I found it really funny when animated Blitzwing turned into a tank in mid-air and said "Oh slag! Not again!" which implies this has happened to him many times before.
Its because he did it before on accident but then Bumblebee started taunting him, pissing him off, and making him turn into a tank

@@twistedyogert not exactly, his big brute "Arnold Schwarzenegger" personality is associated with a tank because that personality likes blowing things up, where as his calm collected German Officer personality preffered the speed and agility of the jet, and so each form is linked to his personality, aside from his crazy psycho personality that one just goes f*ck it and picks what ever

Apparently Blitzwing was given a German accent when his voice actor decided to do so, and I think they changed his helm design to be inspired by German soldiers because of that, which is honestly pretty cool.
Hopefully we get the real Blitzwing in Live Action some day... in purple and beige as it should!
And him turning into both his G1 jet mode and a tank as well.
And personally I would want 3 faces just suggesting

@@danielmedela8725 depends on how triple changers work in Bayformers and the explanation for Blitzwing's spinning faces there. It could be used to connect him to the Quintessons again.

My head canon is that the Bltzwing from the Bumblebee Movie wasn't the real Blitzwing but instead was a random seeker with the name Blitzwing before the real one.
It's possible seeing two Grimlocks and 2 Breakdowns that had no relation with each other.
They could've just called Blitzwing from Bumblebee Ramjet
They never actually called him Blitzwing in the movie. So they could easily retcon it.
I really like blitzwing he's one of my fav purple characters after tarn-octane-astrotrain and the fact that "blitz" means lightning in german make him one of my fav characters and i like how his TFA version has a face sides like a lego minifigure and his design is actually fit the unicron trilogy (i wish if he's on it) especially for energon/superlink or cybertron/galaxy force

I love how the Gen 1 Blitzwing is a T-55 tank and a Mig-25 fighter jet, both Soviet cold war desings

Animated Blitzwing has so much personality. I wish I still had the toy of him.
My favorite design is the Animated one. That is just one of the most ingenious redesigns in Transformers history.
For some reason I think if they will bring bumblebee blitzwing back, I feel like the decepticons will find parts of shatter, blitzwing, and dropkick on earth then they will like make a combined body of the three giving blitzwing the triple changer ability and 3 personalitys from the three bots referencing animated. Personally I think this will give blitzwing more character, more story, and maybe pleasing blitzwing fans.

I'm pretty sure with Blitzwing in Bumblebee movie they are gonna change his name to some random seeker like Ramjet or Blistream (which sounds a little similar to Blitzwing actually), just like in Transformers 2007 they changed Devastator to Brawl and we got in Revenge of the Fallen an actual Devastator
And Blitzwing's name isn't name dropped in the movie, it's in the end credits, while in 07 Brawl was name dropped as Devastator

Or who knows maybe they do something like Age of Extintion and just make some human organization use Blitwing's and some other Decepticon's body parts like Dropkicks and create more accurate Blitzwing that is a tripple changer, doubt that but who knows
The last one (the fanart one) has got to be my favourite out of all here. The TFP style, mixed with Animated aspects, and resembles Dreadwing by complexion. Absolute perfection.

I legit don’t get why they didn’t just make Blitzwing the main antagonist of Bumblebee. Not only is his character insanely cool and nostalgic, they already went through the trouble of introducing two new triple changers who honestly IMO were really boring. Blitzwing should have been their leader and it would’ve made the stakes seem higher with three Decepticons coming after Bee. Blitzwing could’ve also been designed to look more like his G1 counter part as well and been a triple changer.
3:03 fun fact this became its own character along side the astrotrain he was packed with. He was named fever dream as the astrotrain was called star dasher
If I was Hasbro making transformers, I would’ve made Blitzwing the Decepticon leader his toy is definitely the most thematic and imposing

I am silently hoping that the reaon blitzwin showed up is cause someone will try to rebuild him with the other two cons parts and he becomes a triple changer with a split personality.
Blitzwing is just that decepticon where he's good at what he does and is the most well known transformer who can triplchange to three alt modes, as for my favorite incarnation it's most definitely animated like he's and lugnut are so funny and iconic as a duo an with the three facial personalities which makes him very memorable outta the many decepticons of that show
I love how Blitzwing's design in TF Animated is just a straight up a Nazi.
His helmet design, the helmet strap, the goggles and the fact that one of his faces literally has a german accent.
I honestly love it. I hope future Blitzwing designs incorporate stuff like this
It's overall the design of a regular german soldier of this time. There isn't any resemblance to NSDAP or Waffen-SS uniforms.

Blitzwing is my favorite Transformer. The fact that he turns into a fighter jet and a tank is so cool and almost unfair 🔥🔥🔥 I love jets, tanks, and all things military so he’s just perfect 💯💥 Hope they revive him in the new transformers movies 🤞🏾

My all time favorite Blitzwing design has to be Transformers Animated.
That show had some of the best designs from any of the cartoons even though they had that toy aesthetic. But it manages the cartoon stylisation in a way that the newer robots in disguise never could
As a big transformers fan, since the 80's, animated Blitzwing is the best.

I would REALLY love to see a Studio Series figure of the Bumblebee Prequel Comic Blitzwing along with the other Decepticons in it.
my head canon for blitzwing in bumblebee is that he is a regular seeker, but survived and became a purple triple changer later on. which is what I feel the g1 and also astrotrain are too

Not to mention the jet mode from Bumblebee movie wasn’t a decepticon jet it was an Aerialbot jet.
Something I see people say a lot is how Blitzwings faces are linked to his alt modes but I almost never see them take that assumption to its (most) logical conclusion.

Animated is THE blitz for me. From their accent that fits pretty well, to his design leaning into the fact he is a triple changer, and a toy that puts Legacy Blitz to shame.
A toy from 10 years ago is a better triple changer than modern legacy Blitz, what a comedy

I was one of those people who believe and the trailer it was Starscream and I got disappointed it was Blitzwinger but I am happy Blitzwinger in a movie I just wish he was in G1 colors
Though most people might not like Blitzwings design in the bumble bee movie I personally think it pretty cool too bad I didn’t incorporate his triple changer aspect

I thing the reason for the change in design for Blitzwing in the bumblebee movie is because of the whole "robots in disguise" thing... the traditional colors would seem very out of place if he was next to other McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II's (I had to look that up). It's the same exact situation with Mirage being a Porsche and how everyone assumed that it was Jazz

I feel like 3:10 was the Reason why BlitzWing was the color scheme ge was in the movie as opposed to his g1 Cartoon color scheme just like Cloud Starscream was basically the reason BB BlitzWing wasn't a triple changer but a seeker. I kinda hope in the future that In a future movie BlitzWing is brought back to life by Soundwave and Shockwave much like they did with Shadow Striker and ROTF Megatron with whatever parts they could salvage from Dropkick and Shatter eventually giving him the ability of being a triple changer and seeking revenge on Bumblebee and even giving him his g1 colors as a bonus and giving fans what they wanted

My guess is Blitzwing was going to be Starscream but when they decided to have Bee win that fight they decided to just change the head and call him Blitzwing. I think Thrust would have worked better since he was already red, but what do I know?

I love the BB movie design for blitzwing (and the seekers in general). The one good thing is that he's never referred to as blitzwing in the film, so it would be very easy to retcon him into a generic seeker if they choose to use the real blitzwing in a future film

I would say that the Bumblebee Prequel... isn't really a prequel. It works on the history set up from TLK, suggesting a long time alliance between humans and the Autobots, and it is an excellent little miniseries, but it has absolutely zero continuity with the movie, which depicts Bee arriving on earth for the first time in the 80s.
This is actually because originally, they intended the film to start with bumblebee ALREADY on earth, meaning this prequel comic probably would've fit.
Unfortunately, travis decided to add a cybertron scene in the opening, so yeah that renders the comic non canon. Lol

I may not like how BB movie Blitzwing looks visually, but I did think they got the personality right, he’s a brute whose throwing around the guy he’s fighting, and definitely isn’t the brightest

Animated (earthen form) is easily my favorite design.
Designs I also like are UndeadKitty13, Aligned continuity concept, Pika TFP, Earth Wars, and IDW Infiltration.
The one with the Transformers blitzwing with three heads I like that one that one was one of my favorites when I was younger he was just too funny the one with the Bumblebee I don't know if that is blitzway or whatever it's called if he is or if he is mine doesn't look like he is it but hate it doesn't matter we don't know if he is really dead dead always saw his his parts and and also maybe he did connected his other cyber Forum tank an act like he was dead but really he is not but I really don't know which one is but swing in the Bumblebee one that look like Starscream but really wasn't Starscream
