Roxy screaming “give me back my eyes!” Makes me so sad for her. Imagine wandering the pizzaplex for so long while it and you both fall into more and more disrepair, and completely blind. She probably misses her friends and maybe her blindness scares her.

Yeah just another thing Ruin did that's more polished. Wish we could've had the same thing with the base game.
It was something they saw as a flaw in security breach, and so they promptly fixed it, just like everything else. Ruins is a perfect DLC, what SB should've been.
The animatronics are looking for Gregory, who's not really human. So when Roxy realised she had grabbed Cassie, a real child, there's probably something in their coding to never harm the kids.
There was a reason Roxy was pulled back to her senses because she heard cassies voice so she remembers her unlike with Gregory which was a stranger to the pizzaplex and was not in the files so they didn’t know him especially Freddy because Gregory is a orphan that lives on the streets
While the main reason appears to be Roxy's relationship to Cassie specifically, this is an interesting thought. Only problem is the other animatronics seem to have lost this protectiveness. Though to be fair, they all had opportunities to kill her, and didn't

@@sajackson The others, especially Monty and Chica, are like…beyond repair. Roxy had her eyes taken out, which would affect the interface, but she seems to be the most lucid of the three. Especially since it's namely secondary pieces, like her muzzle, hair and tail, that are gone. Important to her, but not her circuitry's function. There was the fire too, but her outer shell probably saved her from most of that damage since it's a protective layer. All in all, she's unlike Monty who took a pretty bad fall, and Chica who literally was thrown into a trash compactor. Lol. So a connection is probably there, but Roxy being in better cognitive shape is probably another reason as well.

I always had the feeling that the only reason they were aggressive towards gregory was because Vannie messed with their computers, so a random lost child would confuse them since they are supposed to be friendly with children. Honestly, I don't think they even technically ATTACK Gregory until they start getting damaged in the first game, they just catch him but thats still game over (sent home, taken to the office/apprehended etc)

Honestly I had the same problem where it took me hours to beat the part and I lowkey raged in frustration lmao
Roxy and Freddy are the only ones with some sort of intelligence. The others seem to mindlessly chase after you and wander around with no specific goal, however Roxy is actually searching for something, which is her eyes and revenge on Gregory. The fact that she even let go of Cassie after realizing she wasn't Gregory is just cool though.
I agree, even in the original, I noticed she had more intelligence than the others. She talked more fluently than chica or Monty, chica eventually lost her voice box. But even when she had it, all she said was “Gregory!” and “Your parents are looking for you”. Monty, you could barely understand him half the time. Roxy felt like she had more emotions than the others, like she was more “alive” in a sense.
Who knows if the prototype in fazer blast, is the real Freddy. But if the real Freddy still exists, he would also be on the same level.

In case anyone is confused, the “random” music men jumpscares (the first one and the Fazerblast one) are because if you linger around the Entity long enough without removing your mask, it can’t hurt you directly but it is allowed to trigger an instantaneous and unavoidable jumpscare from whatever animatronics it has at its disposal. Which happened to be the music men both times.

I love the fact that AR being used to make solid objects able to walked through and literally teleporting isn’t what convinced him something was up, but a plushie becoming the size of a child did.

There’s an ending that requires multiple of these secret cameras to be found which opens up multiple sets of doors that you couldn’t access without looking at these cameras

The Roxy bit makes sense - it was Freddy and Gregory who took her eyes in the last game, not Cassie. So why would she want to hurt her, she's programmed to work well with children. Plus at the time, she was ordered to find Gregory with the others.

Roxy was also at Cassie's birthday and recognized her
Freddy didn’t take her eyes or even help Gregory take them, that little psychopath did that all on his own
Spoiler- one thing we find out later in the game is that Roxy was at two of Cassie’s birthdays and was the only one there she remembers them both and has some kind of special connection with Cassie
And I think Roxy is something or someone special for Cassie because she said "maybe this time they will come" or something like that referring to the attendees on Cassie's birthday that didn't come to celebrate. I found this DLC really emphasizes how we look at Gregory from another perspective, even Freddy was shocked when he knew he was built again by his friends parts.
@kurowmina YES. I felt so sad seeing Roxy smile at Cassie as they were holding hands. Roxy loves that girl🥺and I know Cassie feels bad, too. She thought she was doing something good. I love the ending of the game, though!😊 if we have a 3rd game, this will probably be similar to Freddy and Gregory. You know, Roxy helping out Cassie and finding her way out. Roxy is the real Rockstar here🥺🩶
Since AR seems to have an effect on reality (Cassie being able to walk through massive real objects using the AR mask), I feel the *evil robo-bunny will be able to cross from AR realm into the real world* at some point in the game.
Maybe it’s the security nodes that help keep the robo bunny at bay, as we keep deactivation these nodes, the barrier between AR and reality gradually gets weaker, allowing robo-bunny into the real world

I love how mark actively tried to get into the secret room, I haven’t seen anyone try and if they did then they used hacks. For mark the only problem was he didn’t find all the wet floor bots and deactivate them, doing so he would’ve opened the secret room by the area where it was glowing purple in the bowling alley. 16:18

Roxy asked for her eyes back because in Security Breach Gregory took Roxy’s eyes. With her being blind and hearing Gregory she automatically assumed that you were Gregory. When she hear Cassie’s voice she knew your character needed to be set back down, and Roxy actually kinda sounded sorry
As soon as Roxie said "sorry" and seemed scared and confused I instantly felt so bad about everything I did in security breach originally

The animatronics in Ruin actually make me kind of sad. Cassie seems like such an empathetic character and the animatronics just seem… broken. They just want to be whole again and they seem to only want to attack Gregory because he took from them. I also think this is a monumental step up from Security Breach. I’m really enjoying this game.

@@Pleshie Pretty sure he was doomed from the start. His room in Security Breach was ALL KINDS of messed up, if I had to guess, most of the damage INSIDE the Pizzaplex in Ruin is due to him still being pissed. Not sure how a robot with NO LEGS can do that kind of damage, but it wouldnt be too much of a stretch

It gets even sadder once you realize that the animatronics in security breach have no spirit possesing them, just an AI that has had its mind partially warped by a virus/security mode. They basically lived through their entire lives being destroyed in one night and possibly had some pretty big issues before it from what some things would imply (the eclipse reboot thing, roxy crying into a mirror, the missing bonnie, chica eating garbage, monty's destruction, and the emails about the raceway being unstable).
“I’ll just- GO AROUND.” I love that episode of distractible so much and how i instantly thought back to that specific episode after mark said that 😭
I love how FNAF went dead silent in 2021-2022 and then we get the movie, Ruin, and HW 2 thrown at us all at the same time like that's just crazy

"Gregory! Where are you going?!" melted my heart. the memories make me wanna cry. and you can also hear them in the other places like the cupcake factory, Roxy raceway, but not in Monty golf?? but what i mean is, its a weird, sad and misty feeling when i hear those voices. especially freddy. i love freddy. ❤💛🩵🤍

Freddy couldn’t see Vanny in the beginning of Security Breach because he was seemingly not in the same network as the other infected animatronics.
So when Gregory asked what “that” was, all Freddy saw was the fountain because he couldn’t see anyone around it.
That would also somewhat explain why if you were in freddy by any chance while Vanny was around she would ignore you. But not because she thought freddy was just normal, she just couldn't see him at all in the first place..

I think it's pretty cool how throughout the game there's like multiple instances that link back to that one line about the walkie talkie where it reveals that roxy is cassie's favorite character. Like how to the soda machines change, how cassie adds a cutout of herself in the hair salon, how roxy is the only animatronic to let her go and apologize and so on
And the walkie talkie she gets at the very beginning where the description says “a Walkie talkie of my favorite character”

@stephaniejones7634 if you deactivate enough wet floor bots, the shutter at the end of the right-most lane of bonnie bowl lifts and you can see glamrock bonnie destroyed on the floor with 4 more wet floor bots around him. you can also get into the room from that vent mark spotted, but again you have to get all of the wet floor bots before the way in can appear

I'm in college for archeology (among other things) and this game is just the coolest thing to me. My natural instinct when I see ruined buildings is to imagine how they once were, but with this you were *here* before, you got to see the Pizzaplex and it's characters in their prime, and now you get to explore their disrepair. I really wish Mark would take in more of the surroundings a bit, because in locations where you visited in the original game, like the lobby, Bonnie Bowl (which I noticed they started to remodel away from Bonnie like they said they would in a note in the first game), and Fazer Blast, you can just imagine what could've happened. Fazer Blast is the coolest though, since some of the lights are still on and the music is still going..but you know, old and out of tune. I could spend forever in there.
This is just awesome for me.

@@tatltails3923 Mmm, I'm not so sure about that. Considering Cassie has a Vanny mask that hides her presence, it's not too far fetched to assume that Vanny herself had similar technology built into her own suit. I think glamrock Freddy couldn't see Vanny because she was wearing a Vanny mask.

The reason why roxy backs off is due to her realising that she isn’t chasing Gregory. Cool detail is that Roxy is Cassie’s favourite, just like how Freddy is Gregory’s favourite. The nice animatronic is always the characters favourite

Roxy isn't just Cassie's favorite, they have history. Cassie had a birthday party and none of her friends came to the party, so Roxy stuck by her and they became friends. Roxy was Cassie's only true friend, which is why she not only let go, but then she apologized and sounded quite confused, but telling by the fact that Roxy can't see, she couldn't tell that the place was in ruin and thought Cassie was ther for a birthday party, so when you actually get close to Roxy later in the game, she says "its on the 11th, right? I'm sure your friends will come this time"

It is the eye thing really, the whole reason the other animatronics werent helping was cause vanni got to them. Seeing the mask and how it works it makes sense cause freddy wasnt part of the vr/ar network but the others were cause freddy never saw vanni but gregory did.

You say this as if in the original series the animatronics didn't have hearts. In the Silver Eyes, Foxy straight up protects a child and hides him inside of Pirates Cove. Of course this is book canon, but it is stated by Phone Guy in FNaF 2 that the animatronics act fine around children, just not around adults.
@@king_aeron Which the new movie is apparently contradicting by having them specifically target the child character. Also the animatronics in the old games were possessed by real people (depending on how you interpret the mechanics of remnant) whereas SB animatronics are just AI.
