i loved hades 1 so its annoying that i just cant seem to find any enjoyment in this one . idk what it is about it but i literally just dont like anything . i dislike the dash sprint ability . i hate the cast. the only weapon i like is the twin blades.. idk why but no matter what i try i just dont enjoy playing this game so i guess ill be waiting for its full release to give it another chance
its gonna take people a WHILE but this opinion is creeping up on the community and its inevitable. I feel you 100% i do not enjoy this right now even if i enjoy a lot the combat and weapons are soooo boring and it makes me mad in a way i rarely get over video games
I played it for a couple of hours and it's certainly alot of fun and just as addicting as the first. The only thing is I liked the visuals of the first game better.
Its actually about 50 percent done according to the devs, not 99 percent.
1st run, gotta beat it 10x for real ending.

played it but refunded. Seems its not so good as OG. Synthetic 2 better.
I don't really agree regarding the build diversity in my experience the enemies are giant hp sponges and if you don't get the right synergies it feels terrible to play

@@PlanBeamin I think the people who like it have watched or done a lot of runs and know which boons to take depending on the weapon. I like the game a lot too now.
I was going in blind and taking things that sounded good and that was absolutely terrible to play. Still think that's bad design

After doing some quick googling it looks like this game is involved with SBI or an ESG affiliated company. And SBI/ESG is a gamer taboo like NFT's
I don't know how much damage they can do to the story and characters compared to Spiderman 2 and Horizon Zero Dawn 2 but personally I'm not excited about that part.

The only reason I played the original Hades was because of how hardcore I felt when I beat Returnal. That introduced me into Rogue-Likes and Souls Like games… please comment more recommendations
Dead Cells easy recommend.
Binding of Isaac is a classic, dead cells is great too, risk of rain 2 is a great 3rd person shooter & roboquest if you like FPS shooters. I feel like that’s a pretty god tier list
Astral Ascent
For a very unique and very different roguelike I recommend Slay The Spire, it is a deck builder rogue like. Like I said very different but with a unique art style and a very very very vague story, it's sequel was recently announced. 2 of my favourite rogue likes both get a sequel.
Dead Cells, Enter the Gungeon and The Binding of Isaac (aka the absolute GOAT)
Worse than the original. Mobs aren't fun to kill, Ability options are boring and not innovative. Just something about the story is not engaging as the original which makes me not care to play further.

I played hades 2 technical test and it was an interesting game in my opinion.
Loved hades 1, love 2 more. More content better in all ways and it’s not even the full game. Only thing they said they might not be able to save files from early access when game releases. Just like do I wanna get thru the whole early access and be forced to start fresh 🤷♂️ still playing though 😂

I was pleasantly surprised with the first Hades FINALLY beating Hades then there was still post game stuff to have and character development/storylines. Was a nice touch
In defense of the game industry, this isn't exactly a wide open first person open world game. It's a fixed viewpoint / distance iso action game, fairly similar to the original. This looks like Doom ][ as compared to Doom.
Looks awesome, by the way, I just don't think it's some accomplishment that it's so far along.

Hades was great but lacked the replay value of juggernaut like Issac and slay the spire. So far the build variety seems better

Saying that With 24 Weapons in the game AND the Pact of Punishment, Story that Continues until Past even the 10th run AND dialogue that never seems to exhaust is wild.
I picked it up and played it for 50 minutes and man so far it's so much fun.
