Standing horizontal on the narrowest part of a track wearing 2m long skis making no effort to move to the side... then when you bomb past them or ollie over their skis because if you stop there you have to get off and walk... you get yelled at... do no about over there but I bet most of these asshole skiers in Australia are also cyclists.

And the timing couldn't be better because the summer heat and lack of snowboarding have been disgruntling me. I feel like my anger has been properly channeled now. The "skiing sucks" message in the corner was a nice touch.
i don't understand why peuple wake up early in the morning to be the first ones on the corteroid just to side slipp/snow plow all the way down the red/black pists.

Snowboarders May have one blind spot, but skiers have two; left and right, when they are carving down the hill. I have had too many close calls with skiers because they failed to look sideways.

Holes in the argument, but great fun. Small town Iowa doesn’t have such trouble where we are mostly green runs full of toddlers. I just started snowboarding last season and we seem to be a majority here.

Ive lost helmets and googles due to poor pole management getting off chair lifts.
The top sheet of my board is peppered with fucking ski pole dents! Most of them have no clue how to get off of a lift..

I would say my my top three are 1) When snowboarders decide to sit down and take a break in the middle of a crowded run. 2) They posthole ski traverses. 3) They sideslip through narrow chutes, creating a 160 cm wide trench.
Haha, I like my boarding cloths baggy. More room to move my body around. Same principal as the freedom suit, as long as your pants clip into your coat. I did only make it out 25-30 times last year tho. So maybe I still fit that stereo type.
You forgot to talk about how they will take up as much space as possible when slaloming down the runs

Bro im a skier but it makes me really mad cuz they would pizza cut infront of people. Once i was skiing and i was gonna take a jump and then he cuts right infront of me and when i landed i crashed. (Ya know how painful it is bieing in skiis and being tangled up in them (its practically dislocating all of your limbs to be doing the splits but 10 times more harder untill you can reach the button to dislocate your skis) (also i dont blame the dad cuz he didnt had terrain park manners cuz it was prob his first time in a terrain park)

I got a hole on the top sheet of my brand new Yes Greats last year because some skier decided it was a good place to push her ski pole to get up. I nearly got stabbed by a ski pole on the lift line because some old guy who can't balance properly and had to flail around with his poles.

The best stopping spot for skiers is on cat tracks.. They lovvve to parallel that shit when your right behind them.. Best thing is when I just go right over the tops of their skis and they get all pissed, lmao don’t stop on the cat track because I’m damn sure not stopping

I've picked up and brought more projectile gear back to skiers in a single day than I do all season for other boarders. It's like they just can't hold onto poles, boots, skies, ect...

Skiers are always complaining at my resort, except it's literally only skiers fucking up the hill. Yeah sure Snowboarders can be fast but it's the damn skiers making a campsite when they wipe out with all their poles and other yuppy junk. Plus they have hit me from beyond more times than I can count

When I was a kid I wanted to try skiing, when I did some lessons it did not go well, the skiing instructors were very confusing and some of them were kind of mean, doing some of the lessons made no sense. Since then I don't ever want to try skiing again, however a few days I'm taking lessons for snowboarding, I hope it goes out well
How did it go?
@@brendanwalsh5693 the lessons were pretty hard, it was a dry land carpet on a conveyor belt, a few weeks after my lessons I did some actual snowboarding and it was also hard, I was almost getting the hang of it until it was time for me to leave, I want to try it again and I plan to this winter

@@HamsterTMS don't give up. The first day I tried I couldn't even turn and I was insanity sore the next day. That being said, after a few lessons I could do basic blue runs. Now going into my 5th season I'm shredding the double blacks and having a ton of fun. It'll take a while but it's worth it

Edit: Got yelled at once by a guy with skis who riding down from the upper parking lot with a beer cooler in his hands, because he couldn't stop and I was "in his way". He slid about 20 feet on the ground trying to "stop" in front of the chalet.
Ive never had a close call with snowboarders....only skiers
I’ve had a few with fellow snowboarders. But you can usually spot if their bad from a mile away. Unmatching ski gear, bad posture. Giant backpack on, beanie and no helmet. Or if they wear a helmet they have the strap on the outside. Oversized giant gloves. Or pants tucked into boots lol
@@PhaseSkater I'm assuming you mean goggle strap over the helmet. I keep mine over because I only wear gogs on the lift and when it's snowing, so strap over helmet makes it easier to keep it on the forehead of the helmet when I'm boarding
Simon Thompson good way to get them fogged up and other issues. And clearly you aren’t riding fast enough if you’re able to ride without goggles. Goggles keep my face warm from wind burn and the chilly cold when I’m blasting it down the mountain and it keeps the snow out of my eyes during falls in the park. Plus the uv tint is probably the most important. Have fun getting cataracts in the next few years. At least attempt to wear sunglasses. Idk how the snow reflection isn’t burning your retinas either. Only way I could see no goggles working would be riding in like North Carolina on a cloudy day on a bunny slopes

First day I ever rode I had just gotten out of a lesson and was going to do a lap with my dad we were getting of the two seater beginner chair and some fuckin idiot on skis was sitting on the unloading ramp thing and me not knowing how to skate very well ran into him and hit my head on the sheet of ice that had formed and me getting my first concussion

When skiers complain about snowboarders I like to remind them that the progression in ski technology is single handedly attributed to the rise of snowboarding popularity. Also, as if skiers don’t complain enough, I love going to the hill during spring conditions so I can listen to all of the skiers bitch about how “the snow is shit” while I’m laying trenches in that shit lol

But when they realize their child fell/fell behind on the other side of the run, and bee-line a traverse without so much as an uphill glance? The only time I have been hit us by a skier. I have never hit anyone. I know a guy at my local hill who is always complaining about snowboarders and I told him to shut up or move to Park City and stay at Deer Valley.
