They wanted war, they knew Russia would act if they keep pushing on them, so now US happy have their proxy war. 100% US secret services destroyed nordstream, its destroying EU economy, Russia economy, but not US economy(have u heard call from V.Nuland? Regarding intent, what about the fact that very early on in the invasion of Ukraine, the soldiers took everything out of Ukrainian museums? Seems obvious to me that they wanted
to eliminate artifacts showing that Ukraine has a history that is separate from Russia, an identity, and of course valuable objects for theft. And what about the forced Russian "education" and

At the time of the 2014 Russian invasion of Crimea, Ukraine was in the process of offshore natural gas development which would have threatened the stranglehold Russia had over EU Energy requirements - reserves estimated equivalent to Norway which provides 15% of EU energy needs. Those resources remain undeveloped, with western energy corporations pulling out of the threatened area. What a coincidence the invasion took out a potential competitor to Russian energy hegemony.

Civilised countries don't behave like the savages they want to condemn. Torture doesn't extract reliable information- it just makes Russia look desperate to try and get confessions to fit what they want to hear and undermines their credibility. A warning of attacks on concerts in Moscow was given based on intelligence and Putin was foolish to dismiss it and leave innocent civilians unprotected. This is one of the biggest concert halls and appropriate security had obviously not been put in place.
I've yet to see anything concrete apart from confessions given under duress that connects the 'suspects' to the extra event.
The attackers filmed themselves, uploaded the video to a drop box account that IS then released. That shows the connection with IS.

This podcast ia a mixture of cautious optimism, reluctant pessimism, barely concealed desperation, steely resolution, selective focus, jingoistic patriotism & promotion of dangerous & reckless escalation. In fact, everything but an acknowledgement that negotiations on behalf of a broken & exhausted nation are crucial & inevitable. Promises of inevitable ultimate victory by Boris & NATO were baseless, and cost Ukraine the opportunity to end the conflict before the catastrophe we are now witnessing. Educational in a sad way. Too late to save Ukraine, but maybe a warning for NATO's next proxy.

The Germans will not possess a single battle-ready division until 2025. They had 12 during the Cold War. France has approximately 90 operational artillery pieces. A year ago the Russians were losing that many a month. How are NATO states gonna protect a non-NATO state when they don't have the capacity to protect themselves? Indeed the lengths they go to to avoid civilian casualties would not only shame Bashar Al Assad's forces in Syria but would shame US and British forces fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan who also took measures to minimise civilian causalities. Lord Roberts the historian has calculated that the IDF civilian to enemy combatant ratio is 2:1. Normally urban fighting where care in taken would be around 7:1. The reason there are civilian casualties at all is that Hamas have embedded their military infrastructure in civilian areas on purpose. The IDF are pursuing the goal of degrading that military infrastructure. This is no genocide, it is a legitimate, if horrific, military operation. Finally Russia is targeting civilians in Ukraine.
