More like for protecting the more valuable livestock, a predator comes by and eats the smaller less valuable goat … it’s wasn’t for laughs
They didn’t do it because it was funny they did it so that the goats couldn’t run away-Only to realize after the fact that it actually wasn’t the best idea because the goats cannot run away when they’re in danger. They basically inhibited these animals natural fight or flight response Humans were gifted with the frontal lobe cortex of the brain but they seldom use it the only species that I know that are so smart that they’re dumb😁

I find it funny and sad, that humans bred goats to lock up when excited or startled. Like who was so amused by it that they spend multiple generations breeding goats to do this and why weren't they incarcerated for insanity.

they can be hurt if they do that in high places, predator attack or are in water or by water they could even drown. poor goats humans can be stupid sometimes in breeding animals for the wrong purposes.
It wouldn’t hurt to make this a decent informative video and naming the condition humans have too and it’s called Myotonia congenita Cloride mitation type.
