When u took the clutch plate off…that was a real shocker
That is one of the cleanest yz125s I have ever seen I will be doing that when i get a 125.
I have a yz125 2003 I did same thing it looked brand new
This transformation is awesome! love the look already can’t wait to see the new graphics
That thing had been ridden man, looks great! Always loved the black rear end
Great build bro it looks absolutely insane keep up the grind
Beautiful build as always!!
Missed videos like this
Sweet vid 🤘🏼
Great work. Dudes on the internet be like "don't use a pressure washer to clean your bike or you will ruin all the bearings". This dude: "Yeah, were gonna just vapor blast the whole motor with some plumbing plugs" Nice. Ps. I use a pressure washer to clean my bike despite it not being rebuilt every week.... does great.
Damn that looks clean now
Looks amazing
Nice. I just started a 97 yz125 build. Everything is disassembled. Should be fun.
Awesome build, do you use the memlon or aluminum levers in the arc perches?
Killed it 🔥 love 125s
Great job! How much did the full rebuild cost?
Looks sweet, is the upper subframe bolt missing ?
We need a yz250 build
freaken sick
Crazy how many bolts and steps u gotta take in order and y’all make it look easy
quads are way worse, forget it lol
@@in7el11its all easy when everything works the way it should. We all know it never really goes that way though lol.
this is perfect, when i type in 125 build this is what i meant. such a clean bike!
Where did you get those washers for the exhaust braces?
Nice video
how much do you charge to vapor blast ?
For being a 21 the thing looked really rough.
Yeah
Budget
i think thats why they completely disassembled the entire thing and rebuilt it dude ….
@@1999evo I’m aware. It just looks more like a 06 because of how hard it was ridden.
@@zook_291 bike looks like it was with in Philly because the 215 sticker that explains y it’s beat
pretty bad ass like the forks
Cleanest build I’ve seen but I am subscribed to you I’ve seen your videos and I honestly love them that’s why I’m subscribed but just one thing needed on this build I think was a lectron carburetor
As always man another dope ass build I want to trade my pitster pro x4r an my drz 110 with kitaco complete 143se head an cylinder to get another big bike twostoke 125 or 250 don’t matter just wanna get back in one again
So basically just paint the frame and swing arm black and put a few trick parts on it and it’s godly. Noted.
how much did the full rebuild cost? looking to strip my bike this winter
What are those foot pegs, and will they fit a 00’ rm125?
Quite a nice dirt scooter indeed
What is that beat starting at 11:16? that is absolutely fire
can u link all the things u used to tune it?
Where would I go to get my front forks coated like that?
Damn love making a 21 look like a 2018 😅it’s a preference but because the blue wheels only on the newer bikes it just makes it look older and the black frame doesn’t pop as much but it’s cool for what he imagined jus rlly does look like a older bike now
I love that I can barely tell any difference in my 2007
tyler finally realized his kx blew up so much because of lean-trons 😂
Does not know how to read a spark plug?
sweet
Yamaha the best
NEVER trust someone whos airbox looks liks that, holy shit
It looks great now. I couldn't believe the clutch, it had to be making a horrible noise.
How much for those stock blue wheels?
Hi Tyler biggest fan of your utube videos I have a 2001 yz 125 and bougs out a lot no power idk if the power bands are sticking or carb is shit I see u do a great job rebuilding bikes I don’t know what else to do with it
The power band is not a part. It is a description of how the engine makes power in the rpm range that is usable. A dyno chart is a visual of the power band or "Power curve". Now, for your question. You only need 3 things to be right for the engine to run.
1) You need enough compression so the fuel will burn and make power. All you need to check there is ring wear and cylinder wear. The plating lasts a long time, and you can usually get 4 or 5 sets of piston/rings out of it before it starts wearing through.
2) You need spark at the right time. If you have spark, (it is running so you do), and the flywheel key is in there, (the time will be right), you are probably good there.
3) you need a good fuel/air mix, which is the carb and jetting.
That is assuming the engine is not leaking air, (seals and gaskets), and the everything is ion working order,---including your reed valve petals.
No air leaks, good reeds, and those other 3 things fine, and it will run.
1 way to see if the engine is leaking air is to do what is called a "leak down test", where you plug off the exhaust, intake and spark plug hole, put a low pressure air gauge in any of those, with a shreader valve, (like that vale stem for a car tire or bicycle tire) in one of the plates so you can pump about 7psi into the engine. If you blocked off the intake, exhaust and plug well, and it does not hold air, you have an air leak somewhere. Use soap and water to find it, including crank seals and gaskets.
There may be a leak down test kit sold, but I make my own.
My guess with out looking at the bike myself is 1) your compression is low, 2) your reed petals are broken, (makes a bike hard to start, but if broken enough, blows back a lot of the cran case compression back into the carb area, and gets super rich. Also, learn how to read a spark plug, because that can tell you a lot about how the bike is running.
Where did you get the plastics from?
Today's plastics are designed by Batman, and Robin sells them to the factories. Batman art,--not on my dirt bike. :)
How do you keep track of all the bolts and where they go?
Take notes if you have to.
Duuuuuuuuuu. All the love then put a tusk Shifter !!? 🥲
what does it sound like
why you don't put in the video the SOUND CHECK????? anfter that GOOD jobs, it's a dream build
great job any bikes you can give away let me know.
Man my yz looked just like this before i sold it 😢
* Same graphics, same seat cover, similar mods etc
Wow
Sweeeeert
Why only rebuild two smokers,do a 4 stroke
🎉
If your selling tell me
‼️
Where'd you get the yellow dunlop tire stickers?
he used a paint marker and drew over the engraved writing in the tire.
@@dougmartin4037 I did that too. I did not run that tire though so I don't know how it holds up. I wish Dunlop would paint them at the factory, because just throwing stickers on them is like third world crap to me.
Bro if you leg hit that footpeg shi your leg is done for 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
That thing is bad to the bone!!
bro the bike from the beginning was pristine ? why not get like a 04' steely boi & teach people how to actually do a budget build 😂😂 as opposed to a fuckin brand new bike essentially?
Démarre !!!!!
what jets are you running?
My bet is they don't know how to jet the carb. Not too many people did a good job of it when 2-strokes were king either. Even if he jetted it well, you will probably have to have yours different for peak performance. There is no 'once size fits all" because of different air quality around the world, and the different types of riding we all do. Sand for example puts more load on the engine, so if you jetted on the edge on harder ground, then run in the sand, you will probably at last put a hole in the piston. That is why even the "pro mechanics" had a few bikes burn up at Southwick.
Because there is no "one size fits all" for jetting, the factories have to ship them rich. I don't care what MXA says, (used to be a much more technical mag), every 2-stroke with a carb is jetted rich from the factory, and will gain noticeable performance if you get it jetted crisply.
