I'm not a warmonger but sometimes, in moments of madness, I think NATO should take its gloves off, get directly involved, and put a stop to russian aggression for once and for all. Maybe it wouldn't lead to WW3. I'm sure I'm not the only one, or am I?

Remember, those Ukranians are the former anarchist under Makhno who murdered the mennonite and german settlers of Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta to the thousands. That is how these germans ended up in Canada. The russians where the Bolschewiki, which did relatively less harm to the germans and mennonites. It was the Ukranians who killed en masse under anarchism independent movements as bandits and robbers these people who ended up in Canada. Lots of those emigrated in time to the prairie provinces since 1870 since the Zar and general russians and ukranians started to show an increasingly hostile attitude towards the germans and other western settlers in southern Russia. That change in behaviour started after the russians lost the Crimean war around 1850. Before that it was all fine. Obviously in the period of 1918 till 1923 the mass murders on these german settlers was perpetrated by the ukranian anarchists. It was not just the russians (as Bolschewists) but majorly the ukranians who did the atrocities towards the later canadian settlers. The thing is that even in Ukraine there are still these anarchist movements just I have no idea if they are in the Donbas or rather towards the Kiev aerea. I assume these ukranian anarcho movements are today pro russian, since pro communist.
The optimal would be if the ukranians and russians would wipe themselves each out in this war. So the Bolschewists 3.0 are gone and the renewed anarcho Makhnowitza are gone as well forever. Be carefull what you wish. Both would want to kill you happily as an Thank You!
The only group which never did atrocities to the german and mennonite settlers where the Bandera nationalsocialistic people (Nazis). Those never incurred in any atrocities against these later canadian settlers. The Bandera guys tried to start going the economy of Ukraine and southern Russia between the german occupation again. They managed to start the economy and production was plentyfull again for a few years. Once the germans where gone (the Wehrmacht), the economy again remained in shambles and nothing worked anymore. The Bandera guys together with the Nazis implemented an capitalist normal democratic autoritarian production system which was very sucessfull for the brief 3 or 5 years they controlled the aerea. The russians and ukranians did not like this since they had to work then honestly and could not steal anymore. Bolschewism and Anarchism was a system to avoid work and take the stuff of others and give it to yourself till the produced items where empty. Then start a purge again to sqeeze out even more goods to take that away from others. And so on. Do not trust those Ukranians nor those Russians - they have an eternal tendency towards Anarchism and Bolschewism.

You are certainly correct that Xi humiliated Putin. In China, the most important thing is "face". When Xi did not bother to meet Putin personally, it was a deliberate insult and Putin "lost face". Putin will get nothing of importance from China because China is far more vulnerable to sanctions than Russia is. China pretty much imports everything it needs from fuel to food and has limited access to the sea. Therefore, sanctions would cause China to quickly disintegrate without imports and the economy is totally dependent on exports. Due to geography, China can easily have its maritime trade routes blockaded. Even India alone could do it. So Xi will talk smack but when push comes to shove he will not dare to violate any of the sanctions placed on Russia and risk having them imposed on China.

When I was living in Finland, my father in law used to get people from Russia and Ukraine to work on his farm in the summer times. I met once a nice guy who spoke English well (as well as Finnish). Turns out he was a doctor. His discussion led me to ask "why is a doctor working as a farm helper for pittance". He replied that as a Dr in Russia; he got paid *less than a bus driver* (when working hours was tallied) and had greater responsibilities. This was 2015. Konstantin, you are wrong about doctors in China. They are experiencing the same type of thing you described happening in Russia. Delay in payment of wages (often for months) and cutting of salaries is endemic in China.
In fact, many civil servants, police and teachers are experiencing the same. The number of labor protests for delayed wages (sometimes for years) is very large.
The only employers that pay well and on time are foreign owned companies. These are, unfortunately for the Chinese workers, moving out. At least when they do, they offer descent severance packages. Many Chinese employers just close up shop and disappear.

This is something that I find hard to understand. Everyone keeps talking about how China is supporting russia. Yet we have examples, time after time, of China’s support being
. less than what was needed. The biggest was when russia began to run out of front line vehicles for troop transport, evacuation and logistics. They needed trucks, tracked vehicles, even light armour. China, out of pure generosity, gave them golf caddies . They were so desperate, they actually used them! Now, we know China has a whole range of military vehicles, including some pretty capable tanks, that they manufacture themselves. So if Xi wanted to be helpful, he could have delivered some of those, but he went with the caddies. Why has nobody noticed the constant discrepancies between what russia needs from China and what russia gets from China? Greatest ally my foot!
If China wasn’t on the brink of an economic catastrophe, meaning it absolutely needs every possible revenue stream, I think it would drop russia like a hot potato.

I feel that you are telling the truth relative to the situation in Russia. I have watched a few other videos of various ladies in Russia showing grocery stores full of food with no shortages. Other videos show Ukrane military advances, with strikes within Russia. I can’t tell if this is propaganda for the US citizens.
