Thankfully most people understand that within Peterson's work is the acknowledgement that at the end of the day we all human with innumerable flaws and weaknesses, that life will throw horrible things at us; and that it's way easier to get through it all if you have the support of family, friends, and community. That should any of us fall down, that there can be a helping hand to bring you back up.
Jordan has given so many people a helping hand without ever seeing their faces, and seems only right that the favor be returned when the opportunity arises no?

In my experience, I have seen two different sides of him. I briefly saw him giving solid advice for living a good life and it looked pretty sound to me. However, there is another side where he weighs in on religion and some philosophy. There are the discussions with Matt dillahunty and Sam Harris. I think there might be a tendency among people who already like Jordan Peterson to take his side or see the arguments that he is making as logical, but most of what he said in those debates come off as posturing and he does this thing where he tries to redefine already existing terms. For example, not in those two discussions, in another video where he is at the university that he taught, he is telling a student something like religion is whatever is important to you. So if sports are important to you, then sports are your religion. Of course we know that sports are not a religion. On the other hand we do use the word religion for non-religious things exactly as how he said, except the context of the discussion was about religion. So it seems like he adds this sophistry in order to either intentionally or unintentionally dodge the discussion. That's my early morning take on it. :-)

What an amazing conversation this was. And everytime this man becomes emotional, it's like a stab. The fact that Dr Peterson is willing to allow himself become emotional in front of the entire world despite the mockery he gets for it by the people seeking to destroy him shows you exactly why he can be trusted.
Those people who refuse to let themself be vulnerable and choose instead to become angry and irrational when challenged are the people you need to watch out for. Rather than be genuine and vulnerable, they throw insults and disrespect others. Its the purest demonstration of their malicious intentions. They want to be seen as powerful, while demonstrating their weakness. Peterson shows his weakness, and it makes him powerful

    Dear Piers
I am a 64 year old (going on 65) former (retired) clinical psychologist. I have a degree in philosophy, and I am a student of the history and philosophy of science and political ideology. Jordan Peterson is a breath of fresh ideological air. He speaks in a direct, straightforward, and clear manner, and he connects intellectual dots with clarity, courage, and vigor. Your interview was a triumph of freedom and the commitment to the open consideration of ideas and personalities that we so desperately need in the West. It is thus an antidote to cancelism, cynicism, and intellectual chicanery. Thank you for this bulwark against tyranny, petulance, and misery. God Bless you and God Save The King.

Jordan Peterson is one of the biggest reasons I still have faith in the community as a whole. Seeing the amount of following this man has proves to me there's still more than enough people who want justice and REAL equality. Jordan Peterson is able to bring forward this view in perfect wording which no one else can do the same and with the same effectiveness. He's a man who stands for his own ideas but is not narrow minded towards others. This, for me, is the epitome of balance between compassion and personal beliefs. We support you, Mr. Peterson!
