Hey Girl Gang! I am so excited to be back into the swing of college videos, and even more excited that this is my FIRST College Week in My Life of Junior year! Another update: I got tested for COVID again because I was getting nervous with the number of cases on campus and tested negative, so yay for being smart & staying safe! Pro tip! ☝🏻 Put the dry shampoo to your hair when it is just washed and clean. It will absorb the grease and hair will stay cleaner longer. You can also put it the night before so it will sit on your skalp and absorb the grease over night. 😊Just try it! 👍🏻

Hey! I’m wondering your thoughts on the fact that the university of Alabama now has more cases of Covid than the entire country of Canada? I think this is a huge thing to disscuss as young people right now and you’re not only living in an epicenter right now, but you’re living in history! What are your thoughts?
Hey! While all of these tweets and things are going around, it is completely different over here on campus in Tuscaloosa. I know many people who have been counted as a "positive test" but had an immediate second test & another third test after that come back negative. So to be honest, I don't really know what to believe. All I know is that I'm taking the phrase "Trust No One" pretty literally these days (haha) & only coming in close contact with my roommate, and socially distanced with everyone else. I went and got tested again because I knew I was around a people on Bid Day and my test came negative, just like I knew it would. My little and many of our other friends and everyone else I know also came back negative. All I know is that we are being extremely careful while some students still think it's okay to go to parties & bars, which is why they're getting COVID. But I don't even hang out with people like that anyway so I really haven't run into any problems yet!
Gracie O’Connor I truly believe many tests are false positives. I mean look at the NFL.
Please continue to be careful! There are false positives but there are also false negatives! I’ve had several friends have the virus and it’s awful. Thanks for being a great role model
Gracie O’Connor totally understand the idea of false positives, however it’s people’s lives that are on the line! It’s so easy to say no ones really worried irl (because I bet that’s true) but that’s not necessarily a good thing. I think that’s something us young people forget, because it’s kinda funny to think about, but yeah false positives are WAY better than false negatives. I’m glad you’re being safe though! Let’s all try and be on the right side of history here!
It’s also disappointing to hear that UA has such unreliable tests! Haha

Hey Gracie!!! Love your videos! I have a question--my apologies if you've already answered it. But how are you in your sorority if you don't live in the house? Is this a normal thing Pi Phi has always done or is it related to Covid? Just curious! :)
We have almost 450 girls in our sorority and only 63 can live-in. For Pi Phi at Alabama we are a majority-sophomore house, so it gets competitive for 100+ sophomores who want to live in the house! & then after sophomore year the only girls that really live in the house are the President and some of the Exec members! SO I lived in sophomore year & now we have this apartment!
