- Catalina Island is a beautiful location off the coast of Southern California. Avalon is the main city there and boats run from Long Beach and Dana Point many times per day to get over to the island. Amie and went for a day in the middle of June 2019 and here is what we did while on Catalina Island. Let me know what your favorite spot is in the comments.

Thank you! Because of your video, I had a phenomenal time with my girlfriend. I recently went to Catalina on 08/11/2020, so this will be a Covid 19 update. I visited Maggie's Blue Rose which had amazing food and the specials cost about $25 a piece but absolutely worth it. Margaritas were $10 a piece. Scoops was an even $10 for two cups of ice cream. The energy of Catalina is pleasant and not overly crowded. I definitely suggest visiting the museums unless you want a relaxing beach experience instead. You can have both of course lol This is a great and romantic day trip. I went from 11:30 am to 6:30 pm.

No one knows the exact day hour /But we can see the signs events all around us. And by the timeline, Israel is 80 years and 1 generation span according to bible text will be around 2027 , which israel was declared first in 1947 + 80 years = 2027 . so we know we dont have 10 years left as this is 2022 so the rapture, then the tribulation will be before 2030 for sure.

Information for anyone who has come across those that refute the

Memories! 40 years ago, my new wave rock band was booked for a concert at the high school. They not only paid us a lot of money for the concert, but covered our boat trip (where we bumped into Fleetwood Mac), and they put us up at a nice hillside motel with a view. My girlfriend came along, so we got a romantic getaway on Catalina, and my band had a great time rocking the island. Watching your video, the island hasn't changed much in all these years.

You didnt show the beautiful Desconso beach and zipline that is fantastic. You can also take a tour bus to tour the island and see the buffalo that was left years ago after a movie was shot on the island.

My daughter and I just took a trip on a cruise to Encanada Mexico. Our stop aboard our ship in Long Beach then aboard another ship to Catalina Island it was amazing I loved it.😃

Talk about memories I used to live there nice seeing the island again but boy a lot of changes but hopefully for the good nice to see people enjoying the island as they should that's what it's there for easy going all the day🤗

Had been there and we took a (bit scary) bus ride up through the mountains where there are breath taking views. We went all the way to the airport where we ate buffalo tacos. Loved Catalina!

Loved it there Josh such a beautiful island. The golf buggy hire is such a great way to whip about the island and get some great elevated views. Very happy memories there even though we only spent the one day. Great video guys 🇺🇸👍🏽

I just finished my whole Trail! This will be a wonderful memory in my life. I love catalina island scenery, and a bison It was next to my tent to eat grass ！LOL! I'm not so afraid of it! I think I'll go there again!

We watched a movie at The Casino once and it was amazing! Plus our boat was moored about 5-6 boats out so the view from The Casino was pretty darn good too :)
And if you stay overnight El Galleon is great for dinner and our fav place: Luau Larrys! Sit on the window sill with a drink and watch the people walk by ~ so fun!

Yes. There are much, much more you can do at Catalina island. They have eco Jeep tours that start at 2 hours to 4 hours. I highly recommended them. The hotels are awesome. If you take the Avalon condos, you basically have an entire condo with the breathtaking ocean views, that is if you book the condos with a view, most have a golf cart at your disposal.
If you want a FUN Catalina experience. Check out Catalina Food Tours & Go snorkeling. Both on Yelp. 10/10 recommend!

Amazing. My uncle plays the movie organ at casino. I went to school there and lived there from birth off and on till I was 18. Back in the 80’s I had free roam of the place - it was great.

My husband and I went to Catalina Island June 2020. Golf cart rentals were nice but very limited on where you can go. We ate lunch at Maggie’s and dinner at Steve’s. Very good food at both restaurants. Dessert was Scoops ice cream. Nice small community. We had a good time. Thanks for sharing.

Oh my god! $75 per round trip ticket?! Insane! I used to fly there from the Long Beach Airport, I think it was $25 each way.

Only thing we’d add is rent a golf cart and drive around the island😎 There’s also an off road 4x4 tour that takes you into the island where the buffalo roam!

I went there for 5th, and omg- do you have to visit there. I hated kayaking, but my favorite was high ropes!! 9/10 the cabins were a little dirty though, but their entertainments brough the score back up! I would definitely recommending going there with your freinds!

One pro tip for Catalina, bring plenty of cash because you can get the best deals if you have cash. Many places have a cash versus card price. Or some reasonably priced food places only accept cash. And the Long Beach harbor where you catch the ferry have coupons for attractions in Catalina

I stayed for a week and you should rent a condo if you stay for long. You get a golf cart that you can drive that comes with it. If you choose a condo then you should pick the ones that point out on the side of the island so you can have a high view of the ocean and beach. There is also an entire obstacle course if you have kids like 13 or even the harder ones for adults (takes about 45 mins). There is a spot for super high up zip lines that go off a mountain over land. I also highly recommend spending at least a day going to the small shops near the pier because you will definitely find things to bring back or even candy like what I did at Lloyd’s candy shop. The island might look small from the front but it is actually massive but most space is just land and trees. If you want to go to Italy but you cannot afford then you should definitely go here because it is like a replica of Italy. Your Welcome!

Hi. Love your travel videos. But I wish you did a two day stay in Catalina for hotel reviews and excursions you can do like the Jeep echo tours and zip lining and the nice beach and the Avalon condominium rentals, the golf carts.
Last time I went there was by small airplane from Long Beach airport. A little bit pricier option than the cruise but so totally worth it! You land on the airstrip on the hills and take a bus going into Avalon. Along the way you'll see grazing buffalo!
