This is a great masterpiece of a story ... you hear the music but there is nobody playing it on the scene. That means they have it in their hearts and minds ... and there is something more important developing, once the dance is getting under way ... ``you are getting it" I watched this for 100 times, and it always seems to give different vibes. That is real art! You can write your PhD on this....
It's called extradiegetic music, no need for a PhD :) (But the whole film Zorba the Greek, is definitely worth watching by all lovers of arts in general, and cinema in particular) :)

I was at the Greekfest all this last weekend in New Orleans and it was a blast! They have a super tight knit Greek community here and their balalaikas playing the bouzouki music is so romantic and soulful. The Greek band always finishes up the event each night playing Zorba the Greek. It's a sight to behold with many people young and old doing that soulful Greek dance. 🇬🇷 OPA! 🇬🇷 OPA! 🇬🇷👍🏻

As i can see on the hearts with your comment that it must have been such a good experince you have had together with your father. I know there is some hard scenes ln the film, based on the novel by Nikos Kazantakiz, that must have been hard to understand for a five year old child, but there is still so many heart warming scenes beside them to remember and it is also a fantastic adventure to be introduced to. I remember this movie as alternately confusing and horrifying until this scene. All of a sudden it made sense. I can't believe it ws almos 60 years ago and I still remember it so well.

Anthony Quinn actor mexicano: puro talento. Agustin Vedros: hombre griego. Como es que dos personas de diferentes países pueden parecerse tanto sin ser familia? Cuanto más miro a Anthony más me recuerda a mi abuelo Agustín; quien fue un hombre decente, patriarca como pocos, pues dio patenidad a muchos sin que tuviera nexo filial. Hasta en esa danza griega lo veo muy parecido. Mi querido abuelo, cuánto lo extraño.

Przecież Wiktoria Nuland przyznała, ze USA zainwestowało w sfinansowanie przewrotu politycznego (płacono snajperom za strzelanie do ludzi w Kijowie) w 2014 roku, przez kilka lat, 5 mld dolarów. Przez Ukrainę Chiny miały poprowadzić Nowy Jedwabny Szlak, przez Polskę do Niemiec i dalej na zachód. USA przegrywa wojnę gospodarczą z Chinami i USA musiało na Ukrainie wywołać zastępczą wojnę między NATO i Federacją Rosyjską, wymierzoną przeciwko Chinom. Teraz Chiny są zmuszone do przesyłania towarów drogą morską, a główne szlaki morskie wiąż kontroluje (jeszcze) flota morska USA.
Wmówiono Ukrainie, że może należeć do NATO, już wkrótce, i do Unii Europejskiej, choć w ogóle nie spełnia żadnych warunków, żeby być przyjęta do obu organizacji. Szkolono na zachodzie Europy paramilitarne samozwańcze ugrupowania nazywające się pułkiem "Azow" oraz pułkiem "Aidar", a tam neonaziści, ciała wytatuowane w symbole III Rzeszy Niemieckiej: swastyki i symbole SS.
