of conservation of energy simply by stopping!
    Ladies and Gents, could this be our first glimpses of the time-stream?!
