Stake arrows are also useful for korok transport. Shoot one from the endpoint to the korok, attach it to the stake, then rewind the stake to send the korok flying right to his friend!
Great point!
d000000000000d you're gunna save me like 50 hours on this playthrough
What a wondeful idea ❤
...but can't you do the same with any item? Shoot an apple fused to an arrow, then attach the korok and recall the apple?
Never would have guessed you could aim cannon weapons
You can fuse muddle buds to the eightfold blade and as long as direct contact is not made with he sword, the wind gusts will provide the muddle effect at a range.
That’s insane! I’m gonna have to give that one a try!
@@LionsShareYTif your gonna try that why not the puff shroom as well?
@@wildstorm3486 Good thinking!
I'm gonna try it with the magic rod
Holy shit are you serious glad bless u thanks!!!
Elemental keese wings on boomerangs I found to be especially powerful since they get the "soaring" effect which extends the range they can be thrown while also getting the elemental effects
Great point! The extended range is a big buff for boomerangs.
Tried this it worked so well I got a silver book low enough to easily finish off
The honey actually has the "rod" type fusion tag, meaning that like gemstones when you stick it on a rod/staff/scepter it has a special effect. It still summon bees, but they will not aggro on yourself.
Interesting!
Appreciate your calm tone and polite attitude.
Thank you! I appreciate your appreciation. :)
You can also fuse Boomerangs with Hydrants. Takes care of sludge and magma without expending durability or hydro fruits
I bet that’s really helpful for Mucktorok rematches.
@@LionsShareYT And here I was just planning on using a Homing Cart, a Big Wheel, and a pair of Hydrants. Maybe a pair of Shock Emitters in the front for contact damage, and a stabilizer if it turns out top heavy. Haven't done any of the rematches myself yet, just planning for them.
Yes, hydrant boomerang is my favorite way of dealing with mucktorok. Quick and convenient.
Arrow Cannons are particularly most useful when you can't use regular bombs in extremely hot areas, but still want to blow stuff up.
Fair point. Always good not to blow yourself up.
I mean, fuse that cannon to a weapon and you get a lot more uses out of it, but I guess it’s good for a long range explosion.
Fun fact, if you have sidon use his power on you your wetness effect will apply to the bomb arrows which does let you use them in magma places apparently. Not sure about bomb spears tho. Sidon's bubble also apparently makes electric arrows always do the big electric attack that they do when they hit water/metal
I usually just go with Yunobomons roll attack
Cannon spears u aim to throw the spear and it shoots the Canon wherever your pointing
The stake and hover stone combos are true genius, particularly if you fall short of an island but can't locate a place to stand to use ascend, that's an incredibly useful fuse to know about.
Glad I could help! :)
I have found 2 excellent uses for chu-chu jelly fusions:
1. Adding a standard blue chu-chu jelly to a Forest Dweller sword can be an excellent source of getting Link wet. This can be combined with Zora weapons to get an enhanced weapon buff due to Water Warrior.
2. Fusing a fire chu-chu jelly to a torch can create a self-lighting torch when thrown.
Nice! Yeah, Water Warrior is a nice effect
bee fusion is actually really helpful in technical builds because construct heads will target bees as a threat. You can use them to make all sorts of things, from weird vehicles to pulse lasers
Somebody else commented this as well! That’s super cool, and I wish I’d known that before making the video. I’ll definitely be looking into that some more.
New Zelda totk user and hands down one of the most helpful. Thank you for not rushing through! Many of the folks posting tips and tricks vids speak so fast I can get much out of them.
Thanks! I’m glad I could help! Enjoy the game!
i just discovered that zonai homing cart + shield also works like a skateboard. looks cool too!
It’s cool. I just wish it actually was motorized
agreed, shame it's not. i'll talk to eiji@@LionsShareYT
@@rsnbrgjrdn man, I wish I was on a first-name basis with Aonuma-san
I haven’t always loved fuse because it makes the game more complicated, but now I’m becoming more curious to discover the combos that work best for my fighting style. I’m definitely more of a sniper type than a hand to hand type, so arrows are my best friend!
I’m glad I could help. ;)
To add on to the Zonai Emitter boomerang point, Lizalfos Tails are also quite fun on boomerangs.. There isn't a beam emitter equivalent but it looks like they have a similar range and added damage, plus non-elemental variants that could deal even more damage.
Another person mentioned this, too, and I hadn’t thought about the increased damage output. I’ll have to look into that.
That and they look cool as hell.
The forest dweller fusion is super useful! I have almost 400 hours in and completely ignored this weapon.
It’s a great one, for sure!
Yeah me too tho tbh. I dislike having to get up close to use it tho and I usually use staffs for elemental effects
The ice sheet fusion trick absolutely blew my mind. Thank you!
Glad I could help!
Elemental lizalfos tails on boomerangs work well, as they stretch out when used.
I also use the dragon spike shards for elemental arrows, instead of gems
Yeah, I’ve been avoiding the dragon materials, but I probably could include them now. I mentioned Lizalfos tails in my last fuse video, but putting it on a boomerang is a good call.
Is there a way to farm dragon shards efficiently? I remember it taking forever 😳
@@arielcuster6660yeah when you're focused on them you have to wait around a lot for them to respawn. I just climb atop of them when I get the chance. Usually with a rocket or via a skyview tower nearby
@@LionsShareYT Old tip for dragon parts, but using them in a construct makes it so said build gains the DP's despawn distance, which is the longest in the game. Not sure about the spikes, but the classic four (Scale, Claw, Fang, Horn) all work. It also applies to Auto Build dragon parts, not just the originals.
Bees don't do a lot of damage on their own, but the zonai device heads that will seek and target enemies will prioritize bees over everything else. So if you make a drone attack device using the heads to seek out enemies, honey fused weapons are a way to target specific enemies.
That’s really cool! I’m definitely testing that out!
The heart stones you get from the elemental talus enemies are good tools for ice and fire. The fire one fused to a torch can be used to strike ice to melt it quickly without the torch taking any damage. The ice heart works like you showed in the video but doesn't melt. But using it near lava will make the entire torch evaporate, so using it to a metal weapon is a better idea.
Those are good ones, too!
The Frost Emitter Boomerang is one of my favorite fusions. I love being able to freeze an entire camp at once. It has the benefit over the Saphire Rod of being easier to repair with Rock Octorocks. The only downside is that it can get caught on terrain in cramped areas.
I could definitely see it getting cramped.
I’m about to finish the game and just now realized I haven’t experimented with the fusion mechanics at all hahaha damn
It’s easy to do.
My must have/ go-to fusions in my inventory re:
Shield -
- rock/talus stone hearts (to help break ores without the need to worry about weapons + fuse a Korok rock for easy puzzle solving)
- luminous talus stone heart (automatic luminating device + time keeping device due to it glowing during night time)
- rocket fused for quick way up
- elementally fused (either ice/fire talus hearts or gleeok horns) for easy elemental access (e.g. hot and cold areas + melting of ice + bonus fire or electric gleeok horn shield bash for Gibdo)
- frost emitter (instant freeze of enemies so they can't run away, e.g. yigas + can be used together with sneak strike by freezing them and walking behind them for extra bonus attack points)
- cannon (for breaking of HUGE rock formations or mobs of enemies, particularly useful in Gerudo and the Depths)
That’s a great list! I just learned the other day that you can use fused Korok rocks to solve puzzles-I’m going to have to mess around with that some more.
Weapons -
- white/silver lynel saber horn on Gerudo Scimitar of the Seven for extra damage boost (can be used to cut down tree enemies in 1 fell)
- Molduga Jaw on Scimitar of the Seven (or high damage weapons of your choice) for extra damage boost (when used with bone armor) + blunt damage (can break ores in 1 hit if it has more than 40 damage-per-hit on a single-handed weapon)
- cannon fused on a long-throw spear/sturdy wooden stick (for easy aiming/ shooting of cannons if you don't want to use it on a shield)
** extra weapons if you have slots:
- Elemental items on Eightfold longblade (creates a gust of wind with elemental effects)
* using Gleeok horns for no down time/ cooldown
- dazzlefruit on a forest dweller sword/spear (best used on stal enemies, can be reused + instant death on stals) -ve point: it has a downtime so can't be used immediately unlike thrown objects
@@LionsShareYTthanks for the reply! sometimes if I have the slots, I'll have 1 rock fused on my shield and 1 on my weapon, in case there're puzzles that needed 2 rocks.
Or if I'm lazy to carry a rock, I'll just unfuse a random on my weapon/shield and fuse the rock, then once solved, I'll unfuse the rock to get back the fused weapon/shield of choice. XD
@@hq3727 it sounds like you’ve played around with fuse as much as I have! ;)
So happy finding this as I begin my new play through. Thank you.
Glad I can help!
Clicked on my subscription tab at the perfect time! I’m excited to watch!
Thanks! I hope you enjoy it!
Fun fact, cart and icy meat shields do basically the exact same thing. Though what'd you like to have for it? Skateboard shield (that works on any surface) or.... A literal slab of meat from the freezer (that also works on any surface. Even sand/snow which is kinda surprising)
Personally I prefer the Zonai devices, but yeah, icy meat is good too. :)
Excellent video, and your sign-off guaranteed my subscription! Thank you, and God bless you, as well!
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed the video! God bless!
Thank you for making this video. Awesome tips 😁.
My pleasure! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Very well curated list here, I knew most of this even if I haven't used many of them, but I really like the extra info you give. Octo balloons in shrines I have not seen...
Before I had a clue how to use fusion properly, I made a cannon bat (sturdy thick stick + cannon), using it sparingly it lasted forever. I never tried the throwing technique, but as a two-handed weapon, you could generally aim a shot directly in front of you. The cannon ball would shoot at the apex of the swing unless the bat actually hits something, then you blow yourself up.
Also, I can't stand surprise skeletons, so I love the forest spear with sparkle berries. Wish I knew it worked with brightblooms before.
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
Really cool video 🔥
Will try these out
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video!

Mind blown! So many great ideas!
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed it!
OMG NEW VIDEO YAYYYY!
Don't have the gave myself but I luv watching ur vids XD
It’s good to be back! :)
It's far from the highest DPS, but Royal Weapon + Ice Gleeok Horn gets surprisingly high DPS on a flurry rush due to the multiplier against frozen targets
Good choice!
Great video, gonna continue playing my game. Only finished 50% of it. Some great tips here.
Thanks! Glad the video was helpful! Truth be told, I still haven’t finished the game yet either. 🙃
Haha yeah, I started off so well but then I fell off. Gotta get back to it. The only thing i dont like is that i got punished for exploring. I explored alot, and then did 2 temples but I think my exploring has kinda fucked up my game. Because all enemies are really really strong, so its really hard to farm materials to upgrade gear now. @@LionsShareYT
@@Astronic certain areas should have static spawns of weaker enemies
Thank you for this!
My pleasure! Glad I could help!
the eightfold blade/feathered edge one blew my mind wow ty
I’m glad I could help! Thanks for watching the video. :)
i'm not very far into the game yet, but i learned a few very neat things i would probably not thought about trying, like the frozen meat shield or the balloons. they are generally mostly useless so i tend to forget about them. I like the boomerang trick and i'll give a shot to the smoke mushrooms too !
There’s just so much you can do in this game! Glad you found some good tips!
"How many of these fusions did you know about?"
None because I just got the game 😅
But I am so glad I found this video!!
Glad to be of service!
Definitely add the link to the first video in the description!
Thanks for the suggestion!
Thanks @PointCrow for teaching me about the long blade
He does try a lot of things
The boomerange thing is really cool. I would have never thought of that.
It’s a nice way to get those elemental effects from a safe distance. Glad I could help!
Those rolling devices dropped after defeating a flux construct fused to a shield are very effective against the little stone taluses of any element. Just perform a shield attack and they are gone without hurting you (even miasma).
Big lightning flowers are super helpful if attached to any flying device while exploring the depth, because they dont't need battery and still light while just parking on the ground.
Yep! Those are helpful as well!
I usually use gleeok horns for boomerangs they have the same effect as keese and aroukooda wings on a boomerang (extra range) and do the same thing as a bunch of the zonal parts
I think the Gleeok Wings give the extra distance. I’m pretty sure the horns are just very powerful elemental damage. Plus, Zonai parts are more accessible for most players.
wow thanks for some useful tips
Glad I could help!
Background music is from skyward sword pumpkin Tavern during octo balloon part
Yeah, I’m pretty fond of SS music.
Played so much of this game and watching makes me want to play again. But since I accidentally updated I was kinda miffed
I think there’s still plenty of fun to be had without the major glitches
@@LionsShareYT I know and same as Skyrim I wish never played on the computer cause of how easy it was to cheat, but now I have to kill multiple Lynals as I can’t just duplicate their drops ahhhh
Thanks for the info. I have no idea how to use all the monster parts I've collected. A video on how to use those parts would be greatly appreciated.
I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I’ll think about a video for monster parts. :)
Great video! Turns out I haven’t been using boomerangs the way I should have
Thanks! Boomerangs are definitely underrated a lot.
great ideas!
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
That last one IS an ice trick; a really nice trick! 😂
🤣
Great video but the zonai emitters are kinda pointless when gleeok horns do the same thing but with 30 extra damage and they don't drain your battery.
I’m glad you enjoyed the video! It’s a fair point, but Zonai emitters are more accessible. Gleeok Horns take a bit more skill to obtain.
@@LionsShareYT Fair enough! I'm just making sure you knew because I've seen a fair few videos like this where they just didn't know gleeok horns existed. Either way you've earned yourself a subscriber!
I love the lizalfos boomerang because if you attach the right parts to it then it will pretty much turn it into a sword that can still be thrown and come back.
Agreed
Stake arrows pin into walls, but do they pin into stone/battle talos which are a hybrid entity/climbable surface? Battle varieties have actual ground on them (boko wooden fortresses as a hat) would it work on them?
Great questions! I would be inclined to say no. In my experience, stakes only stick into permanent surfaces. You can’t insert stakes into the sides of ruins rubble that falls from the sky, but if it’s planted in the ground permanently, you can.
Yolu forgot to point out that stake arrows are awesome with recall time ability - you can use it to travel back from where you shot the arrow
True, though this is true of numerous fusions.
Stake arrows are also useful for getting back to low sky islands you fall off. Fire the arrow to the ground as you fall off the sky island then when it hits the ground, stand on the stake and recall it back to the sky island.
Yeah, the recall tip is a great tip I definitely should have included.
Cannon weapons are really good on talusses.
Sees it in action, with 2 whole mighty pixels going off that healthbar. xD
2 pixels is a lot xD
8:18 honestly an improvement is using Lizalfos tails. You get a higher damage buff, still get elemental effects, and while the zonai devices don't need a direct hit, the tails add significant size to the boomerang hit box.
Seriously throw a giant boomerang with an Ice Lizalfos tail and try to miss the the enemy.
Yeah, a couple other people mentioned the same thing. It’s a great point.
When I first bought the game, I was so excited to try fusing an ice material to my shield and see if it would let me shield surf on water, but was disappointed to find that nothing happens
But there's still plenty you can do with ice sheets made with water, like Fuse ice onto a weapon for both pseudo-Cryonis and a fan weapon, use Ultrahand and Recall to make the ice a moving platform that can get you distance or height (especially with the help of Ascend), or, for a much more niche application, maybe you can include an ice sheet in an Autobuild as a timer, where when the ice melts, the things it's connected to get disconnected
I've never once used ice sheets as a timer for Autobuild creations (in fact, I literally just came up with the idea right now lol), but it'd be interesting to see what's possible with that 🤔
That timer is a neat idea. Like a time release trap or something for enemies.
Had an new idea to add to this: have a flame emitter pointed at the ice, so that the ice melts faster
Maybe you could have some things get propelled by rockets or wheels, then split off within a few seconds 🤔
If you fuse elemental types to weapons they regulate your temperature too. Too hot, bring out your sapphire sword, too cold bring out a fire lizalfos sword
Yeah, that’s definitely an added plus for all elemental weapons.
Do ice chubk that you get from melting ice block work the same as icy meats on your shield?
I think so, but I’m pretty sure they go away faster.
I never used any to test it, but I always assumed the forest dweller weapons were for other weapons. Specifically for like gloom weapons, since they could act like a hilt so you don't take the gloom damage, and recover the broken sword tip when it ran out of durability.
I’m pretty sure that doesn’t work, but I’ll test it out. It’s an interesting idea!
An easier way to traverse water with ice is to fuse an ice blade to your eightfold long blade. One slash should create many blocks of ice. A rod works too.
That said, I knew all these points except the brightbloom which is superseded by placing it on your hoverbike. Great video all the same.
Thanks! I appreciate the feedback. It’s a fair point about the eightfold longblade. I like to include some of these things more because they are neat and could come in handy, depending on your materials.
People keep talking about hover stone arrows, but I’ve never even seen hover stones, and I’ve been playing the game like non stop for the last 3 weeks.
You can only get them from like one or two Zonai device dispensers. I think one of them is on the way to the water temple.
4:05 one bursting item that can work with the forest dwellers weapons is courser honey, at least i believe it’s one uses last time i could remember, it can summon an army of bees to attack other enemies, as for more practical uses it has been used in conjunction with pulse lasers to reach insane levels of damage but i’m not the right person to explain how that works
5:15 the wind clever has two other combinations you have haven’t covered yet, you can fuse a muddle bud to a wind clever to muddle you enemies with its air slashes, which works for some reason, just don’t directly hit you enemies with the actual weapon so to not break the muddle bud on it
another fusion can be the wind clever with a gibdo bone, the gibdo bone turns the wind clever into a mace like weapon, all you need to do is to hit enemy with a spinning charge attack to break the gibdo bone and you’ll become a useless but fun spinning whirlwind
I talked about courser bee honey later in the video. It doesn’t count as a bursting item, though. Someone else did mention the muddlebud + windcleaver combo (which I had missed), but the gibdo bone one is interesting! I feel like that probably works only because the gibdo bone instantly breaks on first hit, forcing the windcleaver to return to its prior state while you’re locked into a spin.
Something I’d like to see a vid on is how to properly use light dragon parts. When fused to a weapon, they heal you with each hit (but iirc it’s like a meager quarter heart). Would be cool if there was a way to make it heal for more.
It is a quarter heart, and as far as I know there’s not anyway to increase that amount, but I’ll look into it! Thanks for the suggestion!
Zonai Hydrant boomerang is amazing against Mucktorok
Yeah, I could see that
Link looks like Aladdin with that sled in the desert.
I see it
1:22 how about when an enemy grabs a bomb barrel to come throw it at you.. can u fire an octorok balloon at the barrel and he goes into the air as it holds it over his head?
Hm. Not sure. I might test that out. My guess is it will just count as hitting the enemy.
i dont think anyone has found this yet which is wild but there is a secret spot on the tail of the final boss dragon fight which has a scale you can harvest and fuse its really strong and has a unique effect
I’ll look into that.
By the way if you want to get the 5th sage super early. Just go to the area where in Botw the lake with the shock dragon comes out of the lake, depending on what side you approach, a piece of falling rock will drop down just below the waterfall that has a shrine in it in Botw. The falling rock will lead you to thunder dragon Island where you will need 10 ❤ to open the door and use the guide stone that will lead you to the 5th sage area and completely avoid the main story line. 😢🎉🎉
Yep
Turns out you can even ascend from the bottom of the chamber island and avoid the 10 hearts required to open the gate.
I got Mineru before Yunobo😂
Mineru was my first one lol
I bet the octo balloons would work with multi-shot bows that spread further
I did try that. I think it doesn’t work because they don’t want players using multi-shot bows to duplicate items.
U can attach muddle buds to any weapon with the wind scythe attack and just use the wind attack to confuse them without using up the bud
Yeah, I unfortunately learned about that one after I made this video, or it definitely would have been included.
I believe you can fuse a spear to other weapons to massively increase its range AND attack at the same time, plus it keeps the cutting edge, which is good when you need to cut a lot of grass. Also, I don’t think people realize that a star fragment is used to create a light wand for the depths. It’s niche, but interesting.
Both of those are great! The light wand is really nice. :)
How, how, how am I still learning new things about this game after playing it or a year.
It just has SOO many things.
Yeeeaaah boooyyyy that rocket shield really makes up for not having revali's gale anymore
And you don’t have to wait for it to recharge. As long as you have a rocket, you can go up!
@@LionsShareYT I usually use rocket shields in the depths..to fight froxes and stone taluses...and I use lynel bows to fire multiple bloomseeds at once.. so much to figure out in this game !
5:10 muddle buds work on 8foldlongblade too. :3
Yes, I unfortunately learned that after making this video or I definitely would have included it
How did you make that pose with the feather sowrd?
In the selfie mode of the Purah Pad’s camera, you can press the D-Pad buttons individually or in combination with ZL to make different poses, and if you have a weapon equipped, that’s one of the poses you can make.
Stake arrows (and weapons) can destroy the enemy's armor in one hit (not sure about lynels tho)
I think if you use a multi-shot bow, most of the stronger hammer-type fuse materials will one-shot any armor
Amazing video. I hardly ever use shield surfing tbh because your shield wears down so quick and I usually just glide down things.
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed it! Also, fair point about shield surfing. I mostly use it if it’s going to be faster.
If you use a minecart or zonai cart shield to ride on rails it won't use any durability, as long as you only use it on rails
Radiant Shields and Gerudo Shields are the best standard shields for surfing, as they lose significantly less durability from friction than other standard shields.
When used only for surfing, Radiant Shields have the highest durability of all standard shields.
I keep a set of Radiant Shields with various surfing fusions such as Mining Carts, Zonai Carts, Frozen Hearty Salmon, etc.
As for legendary shields, the Hylian Shield wins through sheer total durability; but I don't have it yet, so I keep a Frozen Hearty Salmon on my Daybreaker for when I want to be fancy.
You _could_ put emitters on a boomerang, or Alternatively giant colgera boomerang
True enough. It is a lot of damage.
Hylian shield with fire dragon shard. It breaks rock/crate/armor, gives you fire to light camp, can create an updraft with pin/piment mushroom, deals damage while parying, doesn't conduct electricity (attract lightning tho), doesn't burn, one shot fire enemies, warms you in cold environment, has 800 durability and is repairable with oktorock as it is. Most useful fuse in the game 👌
That’s a great point!
These developers deserve many good things
For real. You can tell a lot of love went into this game.
Bees are good for crowd control when there are too many enemies ganging up on you. I use a bee spoon all the time. LOL
Oh, that’s good thinking. I kept trying it on Lizalfos, but I think they’re just too fast
Damn, you’re so much more creative than me. Did I even play the same game as you???
There’s so much you can do, it can definitely feel like a different game depending on how you play.
What's with the propeller on your shield?
It mostly doesn’t do anything. I was probably testing it at the time, or I might have been using my shield to smuggle the part out of a shrine for an Ultrahand build.
The video was great but you can put an oocto balloon on your shield to cheat shrines
Yeah, I talked about the Octo-Balloon Shield in a previous video
The same effect with zonai stuff works with anything elemental
Does it work without making contact though? That’s an important factor with the Zonai devices.
I would say that the honeycomb one being an "incredible fuse" is a bit of a stretch but damn, the hover stones & stakes I was not aware of. The good thing is that I have just 5-burst shot bows, so does that mean I will shoot 5 at a time?😂
Fair. Though it apparently is better than I realized because Zonai construct heads will target bees, so you can use them to direct Ultrahand builds to target specific enemies.
As far as multi-shot bows, my experience is that you will get 5 of whatever you attach to the arrow, but they will despawn on impact. So, no hoverstone/stake duplication, unfortunately.
Cannon spears are my personal favorite because they're literally like the medieval hand cannon. Aka the world's first firearm.
Indeed. Very fun.
the octo balloon is cool
I agree. :)
Chu jelly fusions would be good if you have the armor sets that give you immunity to the effects
Good point!
i have so many useful and powerful fuse items and i cant help but not use them but they look weird as hell when fused lol, i do wish there was more seamless shield fusing instead of mounting most things sticking straight out of the shield hahaha
Yeah, but can you imagine if they had to design unique models for each and every possible fuse combo? We never would have gotten the game.
@LionsShareYT oh yeah it would probably not have come out ever
God bless you too!
Thanks!
@@LionsShareYT we subscribed and I very much enjoyed that video. We just finished the water temple (up to the boss fight, that will be the next episode) last night on our livestream. We will start using some of your fuse tips. Thanks!
@GameCanda awesome! Glad you enjoyed!
Can anyone tell me what the very first song from the intro is?
It’s the Gerudo Valley Theme from Ocarina of Time. :)
@@LionsShareYT Thank you so much, the first Zelda game I ever played but never completed
It isn’t as cool as some other fusions, but a colgera jaw (only obtained via the rematches) with a giant boomerang lets you gave an EVEN MORE GIANT boomerang, which makes aiming a thing of the past.
That’s nice. The bigger, the better.
It actually very much is up there with the coolest boomerang fusions, as a Colgera Jaw-Giant Boomerang not only adds a larger hitbox and high damage, but also insane multihit potential which massively boosts the potential damage from a single throw.
Aiming slightly to the right of an enemy and aligning Link such that the boomerang would strike the enemy on its return (far easier to do than it sounds) can land 5-7 hits to that enemy -- and still multihit other enemies within the throw arc at the same time.
Also: boomerang orbit throw
I wish fusing butter (or oil) to your shield reduced friction like ice does. Actually... does oil? I never tried breaking an oil on a shield.
No, it just breaks and causes you to instantly ragdoll.
@@LionsShareYT Missed opportunity in my opinion. Cool of you to try it out!
If I’m not mistaken the sled, cart, and frozen meat all give the same effect
Hm. I’ll have to look into it some more. I did notice that the amount of friction on level ground appeared to be very close. I’d be curious to see how different terrain impacts each fusion’s effectiveness.
What if you fuse an ice elemental object to a shield and try to “skateboard “ on water?
I think it just creates a sheet of ice in the water. I don’t think it would let you surf on water, unfortunately.
