Arcee as a spider is probably a reference to her beast wars toy. It was a redeco of beast wars treansmetal blackarachnia who turned into a spider. The other ones like wheeljack and shockwave are toy and comic references. The steam powered warship shockwave is probably a reference to hearts of steel where he was a steamboat.

Ravage can transform in to a missile. In the Revenge of the Fallen movie Soundwave was a satellite and he fired a missile that was Ravage in alt mode. Also the Soundwave figure from the ROTF toy line came with a Ravage missile that could be fired. The packaging actually says the missile is Ravage.

Shockwave's steam powered warship is referring to Hearts of Steel, his Mazda mode is a reference to Alternaters.
They aren't his current alt modes they are just the alt modes he has had in different continuities.
I remembered back when I was 10-12 years old, I had a crush on TF Prime Arcee.
I think the reason Arcee turns into a spider is because there was a Botcon toy of her that was a repaint of Beast Wars transmetal Blacharacnia.

The whole thing about Arcee being a "spider" is either referring to the Italian term of "spider" or "spyder" (seen officially spelt both ways) which means "convertible" or "topless car", or it's a reference to her sister Elita-1 becoming Black Arachnia/Air-Rachnid
It could also be a reference to the "Transformers: Universe" comics, where in the future Arcee turned into a spider during the Beast Era.

Considering that many of the modes listed were modes for past incarnations of each character, it’s possible that the modes listed here are about what modes they have had in the past rather than what modes they will have in the series

I think that for Shockwave the steam powered warship is supposed to be like in the "Hearts of Steal" comic rather than a Cybertronian mode you you theorised. I could be wrong but that's what first came to mind for me.

I think the thing with Arcee becoming a spider is referring a figure of hers when they repainted a trans metal Blackarachnia to be Arcee in the future after the passing of Daniel. I think that was the first time Arcee got a figure.

There is a Maximal version of Arcee who transforms into a spider. That Arcee was a redeco of Transmetal Blackarachnia from Beast Wars. So that would make sense.

For Arcee, I think spider is either a typo or the screenshot was taken before the text was fully typed out. The Toyota MR2 Spyder is a car that looks like it could suit Arcee. There are also other cars with some variation of 'spider' in the name. Although, this could actually mean something else all together, as there is a three-wheeled motorcycle called the Can-Am Spyder. I wouldn't be surprised if they used it, it's so cool.
For Shockwave, the steam-powered warship is a reference to Hearts of Steel, a comic book series set in a universe where the Transformers first make contact in the late 19th century. Their alternate modes are reimagined to fit the time period, such as Bumblebee turning into a steam engine, or Scourge turning into a blimp. The Mazda RX-8 seemed very familiar, so I looked it up. It's a reference to his Alternators toy under the name of Shockblast. Instantly brought back great memories, I loved that figure. For some reason.

In the movie people believed that the way ravage crashed into earth was like a capsule mode so that might be the missile mode

Ravage is a missile in ROTF and Arcee is a spider in the 3H Beast Wars era comics. LISTEN EVERYONE, these altinate forms are based on what these chacracters transformed into throughout Transformers franchises history 1984-2018. YOU'RE ALL WELCOME🤓
Ravage was technically a missle when Soundwave fired him to Earth in ROTF. I think that's what they are going with. Also Soundwave a communications officer being a satellite was a good altmode idea the only Bayverse change I respect as the G1 cassette player wouldn't work today and G1 characters were notorious for size shifting. Jazz was a 85 Mustang GT
Now, Arcee's 'spider' mode is referring to an old exclusive that was a redeco/retool of Transmetal 2 Blackarachnia as Arcee way before a 'proper', 'classic' toy of Arcee was released (such as the Animated Arcee, a lead up to the eventual and proper Thrilling 30 Arcee)
In Revenge of the Fallen Ravage turned I to a missile that Soundwsve fired to Earth from space.
As for the various alt modes listed, they are referencing the different modes in various toyline, and Bay movies.
Wheeljack turned into the Mustang GT in the Binaltech/Alternators toyline.
Same with Shockwave, he turned into a Mazda in the Alternators line.
Arcee in spider mode was a knot of Transformers Animated when her ability to adapt other Transformers’s power got her turning into a spider when trying to scan a spider

I think the extra modes are supposed to be a reference to other material. (The Arcee spider thing being a reference to the 2001 BotCon Arcee repaint of Transmetal 2 Blackarachnia.)

Some of the alt modes for the characters are from the alternators toyline. Like wheeljacks mustang is from that toyline or shockwave rx8 or even cliffjumpers Suzuki Swift. And the the steam powered worship is from the hearts of steal comic book which is based back when everything was powered by steam engines like trains and stuff

There was a BotCon exclusive repaint of BW blackarachnia called Arcee
The Mustang, Swift and Mazda are referencing the toy Line called Alternators. Where detailed and realistic Vehicle modes. An example of some figures. Prime is Dodge Ram. Tracks is, of course, a Corvette, Marage is a Ford GT 2006-07? Jazz is also a Mazda and Iron Hide is a Scion XB I think.
Cliffjumper sure did make the cut.
Looking back on this vid, the Mustang that wheeljack turned into was referencing his Alternators/binaltech which had a series of figures from 2003-2006

All the transformations mentioned were nods to all continuities, not just the movie verse, or the slimed continuity... for example, arcee “turns into a spider” because it’s a nod to the first arcee made, a recolor of arachnia in beast wars, which also explains iron hide’s movie mode, and so on and so forth for all the other transformers... they are not actual cannon transformations in the bumblebee verse

The Steam Powered Warship mode for Shockwave is a nod to the IDW miniseries called Transformer Evolutions Hearts Of Steel that took place in the 1920s. A lot the modes in these are reference to other toylines like Alternators. No triple changers here.

They are listing different alt modes the characters have had in different continuities and media.
Shockwave actually has an ironclad steamship alt mode in the Hearts of Steel comic series.
Arcee's spider mode is a reference to the 3H comics version.

What I think they did with the modes is they are just just what they *did* transformed to. Like with the g1 vehicle modes and with wheeljacks mustang mode from the alternators line and the same with shockwave from the alternators where his alt mode was the same as jazz (I think), which was the Honda Mazda and of course the bayverse modes
