Price as is?
$5799 NZD! Check it out here : www.guncity.com/?q=22SA-196-DOTW&sort=price1%20desc - JK
Dream build it would be in 223
Agreed! Much harder to do in NZ sadly. - JK
Could be worse mate, you could be in Australia.
Is the receiver steel or aluminum?
Dudes got a face like haunted tupperware
Bro I pictured thís being a purge commercial. The face just reminds me of the purge lol
Chube
I don't know why but I hate the way over unders look like I just like the side by side more
Problem is ammo supply and cost 😢
It can be tricky to find ammo, but we have some in stock! www.guncity.com/ammunition/centrefire/300-blackout?flags=isBuyable%2CisNew - JK
Just got rid of mine. The bottom rail started flexing after roughly 500 rounds with a forward grip on it. Flimsy chassis.
Wow! - JK
Absolutely great rifle, bought this for my youngest daughter and she thrives on it. Hitting a 10inch steel plate at 180m!!!!!
Awesome! - JK
CZ are definitely one of the best
We agree! - JK
Will the Midwest industries M LOK rails work on this? I want to build a modern lever action but in 22 lr. So far I'm only seeing the modern builds in the higher caliber rifles.
We're unsure! It may be best to contact Henry directly to check. - JK
Im getting one of these because they have a 50 round drum that i can fill up and unload three times for the price of unloading one 20 round mag of 5.56
Sweeeet! - JK
Accuracy at 100m ?
You need a lot a hand power. This is crap.
You need to work out your hands buddy 😅
I was trying to figure out why you had to ramp up the rear sight for close in shooting, and it occurred to me that you're firing so close you had to lift the sights so your line of sight compensated for the roughly 1.5" difference in the line of bore to the line of sight. Meaning you're now intersecting as the bullet comes up in its arc through the line of sight, and will eventually pass through the line of sight again far downrange. This BTW is the method we use in the military as our zero at 25M is also roughly the zero for 300M, representing the upward and downward crossing of the line of sight in the arc of the bullet. How's that for getting technical. SSG. U.S. Army (Medically Retired) Infantry / Sniper / SOF Intel (SOT-A), multiple tours
Everyone can't shoot.
💥
🥳
It's a barrel sleeve not a silencer, do your research before reviewing,
bsaguns.co.uk/air-rifles/spring-guns/lightning-xl-se/ - see at the bottom of the page - thx FT
I see the lever sitting proud and can envision something catching under it.
When I got my license I was very impressed with how helpfull the authorities were and how accessible and practical the code material was. It was well structured and reflected use of firearms in the real world. Apart from all the forms , getting my license was great alround experience
A little softball on the questions, and giving the police a lot of extra credit, for things. Some points, from my experiences 53 minutes on hold on a Tuesday lunchtime, plus 23 minute conversation to register 2 rifles, that I couldn’t register online (types not in the system) And the biggest problem, is you can only ring them during work days/work hours. Which is quite hard (I took a day off work to ring and register mine). There is still a real attitude amongst firearm clubs, (at least ones I am a member of) that the police is the enemy, who is out to screw over the firearm community, which I think police will find hard to overcome.
Most guns in NZ are not owned for hunting..... not much mention of that. It's the sport shooters that were so badly impacted by the cockamamie reaction to Chch...... Having lost 3 of my rifles and ended up about $2000 out of pocket, I cannot say that I am confident about the power that the register will give the government, as well as police. The view of guns in society has changed radically over the last 40 years, and not for the better. Many of us are feeling rather besieged..... we have recently been treated abominably by the powers that be, and we did no wrong at all.
Honestly .. if you shoot a human with a thermal imaging scope ..... call yourself Stevie Wonder
Check the price of those guns…
great interview ferg and good questions! thank you!
Sounds all pretty reasonable to me. Firearm registration and Police purchase approval for each and every firearm is what I grew up with.
Yes... 50 years ago that was the regime..... but it was accepted then that owning guns was OK. Now it is quite different and the register WILL be used to confiscate by a future government. I have have the rego certificate for one of my rifles from the 1960s. It's quite different now.
Don't ignore us motorcyclists Mike. Just because we are in the 'too hard basket' doesn't mean the regulations (both real and made up) can exclude us, we have rights as well as responsibilities mate!
A flamethrower on fore grip or m203
Can you shoot any arrows trew it
Nah mate you have to look up what length but most arrows should shoot
How much are they
He said in the vid 649 nzd
The brit is a jackass!
Hey there, I just checked the website, and it's back to $349. Did I miss the sale?
Hi, yes sorry! But we run great deals on these pretty often, so keep an eye out! - JK
@@guncitynewzealand No worries! I'll keep an eye out :)
Benellis are incredible shotguns. Do you guys get the Benelli M3s and M4s in New Zealand?
i believe gun city has m4s. I'm unsure about m3s though.
We do! Love them. They're great shotguns! - JK
Hi I"m thinking of getting a superlite 22wmr to replace my CZ 512 because I would love to have a better trigger could you put up a video of the superlite in action thanks
They have pump action ARs.
Im using Tac R1 as a relaible, cheap and accurate enough trainig rifle to save money on 5.56 ammo. I have put red dot and 3x magnifier (both not expensive Leapers brand) and changed original iron sights (which are actually plastic) to at3. Tac R1 have adjustable bolt speed spring so it's possible to tune rifle to various loads, mine is adjusted to cheapest Magtech ammo I could get and it works without malfunctions. Accuracy wise - shooting 1x red dot off hand and standing I got about 95% hits in 20cm circle at 50 meters. Hammerli tac r1 works for me.
Hey! Thanks for excellent and informative feedback on the TAC R1, we appreciate it! FT
The problem is that you now need a lockable case to transport your firearms .
Hey Richard, if you are on an airline, but if you are travelling in your vehicle, you could just pull the bolt out and store it separately, or use a trigger lock or action lock on the firearm: www.firearmssafetyauthority.govt.nz/firearms-safety/storage-and-transportation-firearms-and-ammunition . Answer as of Jul 24 - Thx FT
I have 2 94s, one traditional American-made, and one Cowboy edition, also American made. They are both sleek and elegant, well handling. I also have a Henry Wildlife 30-30. Between the two, the Henry has a smoother action, albeit with a beefier, bigger bellied forehead. The 94s are very mechanical feeling, and require a forceful working. The Henry is like cutting warm butter, very easy and smooth.
Made in ?
simplesmente me apaixonei por essa arma, fico muito triste que aqui no Brasil temos uma pseudo-ditatura, onde nossos politicos são contra armas
$450 for a gun a $100 to make.
I bought a savage a17hmr a couple years ago. Great little rifle, good accuracy, a nice trigger for the price and Im sure that the bolt action will hold better groups up to 180 meters. Any critters under 25kg are in trouble if you're packing one of these!
21st century? By my count there have already been 20.
It's also great gun for when you're traveling in a fried-out Kombi in a hippie trail, head full of zombie.
Can you comment on the reliability of the gun. I am hoping to pick this one or the chippa rak ak47.
What scope and rings does it come with?
WELL I HAD ONE, YOU DIDN'T FLIP THE TRIGGER ASSEMBLY AROUND TO SHOW THE PLASTIC INTERNALS, THEY DIDN'T SEEM LIKE THEY WOULD LAST LONG, ALSO THE PEEP SIGHT THAT IT COMES WITH HAS TO BE TIGHTENED WITH AN ALLEN WRENCH WHICH IS VERY THIN AND NO MATTER HOW TIGHT I GOT THE THING IT WOULD STILL COME LOOSE AFTER FIRING.
what laser unit do you have mounted on it? thank you.
