Great video!! The only problem I can see with some open world games is they aren't filled enough or feel empty, or rather since it's so big the only reward for finding secrets/ exploring are items that you will never use or are practically useless. Also I find it hard to replay open world games because I love to explore but after the first playthrough I don't get to go on an adventure in the world that I didn't know what was coming next.
I really enjoyed skyrim but I dont really like that when im trying to finish a quest I get dragged into other quests and quests It got really tiring to me, I just want to do one thing at a time 🤕
that’s a pretty valid complaint with the genre, it can definitely get pretty exhausting when the game continually throws quest after quest at the player
Open world games are the most oversaturated type of game, so naturally, the games will be all over the place. You can make a cookie cutter-copy-pasted annual release like Assassins Creed, or you can make a genuinely fun and varied experience like Tears of The Kingdom. It is definitely the genre with some of the highest highs and biggest sighs.

that’s so real. my favorite and least favorite games are both open worlds 💀
this is so true, hating on the open world format is the most millenial thing you can do
