I always enjoy your work Jason. I use pastel sticks and pencils and use the tools to make backgrounds with the pastels and I enjoy the pencils and I feel that it is important to check the lightfastness of the pencils and sticks too. I just replace the ones that aren’t even a three with ones that are a better rating. Colored pencils is slower but using pastels in the background can make it go by quickly. Watercolor with pastel gives watercolor a softness that I can not explain. It is enjoyable and helps those who need a way to help escape physical pain when possible. We were certainly all made to have a sense of accomplishment.😊
