At least the second lap Bullet allowed you to take the fun route on Jank Jank Summit, which brings me to my #1 complaint about the course. All the "pro" and "competitive" players skip the fun part because it just happens to be the long way around the double gap jump. I'm not against shortcuts, generally speaking, but when a shortcut has a ridiculous difficulty level and the slow route is the only fun part on the course, that's the kind of shortcut I'm against. I've also never had much of a reason to use the Varmint. My favorite vehicles tend to have 4 wheels, which the Varmint doesn't, and if I want a vehicle body in that specific stat class, give me the Pipe Frame any day. Speaking of the Pipe Frame, hopefully you see me use it in less than 3 hours. Tri-Speeder, Wood tires, and Gold Glider may look weird, but the only part that's actually "bad" is the Tri-Speeder. Even then, I have 2 or 3 fun builds that use it. I refuse to call the Wood tires "bad" because they're the ones that are used for my Huge Island build, and even without that fact, they're going to be used with the Pipe Frame in less than 3 hours. As for the Gold Glider, gliders have minimal impact on the overall build, so even the "worst" gliders are still decent. Floppa going on the offensive, telegraphing his move, and failing to take into account that you might have a red shell was almost as funny of a Mario Kart moment as the one I told you about this morning, with the Abyssgard twins hitting a rat with a Bullet at Koopa Cape. F for that Mount Wario finish. Prancer, Crimson Slim tires, and Waddle Wing glider is further down the list than Tri Speeder, Wood tires, and Gold Glider? But the Prancer is better than the Tri-Speeder, both tires share stats, and there's minimal difference in the gliders. What... the *BEEP* happened... at Rome?!? Iggy At The Mall, but with Plane instead of Gold (though both gliders share stats)? Let's go! 😆 The Handling may be so bad, but at least Iggy does a better job with it than Roy does. That was a great race at Madrid. 👏 Not sure how to feel about the rest of the video, but at least you're shaking off some 150cc rust for tonight.
That was a ton of bad luck. More than usual. I shook it off after, so there will be a bonus video I'll upload at some point after the Tournament. Not going to upload both at once, but maybe I'll put the bonus one up on Christmas Eve or something.
