Him following Bee from Cybertron makes sense, could be that he followed the trajectory of the pod like you said and then he arrived before bumblebee and scanned his alt mode to blend in and scan the planet for him, once bee showed up he homed in on his location

The dead characters can be reused if they make a cybertron movie where we see triple chasing blitzwing and a g1 movie megatron and more new and old characters.
I like to see it as a similar case with how IDW did with Tankor and Breakdown, just two very different characters with little in common sharing the same name

I thought I heard Travis Knight come out and say that it was just a live action take on the classic seeker design. Then maybe Hasbro (wanting to protect their assets and not lose the copyright to any good names) just named him Blitzwing. Granted, it's a cool name and I feel that it fits the guy fine, even if it's not a G1 stlye Blitzwing. That is to say, I'd love to actually see a Blitzwing that looks like him and is actually called Blitzwing on screen.

How come the idea of multiple Transformers with the same (sounding) name is not considered? There are millions of Transformers scattered throughout the galaxy. With names like Pipes, Swerve, Groove, Prowl, Gears, Drift, Ratchet, Hoist, Blades, Thrust, Frenzy, Rumble, Slipstream, Shrapnel, Hook, Octane and many other (seemingly) mundane names, why wouldn't two or more Transformers have the same name but just be apart from each other or be in the shadow of a more famous Transformer? We also know Transformers can change their names easily. Bee didn't seem to resist the name Bumblebee. Megatron named himself after a Prime.
My theory: Before the great war,Blitzwing was a member of the seekers from cybertronian space fleet.when the war starts,most of the space fleet members joined the Decepticons including Blitzwing.then some Decepticon officer ordered the Decepticon space fleet to take part in the war for cybertron.but in the middle of the journey,their mission changes.realizing that Optimus Prime and the remaining Autobot rebels leaving Cybertron,now the Decepticon space fleet have a mission to hunt them down.that's all my theory(sorry for bad english)

I remember watching a video by Diamond Bolt on explaining the Aligned continuity of Transformers,, he said it was all connected by Splinter timelines, and I think that can apply to the movieverse, so each movie does have a different continuity, but still connects to each other and probably other media.
Now that they use the reshoots to turn this film into a preboot with an open ending to turn the movie as the start of a new movie series. To explain Blitzwing in this preboot now that the transformers history storyline got retconned. It’s all up to our imaginations and theories. My theory is that Starscream commanded him to chase after Bee and follow him to Earth. He gets his own special pod. Blitz fast paces Bee in the pod race, Arrives to Earth before bumblebee does. Quickly scans a jet and waits for B-127’s signal and arrival which sets up their fight sequence. That’s my answer for the preboot version of this movie.
In the Cybertron scenes, I noticed that some of the background seekers resembled Blitzwing. But I'm sure if they are Bliztwing, they could resemble Ramjet as well.

I think Blitzwing was in the Cyberton scene for a brief moment. When Bumblebee knocks over a decepticon by kicking a decapitated decepticon head at him. I think that the decepticon that gets knocked over is Blitzwing. This would make sense for how he finds Bumblebee in the final cut as he sees his pod leave so he pursues it and attempts to kill Bumblebee on Earth
They REALLY shouldn't have killed off Blitzwing like that. Have him rip that rocket out at the last second and throw it to the side or some shit and just take a shot to the chest. Sure he'd be heavily damaged, but it would make his connection to Bee all the more interesting, after being humiliated twice. Then he meets up with Dropkick and Shatter, and as they scan their jet/helicopter modes, he scans a tank, becoming a triple changer like them. The events of the movie play out, up until Shatter's death. After Charlie rescues Bee we see one final shot of Blitzwing, swearing he would return, and this time with an army bigger than they could ever imagine. Then Bumblebee Movie 2 comes, the Decepticons all on Earth, Blitzwing among them with a new white and purple color scheme...
My theory : During the War For Cybertron, once Megatron ordered Soundwave to send Laserbeak to Iacon to learn about the plans of the Autobot Resistance . Megatron learned about Optimus Prime's Exodus plans but Megatron had no idea which planets were targeted by the Autobots . So Megatron ordered Shockwave to begin Project : Regenesis . Shockwave launched rockets filled with tones of Energon to different corners of the galaxy to fill planets with Energon so the troops Megatron send could sustain themselves with Energon . One of these troops was Blitzwing. One of the Energon filled planets was Earth and also Optimus Prime's main target planet was Earth and Prime sent Bumblebee to Earth to establish a base of operations and defend the planet from any Decepticon attack . Basically Blitzwing was at the wrong place in the wrong time . Happy accidents .

I saw both versions and you were right about them being on earth but (Spoiler) Only look if you want to Early screening in the beginning there is a dialog by the voice of bumblebee
The current tank model is not blitzing though it's megatron look at the toy line and you will see that right away, second Mabie blitz wing was originally part of the Micheal bay continuity but he traveled back in time to find bumble bee and capture him for megatron.
In the original opening of Bumblebee, you do not have to explain how did Blitzwing find Bumblebee on Earth. Because they were already on earth in the original opening.

I wanted blitzwing to look like his g1 version, in the early production of tf4 he was gonna buy it didn't happen, early production of tf5 he was gonna appear but he didn't, in the future transformers series i want blitzwing to appear but looking like his g1 version, he does get killed by bumblebee, but then gets revived by shockwave, then he gets killed by bumblebee again and doesn't come back online
Was blitzwing not gold and purple? Considering how they kept all the other transformers close to their G1 form seems a bit weird they would completely change just one of them.

can you explain how the cybertron scence the decepticons have earth vehicle modes if they had not visited earth. how would the seekers know to be earth jets???? or prime in his G1 truck mode.
They were not actually in their earth mode, thats just how they look, if you look closely, they dont actually have real vehicle parts, but are distributed exaclty like the earth mode parts, because the only things that change are the alt mode parts
That is not the real Blitzwing like in the 2007 movie Brawl was called Devastater so maybe in the sequal for the Bumblebee movie the *REAL* Blitzwing will make his apperance with his G1 colours and ALT modes along with a Seeker Armada and Decepticon Tank army to attack Earth and the last remaining Autobots
It's easy to explain, the comic and the WW2 scene in TLk are canon. At some stage Bumblebee returned to Cybertron and Blitzwing stayed on earth. Then when Bumblebee returns to Earth he is tracked down by his old enemy.
Bumblebee had no prior knowledge of Earth before the Bumblebee movie took place. He literally just learned of it's existence from Optimus before he left Cybertron

Plus the Autobots scattered across the Universe. I’m sure they have descoved many worlds Optimus pointing one out is not confirmation that they haven’t been there before. Plus who’s to say that scene comes before Bumblebee lands on earth in 1987. Think about it. Bumblebee leaves in a pod and when he lands there is no pod in sight. That opening scene could easily be before he lands the first time in WW2.

I have a theory on how Blitzwing arrived on Earth: Blitzwing is actually Starscream, and he changed his name so Megatron wouldn’t find out. He arrived on Earth around the 1960’s, when the F-4 was popular. He scanned an F-4 flown by Duke Mitchell, which ended up causing the events of Top Gun. When he was killed by Bumblebee, he may have not actually died. Since he is Starscream, he might be immortal like in G1 or Animated. Then the events of the 2007 movie happen.

The BB movie is still garbage. Why is Dumblebee a roided out Con slayer over six movies. Cliffjumper finally gets into a movie and gets the "prime" treatment. As far as I'm concerned Travis Knight tried to suck in fans of the OG transformers with the Cybertron scene then flipped it to Bayverse mode. Is he starscream, is he Blitzwing? At this point Id like to see Cliffjumper and Bumblebee switched. Let BB die, hopefully not to come back ever! I would still take issue with how easily Seekerblitzscream was wrote off but at least it would be a new face(Cliffjumper) the OG fans of TFs would love too see get some screen time.
In all honesty this for me was the worst transformers movie, basically because the plot made no sense and i had questions like this, so thanks for clearing up one of my plot questions. Still mot a fan of this film, but clearing up that helped. I have more questions if someone could answer them.
Bumblebee version of blizwing is better then g1 and stop calling him Ramjet g1 blizwing isn't a great charter or design because he looks too weak and blocky being a triple changer making him not a triple changer and making him a f4 phantom is awesome.

Early screening in the beginning there is a dialog by the voice of bumblebee
The current tank model is not blitzing though it's megatron look at the toy line and you will see that right away, second Mabie blitz wing was originally part of the Micheal bay continuity but he traveled back in time to find bumble bee and capture him for megatron.
In the original opening of Bumblebee, you do not have to explain how did Blitzwing find Bumblebee on Earth. Because they were already on earth in the original opening.
I thought Blitzwing was the seeker that Bumblebee kicked the head into and that's why he held a grudge. That Seeker and Blitzwing were the same color.

COOL G RAPP analysis but from what I'm singing they just can't stick for what they got I feel Blitzwinger original design look much better then the one on the Bumblebee movie, also I think doing the production they'll flip with a lot of ideas and don't know which to go with so they just put anything out

I wanted blitzwing to look like his g1 version, in the early production of tf4 he was gonna buy it didn't happen, early production of tf5 he was gonna appear but he didn't, in the future transformers series i want blitzwing to appear but looking like his g1 version, he does get killed by bumblebee, but then gets revived by shockwave, then he gets killed by bumblebee again and doesn't come back online
Was blitzwing not gold and purple? Considering how they kept all the other transformers close to their G1 form seems a bit weird they would completely change just one of them.
They really just name slapped him so there was a name. Personally i hope they give us a proper blitzwing and feel this seeker shouldve been called Skyquake or as you said Ramjet.

can you explain how the cybertron scence the decepticons have earth vehicle modes if they had not visited earth. how would the seekers know to be earth jets???? or prime in his G1 truck mode.

They were not actually in their earth mode, thats just how they look, if you look closely, they dont actually have real vehicle parts, but are distributed exaclty like the earth mode parts, because the only things that change are the alt mode parts

That is not the real Blitzwing like in the 2007 movie Brawl was called Devastater so maybe in the sequal for the Bumblebee movie the *REAL* Blitzwing will make his apperance with his G1 colours and ALT modes along with a Seeker Armada and Decepticon Tank army to attack Earth and the last remaining Autobots

It's easy to explain, the comic and the WW2 scene in TLk are canon. At some stage Bumblebee returned to Cybertron and Blitzwing stayed on earth. Then when Bumblebee returns to Earth he is tracked down by his old enemy.
Bumblebee had no prior knowledge of Earth before the Bumblebee movie took place. He literally just learned of it's existence from Optimus before he left Cybertron

Reed Albenesius Not necessarily, it means he found the planet. No reason why Bumblebee couldn’t have been there on a top secret mission, sent by Sentinel or someone. Plus the Autobots scattered across the Universe. I’m sure they have descoved many worlds Optimus pointing one out is not confirmation that they haven’t been there before. Plus who’s to say that scene comes before Bumblebee lands on earth in 1987. Think about it. Bumblebee leaves in a pod and when he lands there is no pod in sight. That opening scene could easily be before he lands the first time in WW2.

I have a theory on how Blitzwing arrived on Earth: Blitzwing is actually Starscream, and he changed his name so Megatron wouldn’t find out. He arrived on Earth around the 1960’s, when the F-4 was popular. He scanned an F-4 flown by Duke Mitchell, which ended up causing the events of Top Gun. When he was killed by Bumblebee, he may have not actually died. Since he is Starscream, he might be immortal like in G1 or Animated. Then the events of the 2007 movie happen.

The BB movie is still garbage. Why is Dumblebee a roided out Con slayer over six movies. Cliffjumper finally gets into a movie and gets the "prime" treatment. As far as I'm concerned Travis Knight tried to suck in fans of the OG transformers with the Cybertron scene then flipped it to Bayverse mode. Is he starscream, is he Blitzwing? At this point Id like to see Cliffjumper and Bumblebee switched. Let BB die, hopefully not to come back ever! I would still take issue with how easily Seekerblitzscream was wrote off but at least it would be a new face(Cliffjumper) the OG fans of TFs would love too see get some screen time.

In all honesty this for me was the worst transformers movie, basically because the plot made no sense and i had questions like this, so thanks for clearing up one of my plot questions. Still mot a fan of this film, but clearing up that helped. I have more questions if someone could answer them.
Bumblebee version of blizwing is better then g1 and stop calling him Ramjet g1 blizwing isn't a great charter or design because he looks too weak and blocky being a triple changer making him not a triple changer and making him a f4 phantom is awesome.
