- The Sauer S100 Fieldshoot is fully customizable, eye-catching, and chambered in the 6.5 Precision Rifle Cartridge (PRC). It’s a great rifle for competitions, target shooting, and hunting. What’s not to like?

Kristin, within a week you've reviewed two rifles that cut one-hole three-shot groups in your 100-yard target. Although you gave the rifles the lion's share of the credit for the accuracy you demonstrated, It's my belief that a far greater share of the credit belongs to you. Bottom line, Excellent Shooting!
😃 Kristin is an excellent shot and she loves reviewing these beautiful guns. Thanks for the comment Noah. Glad you enjoy the videos.
It's refreshing to see somebody that knows what they are doing reviewing an obviously high quality firearm.
Kristin is great. Glad you enjoyed it.
Always like reviews done by Kristin. She tells me what I want to know about the gun being reviewed.
Kristin is great. Lots more reviews by her on the way John!
She needs to drop some lb’s.
You can change the barrel on the Sauer 100 Fieldshoot, it's a normal screw fit. If you look through the hole drilled in the receiver for the picatinny rail you can see the threads. It's the Sauer 101 that has the press fit barrel. Also the butt pad moves side to side and up and down to adjust it.
It must be said that Kristin has done a tremendously superb presentation which only an excellent communicator is capable of. Truly the best review I have observed and learned much from as she splendidly presents the Features, Value and Benefit of a fine UBER German Rifle. I think my wife is going to love this rifle. You have left an lasting impression of this rifle on my mind that is for sure. Thank you.
One of my favorite channels!! Christen is awesome, so knowledgeable!! Nice rifle by the way! Stay safe and God bless 🇺🇸☠️🇺🇸!!
Glad you enjoy it. Thanks for the kind words. Plenty more videos coming.
Really amazing review, good job Kristin
Excellent camera work to accompany the commentary. I’ve been curious about the safety and magazine in these rifles and no one else has shown it as clearly as y’all, thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it BB.
I love to see you shoot and your videos are on point. Can’t get any better.
Glad you enjoyed it DM.
Great review just what i was looking for. Going on order this week . from UK
Really liked your presentation, on my wish list
Excellent review
Nice shooting, that’s a sweet rifle.👍🏼
The sauer 100 is not heat-shrunk, the 101 is. The 100 is threaded but it has a integrated barrel extension for the bolt lugs etc.
Its not like a 700' where it locks in the reciver.
Awesome shooting
God bless from Australia
Looks amazing!
Nice rifle for sure.
Cheek weld is critical, looks super, recoil pad looks fantastic.nice show
Glad you enjoyed it Pauls Country.
Superb video. Thank you.
Totally in a Man's world! Great job, Christen!
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it.
@@Gunscom Pardon the spelling mistake on your name, Kristen.
*Gunscom* WOW well done, thank-you for taking the time to show us. God Bless.
Very welcome. Glad you enjoyed it.
Thanks and just purchased today
The furniture on those Sauer guns looks fantastic.
Pretty sweet for sure. Classy.
What a group!
Yes Sir. Impressive to say the least!
Nice music! Great info.
Glad you liked it John. Thanks for the comment. Nice rifle for sure.
I remember when the Colt Sauer was popular and the 25-06 was the cartridge to have. The highly figured wood stocks and dark mirror bluing made them quite popular. Those rifles shot quite well too and sure looked better too. I remember when Winchester, Remington and Ruger were top of the line rifles. Sadly seeing everything coming from someplace else is the norm these days. I would rather see rifles made in America being shown more.
I've been meaning to purchase that model for quite some time .
We have them from time to time on our site. Just type what you're looking for in the search bar up top.
I really like the stock
And trust me I don't like wooden stocks where you can't attatch stuff
your very fine shot!
Kristin is an excellent shot. Thanks for the comment Tom.
Excellent 👍. I've been seriously looking at the Sauer 100 classic with beach wood in 243. Have you tested it? I'd like to find a traditional aperture sight to fit. Thanks 👍
Great Shooting! I have the Ceratech in 6.5 PRC, have not shot it yet... Was wondering has this rifle been barrel broken in or just shot without using any kind of break in procedure?
Good shooting
Yep.
wow do i wish i could shoot like that
Excellent job. What reference of the Champion stand bench are you using? Thanks my dear in advance.
Can you indicate the power of the Meopta Optika 6, which you show on your Sauer 100 as well as the type of mounts used?
Well damn! That was a pretty awesome review. My wallet is telling me to sit my ass down before I do something stupid.
😃 Nice rifle for sure. Glad you enjoyed the review Ray. Thanks for the comment.
I think the 6.5 PRC or the 257 Wby is the perfect big game cartridge for shooters under 180 lbs
What is the ballpark price on this beautiful rifle great review and great shooting cheers Yogi Australia 🇦🇺🤙🤙
Nice rifle Kristin Alberts, Me want. But what do you do when the barrel is shot out, order a new action and barrel?. or is it more productive to toss the whole rig and buy another one?
Do you have a video talking about the scope on this rifle ?
Damn I know that's a nice rifle but she can shoot !!!!
This is a great review but I think you’re wrong about the barrel being heat shrunk and permanently fixed to the action. I believe the S100’s barrel is threaded on to the action, in the conventional way, and it’s the S101 barrel which is heat shrunk.
A rookie here: I’m not a deer hunter etc., But, do hunt dogs and p-dogs on occasion. I’m also becoming interested in LR precision. I don’t load, and ammo cost is a factor. All said, caliber and rifle suggestions would be appreciated.
What's the difference between this action and the one in a sauer 200? Or 202?
Beautiful gun, but darn, shootout the barrel and it is a wall ornament?
I can see some commonalities that entry level rifles, like the Thompson Center, have taken or copied from quality rifles such as this one. Here's my worry about this rifle: Given the current ammo shortage, is "now" the time to be jumping into a new caliber?
Good video. 👍
Glad you enjoyed it KJ.
Look, I tried to get the shotgun yesterday right after the video and they were gone.
Excellent shooting I have to admit …what was the MSRP on this rifle ?
It's used so MSRPs vary. We have them from time to time on our site. Just type what you're looking for in the search bar up top.
If you told me you had primers and powder I’d be more excited
Does it fire 7.62x51mm?
Does anyone know the bolt diameter?
That barrel is not permanently fixed to the action. That would be the 101. Sauer had nothing to do with the development of the 6.5 PRC. George Gardner started the development with his 6.5 SAUM project that resulted in the 6.5 GAP 4S. Hornady was making the brass for him, and liked what they saw. They collaborated with George to create the 6.5 PRC.
Ok, first time hunters (my son and I) looking to buy our first couple of hunting rifles for deer and hog. Neither of us are small guys and not recoil sensitive to anything we've shot yet. With that said, we are looking for caliber and rifle recommendations in the 600 to 1,000 dollar range? I know this is all a matter of preference, but its good to soak it all in. Thanks ahead of time for any responses.
Remington, Savage and Winchester are all mainstay manufacturers that all make good rifle at the $600 - $1000 mark. You can't go wrong with them. You can also find many used rifles on our site. Depends what you're hunting, caliber, how far you're going to be shooting, are you going to be mobile or in a stand.
@@Gunscom stand mostly, 100 to 300 yards is my comfort zone for range, and white tail size deer and hogs
Very impressive. But how effective is 6.5 on large game like elk or moose?
Scandinavian’s have been using the 6.5x55 for over 100 years on Moose.
Exactly. It's leathal.
This broads northern accent is awesome! Yah youbetcha!
Makes me feel warm n fuzzy don't ya know
Ha ha. Wisconsin represent!
Turn on the closed caption and be entertained by a bunch of sentences that have nothing to do with this video or any other video.
Weird.
Thank you for making me laugh, that's ridiculous.
you are wrong the are not using heat laped process that means you can chang the barrel!!!!
Ok fantastic it looks like you reply to your channel please please im in the want the need the desire to own a fieldshoot in 6.5 creedmore iv been in contact with the us importer but they have nothing but bad news how would i go about getting one of these like b4 i commented here
Ok update on this post tho no one will notice i got one just like i wanted its so beautifull 1500 usd out the door
Nice shooting but not as good as what you did with the Benelli Lupo
Yep, pretty sweet. Kristin can shoot.
You can flat shoot.
Thats almost cheating! What a shooter!
Sharp shooting.
my gunsmith says, you can change the barrel,self-evident
sauer germany says no you can not !!!
Great video, but why must y'all be so good at spending my money 😅
1791?... that was the real year
1776-2020 rip usa
RIP rem700
👌👏👍🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻❤️
Accent???
Happy I don't own that rifle. Watching this vid I would have shot myself with it after having heard her voice..
Shame about the safety. In my opinion a very poor and 'unsafe' design. Sold my Sauer 100 because found that safety easily popped forward with slightest effort into live position. It did this on a number of occasions whilst being carried and outwith my knowledge until checking safety as part of routine whilst hunting. Otherwise a great accurate rifle.
BARREL comes OFF.
6.5 PRC NEEDS A 26 INCH BARREL, NOT ABLE TO REBARREL???!! 👎👎👎😬😬😬
Not correct, you can rebarrel the Sauer 100
That voice is unbearable.
