Sewing McCall’s Vintage Coat 6490 | Fabric Choices, Planning, Sewing ~ Tailoring Fun

Well after chatting with you about my Autumn sewing plans, my head was filled with thoughts of making the Vintage McCalls coat straight away. I bought the extra supplies I needed to properly tailor my coat the next day and spent a happy day on Sunday sewing the outer coat.
I decided to film holding my camera as I went so I could share some of the process with you. I’m far too impatient to wait until my coat is fully finished to share my progress with you. It’s also rather lovely seeing the insides before they’re all covered by the lining. Of course once I’ve finished coat I’ll be showing it to you in all it’s glory.
