Love those Metal comps. Oddly enough one of the records I purged this year was the Earthquake soundtrack. Reckless is always a good time. I always spend more than expected there.
Very cool stuff buddy. Metal comps were great for discovery of bands back in the day for me.
Lots of people look down on comps. I really like them though I don’t have any Metal ones. I like the Bangladesh box set. Though I watch the DVD more than I listen to the record.
Very cool Metal Comps! I often buy soundtracks for the Nostalgia feel as well. I Picked up the albums to “Youngblood,” & “The Flamingo Kid.” over the years just bc I loved the movies. 🤦🏻♂️ Great Video.
The new stones is pretty good I also recently picked it up. Those comps are good sometimes they have rare songs or one hit wonders that are hard to find
Thanks for the mention, brother! Those comps are pretty dope. I have that same copy of Master of Reality because I though they neon pink vs the purple was a cool variant. Convert for Bangladesh is great.. I don’t think that’s ever gotten reissued (could be wrong). $19 is a great deal.
Cool pickups Vance! I have a couple of the Sabbath Nems pressings and they do sound good! Those metal comps are fun I went down that rabbit hole about a year ago I have about 50 now like you said great to put on when your looking for some variety🤟
BB VK. Did you see the Chicago Cubs Stones release for Hackney? Checking out the Metal Meltdown and Metal Rage comps. It used to be pretty easy to categorize. Crazy how much metal has changed over the years. There are literally so many heavy metal genres that it gets tough telling one from another. Industrial, viking, metalcore, progressive, speed, neoclassical, pirate and alien deathcore are just a few of the hundreds of metal genres. Crazy. George W and Marilyn M going for a drive.
