Also, with Villa and Fernando Torres (In his prime) I thought was the best striker duo in history. And when you had both strong and Intelligent defenders like Puyol and Capdevila true brick wall right there. Then for goalkeeping you have San Iker Casillas, Victor Valdes (who never conceded a hat-trick) and Pepe Reina (Penalty Expert). With these set of players it’s no mystery why Spain 🇪🇸 dominated World Football ⚽️
And in coming years ..you have Ferran Torres, Gavi, Nico, Pedri...Ansu...another bunch of extremely talented graduates of La Masia (Barcelona) coming up in Spanish NT. I'm from spain and the streak became before even Guardiola step foot on Barcelona managerial position if u want to disturb the history like many barcelona fans go ahead but is not true in 2008 the bassis of the team was Valencia even more than Barcelona players, valdes was not even third choice as keeper it was palop from sevilla, pique was a promise, busquets and pedro where not even consider to be good to even be in the u21, gladly for us they exceded our hopes and became great a few months later but during that euro (2008) was mostly Valencia who had the most players in the squad.
