- Welcome to Gun City! In this video, Ferg gives us the once over on the Sauer 101 Classic in 270WIN. As the name already suggests, the Sauer 101 Classic is the classic entry-level model into the Sauer 101 family. Due to the sleek lines of its full stock made of walnut burl and its elegant Schnabel, the Sauer 101 Classic reflects the tradition of timelessly beautiful hunting rifles from J.P. SAUER & SOHN.

I have a 100 Classic XT in 308 Win that has a 1.8lb trigger pull - 5 pull average, measured. I also have a 202 Supreme Lux in 25-06 that has a measured trigger pull of 2.3lbs, right out of the box. Both are incredibly accurate and a joy to shoot.
Picked one of these up when they were the “deal of the week” a few weeks ago. Epic. Love it.
That's what we love to hear! Great to know you're enjoying your purchase :) - JK
Such an underrated rifle that can outshoot many triple it’s price 🏷
Aluminum or steel receiver? Is the trigger guard aluminum or steel?
❤❤
Recently bought a sauer 101. Realy happy with the rifle!
Just have a wonder what’s the purpose of the half-cock position?
Great question, the half cock is a feature that some hunters use for silent stalking. It means you don't have to run through the whole action once you see an animal, you can simply drop the bolt from the half position and take your shot! - JK
Ohhh,Germans and quality go hand in hand.
Some incredible firearms have come out of Germany to be sure! - JK
