This is the El Corte Ingles foodstuffs section, similar to Waitrose in the UK. You could buy cheaper. Given that wages in Spain are lower I think this is expensive.

In Spain, El Corte Ingles is typically one of the most if not the most expensive supermarkets that there is.
You can buy the same products for alot cheaper anywhere else. (Carrefour, El Dia, Aldi, Supercor)

You could buy cheaper. Try Consum, Eroski, Dia, Ahorramás....or the Mercado municipal ;) you will find the same things and quality for half price.
FYI the tap water is Madrid is good for drink, and one of the best in Spain. You don't need to buy water in bottles.
Food in Spain is probably the cheapest in Europe but have the best quality, next time make a video in Mercadona as the prices there are very good compared to other placess

Legally there are differences between naming fruit drinks "Zumo", "Jugo" or "Nectar".

to anyone else reading this: Im from spain and if you go to el corte ingles supermarket (the supermarket in this video), always do this 2 things:
1. check the expiration date of EVERYTHING you buy, specially the chocolate
2. and check if they charged you the right amount of money and not more, look for duplicates
you wont have to do those 2 things in any other supermarket but this one
youll thank me later
a mistake is when something happens once, but when it happens several times, in the same place, its no longer a mistake. Its a pattern

I live in Hawaii which is known to have higher grocery prices averages in the USA I would say meat seems to be very expensive in Spain and if you look around surprisingly meat can be cheap in Hawaii
