  • As we continue our trip through Tibet, we'll go in search of Namcha Barwa, the highest mountain in Nyingchi, at a height of over 7,700 meters. But in order to get there, I’ve got to travel alongside the world’s highest river: The Yarlung Tsangpo River.
The scenery in this episode is simply stunning! My ability to cope with the altitude… Not so stunning. But the environment alongside the Yarlung Tsangpo River is truly breathtaking. And my attempt to get a glimpse of the peak of Namcha Barwa was definitely worth it.
If you like this episode please hit that LIKE button and don't forget to subscribe. Thanks so much. Take care wherever you are, and look after one another.
(Just to remind everyone, my Tibet videos were filmed in September. I added the recording date but it's not showing up apparently.)

OMG Stu, even without sighting the peak of Namcha Barwa and the little brother, the scenery is already captivating and gobsmacked. I do not understand why you are also drawn into the dragnet of being a Communist Party of China's supposedly paid influencers in the New York Times article. Such innocuous tourist and foodie even incurred the wrath of these heinous Western media. If I were you, I would wear such badge with honour for showcasing the beauty of China and the effort to alleviate poverty across the land.

That Yarlung Tsangpo river in China is flown all the way down to India's northeast and it is known as Brahmaputra in India. It is the biggest river in India. It always cause flood during summer season due to overflow. Been to visit brahmaputra twice and it's damn big in India.

@@anonymintheworld9781 This is also what I learned when I travelled in Tibet. The locals were very grateful to the government. Especially in terms of education, the government provides various favourable conditions to persuade local families to send their children to education. At the same time, it has created a lot of employment opportunities for local people, and other provinces also have assistance such as houses. The income and living standards of local people have been significantly improved!
